All Good Wishes

Hello Everyone!  Today the JustRite team are showcasing two new Christmas Background stamps - perfect for making quick cards and easily mass produced for all those on your Christmas list this year!  I've used the new Holly Frame Background Stamp!
This is a quick and easy card to create and I've begun with a base of green card.  The layers are made of white and then another piece of white stamped with Holly Frame Background Stamp in Memento Rich Cocoa and then airbrushed with G12, G24 and G28 Copic Markers. (Don't have Copics?  You can sponge coloured ink on instead.)  I've added bling swirls to the top and bottom corners and a silver ribbon down the middle.  The sentiment frame is from July's release called Christmas Vintage Labels Four and has been stamped in Memento Cottage Ivy onto White, airbrushed with E53 Copic. It's been cut out with JustRite's Vintage Labels Four Dies and popped up on foam tape.  The sentiment has been stamped in Rich Cocoa and cut with Large Circle Nestabilities and also popped up on foam tape.

Stamps - Holly Frame Background, Christmas Vintage Labels Four (JustRite)
Paper - White and Green Cardstock
Ink - Memento Rich Cocoa and Cottage Ivy
Accessories - JustRite Vintage Labels Four Dies, Copic Markers, Airbrush System, Bling Flourish, Silver Ribbon, Foam Tape.

Lacey Tiers

Hello Everyone!!  Today the JustRite team are showcasing a brand new die set by our very own Becca Feeken!!!  I'm sure most of you would be very familiar with Becca's gorgeous work and it would come as no surprise that her label, Amazing Paper Grace, has created a beautiful, elegant die set called Lacey Tiers Dies which is exclusive to JustRite Papercraft!!

I used a base of pale aqua card, layered with vanilla and then more aqua.  Next I used the frame and circle dies from Lacey Tiers Dies to cut some more vanilla and attached to the front.  I've coloured some white ribbon with Copic BG11 and attached to the middle and layered with some pretty Pleated Trim from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store!  The sentiment is from JustRite's Grateful Heart Vintage Labels Two set, stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa onto vanilla and cut with JustRite's Vintage Label and Banner Die. I've then created a rose out of some DP using Spellbinders Rose Creations and Spellbinders Foliage 2.  I've finished by adding a LOT of pearls around the edge and to the centre of the rose.

Stamps - Grateful Heart Vintage Labels Two (JustRite)
Paper - Aqua Bazzill, Very Vanilla
Ink - Memento Rich Cocoa
Accessories - Lacey Tiers Dies, Vintage Label and Banner Dies, Rose Creations Dies, Foliage Two Dies, Copic Marker, Ribbon, Pleated Trim, Pearls.

I've created my card using a base of Riding Hood Red and layered with a piece of Very Vanilla cut with Elegant Labels Four die.  Next I've stamped the Christmas Cardinal Background Stamp in Memento Rich Cocoa onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured it with Copic Markers.  The sentiment is from Christmas Vintage Labels Four (that we showcased yesterday) and has been stamped in Rich Cocoa.  I've carefully cut around the frame of the stamped piece with scissors and then popped it up on foam tape.

Christmas Ornaments!

Hello Everyone!!  This week the JustRite team are showcasing the July releases and today we are looking at Heritage Christmas Ornaments!  It's a beautiful, elegant set perfect for everything from CAS style, vintage, very detailed or even for creating decorations for your tree!

I've used the middle sized round ornament from Heritage Christmas Ornaments and stamped it in Versamark onto pink card and then embossed it with silver EP.  I've cut it by hand, but did you know that this shape matches the BRAND NEW SPELLBINDERS DIE for 2013????  Another must have for my collection and you can pre-order yours now HERE!!

I've used a base of Wild Wasabi and layered with pink and Mist Twist DP.  Across the bottom I've added layers of more pink and Mint Twist and cut both with A2 Bracket Borders One.  I've then framed my ornament with a piece of white cut with Stately Circles Nestabilities and popped it up over a strip of pink ribbon and topped with a bow!  Finally I've added a LOT of pearls for a bit of BLING!

Inside I've used the smallest round ornament, also embossing it with silver (Unfortunately it looks dark in this pic) and paired it with a sentiment from Christmas Grand Sentiments.
Stamps - Heritage Christmas Ornaments, Christmas Grand Sentiments (JustRite)
Paper - Wild Wasabi, Pink, White, Kaisercraft Mint Twist DP
Ink - Versamark, Memento Tuxedo Black

Sending Love

Hello Everyone!!  Today I have another Copic Tutorial on the Flourishes Blog and this time I'm colouring this beautiful branch of flowers from Flourishes Garden Gate stamp set!  For all the details on Copic Colours, pop on over to the Flourishes Blog!!  :)

For the card construction, I've created my base using Very Vanilla and Resplendent Rectangles Nestabilities.  I've actually airbrushed a little R12 into the middle while it was still in the die to soften the edges.  I've then used the next die in the set to cut a piece of Kaisercraft Remember Me DP and attached it to the front.  The oval is constructed with some peachy card (I have a feeling it might be some Groovy Guava that I found in Mt Scrap on my desk!) that has been cut with Floral Oval Nestabilities.  I've layered with Chocolate Chip cut with Opulent Ovals Nestabilities and then Very Vanilla cut with Classic Oval Large Nestabilities.  The lattice is created with more of the peach card cut with the Spellbinders 'Lattice' die and then I've die cut that with the same Large Oval Nestabilities die that I used earlier.  I've taken the flowers that I've cut and coloured (see the Flourishes Blog for details) and popped it up on foam tape.  To finish I've stamped the sentiment from Spring Blossoms in Memento Rich Cocoa and cut into into a notched tag and attached as shown.

Stamps - Garden Gate, Spring Blossoms (Flourishes)
Paper - Blending Card, Very Vanilla, Peach Card (Groovy Guava?), Chocolate Chip, Kaisercraft Remember Me DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Rich Cocoa
Accessories - Copics, Spellbinders: Resplendent Rectangles, Floral Ovals, Opulent Ovals, Classic Oval Large Nestabilities, Lattice; Ribbon, Foam Tape, Scissors.

That's all from me today, thanks for visiting and hope you are inspired to stamp!  :)

BWT - Citrus in July

Hello Everyone and welcome to the July Beautiful World Tour!!  If you've jetted in from Meredith's Blog then you are in the right place, if not you may want to start back at the Flourishes Blog!  Today our hostess is Sasha and she's challenged us to use Citrus colours in our projects!  I know it's Summer in many parts of the world and that it is Citrus season for them, but did you know that although it is Winter here in Australia, that it is Citrus time here too??  It's usually around the beginning of May (late Autumn here) that the mandarins start popping up in stores and then citrus fruits continue through Winter.  Keep in mind, in our part of the world it never snows and even in the middle of winter most of the trees are green!  :)

I've used the Flourishes Garden Gate stamp set for my Citrus themed card being inspired by the colours of Lemons, Limes and Oranges!  I've used a base of Old Olive and layered with yellow, white and Summer Breeze DP.  Across this is another piece of Old Olive punched with Woodland Branch border punch and topped with more Summer Breeze DP.  Around this I've added a piece of Solid Wrinkled White ribbon.  I've stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black on blending card and coloured with a variety of Copic markers from the Olive GreenBurnt Orange, Daffodil, Cool Neutrals and Terra Cotta Collections.  I've cut this into a square and matted with Old Olive and yellow cut with Fleur De Lis Squares Nestabilities.  I've added a small pearl flourish to the top corner, a double bow to the ribbon and stamped the sentiment from Garden Gate, cut with Classic Oval Large Nestabilities and popped it up on foam tape.

Stamps - Garden Gate (Flourishes)
Paper - Old Olive, White, Yellow, Blending Card, Kasiercraft Summer Breeze DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Squares, Large Oval Nestabilities, Solide Wrinkled White Ribbon, Bow Easy, MS Woodland Branch Border Punch, Pearl Flourish, Foam Tape.

The next stop on today's Beautiful World Tour is........Aleksandra in Slovenia!!
