Gift Tote

Hello Everyone!  This month the Divinity Divas have been given the Colour Combo Challenge of Red, Light Pink and Green.  These colours can be found in the Christmas Collection 2018 paper pad which is sooooo pretty!  I've decided it's not too early to make a start on Christmas gift boxes because the end of this year is going to be a little crazy in the Jones household!

I've created the base of this Tote Bag using a pink card stock and the Timeless Tote and Layers dies.  I've then used the Christmas Collection 2018 paper pad, white card and the Timeless Tote and Layers dies to decorate the panels.  To accent I've used Snow Crystals dies and white card and A Gift for You dies and pink card and attached as shown.  It's a quick, easy and fun project to make!  :)

Sending You Love

Hello Everyone!  Today I have another card I've made as a guest designer for Uniquely Creative!  This gorgeous set is called Sending Love and has matching Sending Love Dies!  Aren't these blooms just amazing!

I've folded a piece of light blue card for the base.  The main layer is constructed of white card, a piece of watercolour blue patterned paper and topped with another piece of white card.  The top piece of white has been die cut with Interlocking Scribble Circles Die to give a little texture.  The flowers from Sending Love have been stamped in grey ink onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics.  I've then die cut them with the matching Sending Love Dies and glued as shown.  The sentiment from Sending Love has been stamped in black and trimmed to size and popped up on foam tape.  I've then popped the entire card front up on foam tape on the base card and finished with a few Crystal Rhinestones.

Beautiful Girl

Hello Everyone!  I have some super fun news that I've had to keep secret for a little while....this month I'm a guest designer for Uniquely Creative!  If you haven't heard of them before, Uniquely Creative is an Australian stamp and die company with some beautiful designs and I've been blessed to be ask to join the team this month!  You can follow all the latest news on the Uniquely Creative Blog!

Let me introduce you to Beautiful Bird!  My first reaction was "How CUTE is this bird"....my second reaction was...."What sort of bird is this and how do I colour it?".  I have to admit I'm a little bird-challenged and did a lot of research on this bird and in the end decided it must be a Rosella!

This bird didn't actually come with the spots on the wings, I drew them in with a Black .01 Copic Multiliner.  I've stamped and coloured the bird and leafy branches from Beautiful Bird with a large range of Copics and Prismacolor Pencils and then die cut with the matching Beautiful Bird Dies.  I've stamped the "Beautiful Girl" sentiment in pink ink and die cut with the matching die.  The other sentiment is also from Beautiful Bird and I've trimmed it with a paper trimmer.  Once I had all my pieces, I constructed the card using green for the base.  Next I've taken white card, die cut some feathers using Uniquely Creative Sketchy Feather Trio 1 Die set as well as a layer for the card.  I've placed the feather die cuts over the panel and airbrushed with Copic G43 to create my background.  Around this I've added pink ribbon and topped with a panel of pink and white (lightly airbrushed with Copic G43) and popped it up on foam tape.  I've glued all the images and sentiments as shown and finished with some Uniquely Creative Silver Pearls.  (Just a heads up, you can buy the stamps and dies as a bundle!)

Less is More Unless...

Hello Everyone!  Today the Divinity Divas are playing with the September Release and I've been using some of the awesome new Coffee themed goodies from Divinity Designs to create a fun Trifold Card.

I've used the Tri-fold Card and Layers die to cut some orange card for the base and the Latte Love paper for the layers.  I've used the 'coffee' die from Perk Up Stamp/Die Duo to cut some brown card and glued it into place.  I've also used Perk Up to stamp both the sentiments in brown ink onto cream card.  The first one I've cut using Sentiment Strips Dies, the other I've cut with Large Banner Dies.  To accent, I've used Cocoa and Coffee Stamp/Die Duos to cut out the mug, hearts, coffee and foam.

I love that the Cocoa and Coffee set has all the mix and match pieces (and they can be used for other projects besides coffee themes too)!

Stamps - Perk Up SDD (Divinity Designs)
Ink - Memento Rich Cocoa
Paper - Divinity Designs Latte Love, Pumpkin Pie, Cream, White
Accessories - Divinity Designs Dies: Tri-Fold Card and Layers, Sentiment Strips, Large Banner Dies, Cocoa and Coffee SDD

Coffee Time!

Hello Everyone!!  It's a new month and that means it's time for a brand new Divinity Designs Release!  This month it's time to get your caffeine on and delve into COFFEE!!  If you love your coffee then this month is just for you!

I've made a side step card using the new goodies from Divinity Designs and began cutting cream card using the Side Step Card Die and then cut some Latte Love Paper using Side Step Layers Dies.  I've then die cut the word 'coffee' using the same paper pad and the die from Perk Up.  The cup and coffee jug have been stamped from Perk Up and die cut with the matching dies from the same set.  The sentiment is also from Perk Up, die cut using Circles Dies and matted with Latte Love paper cut with Fancy Circles Dies. Finally I've die cut the mug, coffee oval (the top has been stamped with the matching stamp for the heart foam), heart and steam using Cocoa and Coffee

Stamps - Perk Up Stamp Die Duo (Divinity Designs)
Paper - DD Latte Love, Cream, Brown
Ink - Memento Rich Cocoa, Hero Arts Unicorn White
