For the Love of......Family

Welcome to Our Daily Bread Design's Alumni Team's bi-monthly For the Love Blog Hop.  This week the Alumni team along with some of the ODBD designers are featuring a hop For the Love of Family! Today I've used Happy Retirement to make my card, stamping it in Memento Rich Cocoa and colouring it with Copics.  It's been cut out with Large Oval Nestabilities and matted with blue cut with Labels 18.  The base is made of blue, green and some MME Good Day Sunshine paper with a vertical panel of green and the reverse of the MME paper topped with some May Arts Mesh.  To accent I've added several Kaisercraft Blush Pearls.

    Wow Kathy! I swear I can feel the sand between my toes when I look at this beautiful card! I love your coloring along with the textures... so very refreshing and makes me long for a beach somewhere... Hugs and blessings...

    Love how you kept the coloring on the image so simple, it just jumps out with that beautiful background. like the ribbon that has that net look. A lovely and peaceful card.

    I studied your card because at first glance I knew there was DETAIL. The colors are marvelous. I made that hammock out of jute in my macrame days and it was not comfotable. The idea of course is wonderfully whimsical. Pearls.....deep sea diving?

    You made it seem easy to make a man card ( unlike a man cold which is very complicated)
