August Colour Combo

Hello Everyone!  It's time for a new Diva Colour Challenge over on the Divinity Designs Blog!  This month our colours are Cranberry, Sunflower and Rust.

I've made a Thank You card today using the Thanks for Everything Stamp/Die Duo set.  I've die cut the 'Thanks' out of Fall Favorites Paper and cut another out of cream card and glued them together for strength and dimension.  I've die cut the cream circle using Pierced Circles and stamped the sentiment in the middle and attached the 'Thanks'.  I've matted this with Fall Favorites Paper cut with Circles and Scalloped Circles Dies.  The panel behind that is Follow the Son Paper with a layer of cream cut with Lattice Background and both panels cut with Rounded Rectangles.  The circle panel has been popped up on top of the lattice panel.  The base is cream topped with a plain and patterned layer from Fall Favorites Paper wrapped with two pieces of gold ribbon.  I've finished with pewter pearls in the corners.

Hello Everyone!  Today the Divinity Divas are going down to the farm!!  We have adorable farm animal stamps and awesome coordinating dies to create fun scenes!  A fun story, my first trip to the USA was when I was 19 and when I visited Iowa, I was amazed that the barns really were RED!!  We don't have red barns here in Australia, mostly they are plain wood, or these days metal!!  :)

For my first card, I've made a Center Step Card using Center Step Card Die and the matching Center Step Layers dies to create the card base out of brown card and green papers from Boho Bolds and Christmas 2017 papers.  Across the top I've used Cloud Borders and Baby Boy paper for the clouds.  Using Red, White, Black and Brown card and the Barn Dies, I've created the red barn.  I've created the fence using white card and the Farm Fence Die, the grass using the Grass Lawn Die and then finished the scene by stamping, colouring and diecutting the animals using Farm Friends Stamp Die Duos!

Stamps - Farm Friends SDD (Divinity Designs)
Paper - DD Boho Bolds, Christmas 2017 and Baby Boy Paper Pads; Red, White, Brown
Ink -Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - DD Dies: Barn, Farm Fence, Grass Lawn, Center Step Card, Center Step Layers, Cloud Borders; Copics

For my second card I've used a base of brown, layered with white card and then a blue and white spot paper from Boho Bolds.  I've also used the green paper from Boho Bolds and the Grass Lawn Die and Grass Hill Die for the grass accents.  I've made a wooden barn using Weathered Wood paper, Black and Brown card and the Barn Dies.  Then I've cut white card using Farm Fence Die to create the fence and filled the scene with the animals stamped, coloured and diecut using Farm Friends Stamp Die Duos.

Purple Birthday Gift Bag

Hello Everyone!  Today I have a Gift Bag that I made for a co-worker's birthday.  Callum's favourite colour is purple and favourite movie is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - so I've tried to go with that sort of theme and of course filled the bag with chocolates!!  :)

For the bag base, I've cut purple card using the Card Caddy and Gift Bag Dies and then used the matching Gift Bag Handles and Topper to cut the Vintage Ephemera paper.  The panels on the front are created by cutting a layer of white with Snowflake Sky, a rectangle of brown and then some Boho Bolds paper cut with Rectangles Dies.  Across this I've added a strip of purple and cut his name using Long and Lean Letters out of brown and white.  Finally I've used the Wavy Words Stamp/Die Duos to create the banner along the top!

Stamps - Wavy Words SDD (Divinity Designs)
Ink - Black
Paper - DD Vintage Ephemera, DD Boho Bolds; Purple, White, Brown
Accessories - DD Dies: Card Caddy and Gift Bag, Gift Bag Handles and Topper, Snowflake Sky, Rectangles, Long and Lean Letters; Glue

Birthday Gift Bag

Hello Everyone!  This month the Divinity Divas were challenged to a new colour combo which consists of Moss, Buttercream and Mauve.....such a pretty combo!  I've made my project feature more of the mauve and used a little amount of the other two colours as accents.  At my workplace, when a birthday comes along I usually make a little gift box or bag and pop in a little treat.....and also take balloons!  I had a lot of birthdays all really close together lately which made me think I really should make up some boxes and bags in preparation and be a little more organised!

I've created a gift bag using Card Caddy and Gift Bag dies to cut cream card and then glued all the pieces together.  I've then cut some pink paper from Shabby Pastels Paper Pad with Snowflake Sky Die for the front panel, topping with some moss green paper and spotted pink paper using the Shabby Pastels Paper Pad.  Next I've used Fancy Circles to cut cream card, topped with pink Shabby Pastels Paper also cut with Fancy Circles and topped again with spotted cream paper from the same paper collection and glued it to the front of the box.  Next I've stamped the sentiment from Wavy Words Stamp Die Duo in black onto cream card, die cut with the matching die and then airbrushed it with RV95 Copic while it was still in the die.  I've then popped this up on foam tape and finished with a few clear rhinestones.

Stamps - Wavy Words Stamp Die Duo (Divinity Designs)
Ink - Black
