It's a Birthday Blog Hop!

Let’s light the candles and strike up the music, the owner of Flourishes – Jan Marie Caruso – is celebrating a birthday and we’re helping her by getting the party started! Why not leave some love on the Flourishes blog HERE and while you are there, start to hop on through the Flourishes team members who are honoring her special day! Happy Birthday Jan Marie!  Why not pop on over to her BLOG and wish her a Happy Birthday too!!  :)

To celebrate Jan Marie's day, I've chosen the roses from A Year in Flowers 2 and the sentiment from Fanciful Flourishes.  The roses were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (Y21, Y35, Y38, G20, G21, G24, G28).  It was cut out with Large Circle Nestabilities and matted with Lacey Circle Nestabilites which were popped up over a matt of brown bazzill cut with Labels 8 Nestabilities.  The sentiment is also stamped in Memento and punched out with an oval punch.  Added a border using the Arch Lattice punch, a bit of yellow satin ribbon and finished with a couple of Kaisercraft Snow Pearls.

Stamps - A Year in Flowers 2, Fanciful Flourishes (Flourishes)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Yellow, White, Aqua, Brown Bazzill, October Afternoon Thrift Shop DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, Large Circle, Lacey Circle and Labels 8 Nestabilities, Martha Stewart Arch Lattice Punch, Yellow Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Kaisercraft Snow Pearls, Foam Tape.

  26. Yellow rose of wattle instead of the 'Yellow Rose of Texas' with very fine coloring at that, Kathy. Wonderful of you to make such a detailed card when flooding is happening all around you on the north and west. In your yard? Hope you are safe. Check out my friend in Gayboro about twenty minutes from you to the north and a 'squosh' west.(email me mt23stamper atyahoodotcom for deets) Your area certainly cultivates blooming artists as she and her dd gloriously craft. DD draws her way through jr. and senior high school with most beautifully shared work among her 'mates. Totally fun to browse and return to your site featuring this very lovely yellow rose JM birthday card / gift. As you celebrate going through this day...
    Keep Looking UP!
