It's a nice, easy fun hop this month with no hidden words or anything to collect......however there are 3 lots of hidden blog candy on 3 of the designers blogs - to be eligible for one of three $15 gift vouchers to the ODBD Store leave comments on as many blogs as possible!! The hop will go until 8pm Monday 2nd August (USA EST......10am Tuesday AU EST) and the winners will be announced on the ODBD Blog on Tuesday 3rd August.
Today I've chosen to showcase the new Don't Worry set which includes this beautiful chicory flower, the gorgeous butterfly and several sentiments. I've started with a base of purple bazzill and punched the bottom with the EK success embossed curve punch and then layered with Very Vanilla that's also punched across the bottom. Next I added a lighter shade of purple and then some Memory Box Frond DSP that was pierced around the edges. Through the middle I've added some wide ivory ribbon and topped with some purple satin ribbon. I've used the Label 10 Nestabilities to make a frame and then stamped the sentiment and cut it out with Small Oval Nestabilities and sponged a little Antique Linen around it. Both the flower and butterfly were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics - BV00, BV02, BV04, G40, G82 - and then both were cut out and popped up on foam tape. To finish I added some ivory pearls to the corners.
Stamps - Don't Worry (ODBD)
Paper - Dk and light Purple Bazzill, Very Vanilla, Memory Box Frond DSP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, Label 10 and Small Oval Nestabilities, EK Success Single Embossed Curve Border Punch, Ivory and Purple Satin Ribbon, Paper Piercer, Mat Pack, Kaisercraft Blush Pearls, Scissors, Foam Tape.
From here, travel to the lovely and incredibly talented and totally sweet BECCA and see what stunning creation she has for you today!!!
