The Savior is Born

Hello Everyone!!  Today's card is one I made for the Dare to Get Dirty challenges at Splitcoaststampers and encompassed 3 challenges for Jeanne, Joanne and Deb.  It is so good to get an early start on this year's Christmas cards and hopefully there won't be a last minute panic this year!!  This is one of the July Release Christmas sets by JustRite Stampers called Rejoice.  It's a ribbed set of four borders and four centres designed for the oval stamper.  I just love the elegance of this set!
The base is made of Riding Hood Red, Gold, Very Vanilla (punched with Deco Fan punch) and Bo Bunny A Gift of Love DP.  Across this I've added some Very Vanilla that I've pleated and added a little Antique Linen ink too.  Across the top is some cream lace and red grosgrain ribbon.  I've stamped the border in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and then coloured with a R39 Copic Marker.  (I was going to airbrush it - then my aircan ran out!  D'oh!!!).  The centre from Rejoice was also stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with Copics (R29, R39, G24, G28).  Then I added a little Gold Spica to the swirl.  The border was popped up on foam tape to frame the centre.  To finish I made some buttons out of Riding Hood Red and adhered them to the corner.

Stamps - Rejoice (JustRite)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Riding Hood Red, Gold Gloss, Very Vanilla, Bo Bunny Gift of Love DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, Large Circle Nestabilities, MS Deco Fan Punch, Red Grosgrain Ribbon, Cream Lace, 3/4in circle punch, 1/2in circle punch, 1/4in circle punch, 1/8in circle punch, paper piercer, Dimensional magic, Foam Tape, Gold Spica.

That's all from me today, thanks for visiting and hope you are Inspired to Stamp!!!  :)
