Extended Family Large Fancy Sentiments

Hello Everyone!  Today I've made a card especially for my almost 11yr old niece who loves yellow and orange!  To create this card I've used JustRite Papercraft's new Extended Family Large Fancy Sentiments and Romantic Wild Roses (released on Tuesday).  Her birthday will be here before I know it and this year, at least I won't be making a card at the last minute!!  :)

I've used a base of Tangerine Tango and layered with white and another piece of Tangerine Tango cut with A2 Divine Eloquence.  Next I took a piece of white and used Romantic Wild Roses to create a background using Memento New Sprout, Bamboo Leaves and Tangelo. (For the lighter shade, I've lightly stamped it off on some scratch paper first and then stamped it.  The darker shade has been inked and stamped directly over the top.)  I've then used Memento Dandelion ink to stamp the little round image randomly on the page.  Finally I lightly airbrushed some Copic YR30 over the page to soften the look.  I've then cut this with Labels Twenty Eight and attached it to the front.  Around this I've attached a piece of green ribbon.  I've used the same inks as above (plus Cantaloupe for the centres) to stamp the largest rose and matching leaves.  I've cut these out and popped them up on foam tape.  Next I've stamped the "To My" and "Niece" sentiments from Extended Family Large Fancy Sentiments onto a piece of white and cut it into a notched tag.

Stamps - Extended Family Large Fancy Sentiment, Romantic Wild Roses (JustRite)
Ink - Memento New Sprout, Bamboo Leaves, Tangelo, Dandelion, Cantaloupe, Rich Cocoa
Paper - Tangelo Tango, White
Accessories - Spellbinders A2 Divine Eloquence, Copic YR30, Airbrush System, Green Ribbon, X-press It Foam Tape

Coffee House

Hello Everyone!  Today's post is all about caffeine!  How many of you crave your first coffee of the day?  Well this set is for YOU!!  Coffee House is the latest offering by JustRite Papercraft and it's perfect for all those coffee themed projects for your caffeine addicted friends and family.  :)

I've gone with something a little different by creating a 3D project with my Silhouette Cameo.  I've used the 3D Teacup Box template and cut the base pieces out of Chocolate Chip and the patterned paper is Miss Match by Kaisercraft.  I've taped it all together with X-press It High Tac Tape.

Once I've taped the box together, I've stamped the sentiment from Coffee House in Memento Rich Cocoa onto cream card and cut it out with JustRite Vintage Labels Seven Die

While it was still in the die, I've lightly sponged some Memento Desert Sand ink over the sentiment and then attached it to the front of the cup.  Next I've made some flowers out of Spellbinders Blooms Three Dies, Chocolate Chip card and some random paper that had similar colours to my other DP.  To finish I've accented with a brown bling flourish.

Want even more coffee inspired projects???  Wait until you see what the JR Girls have in store for you!

Romantic Wild Roses

Hello Everyone!  Are you ready to get romantic......about Romantic Wild Roses that is!  This is the brand new set released by JustRite Papercraft and it's a two-step stamp set which you can use to create beautiful cards for any number of occasions!

As you can see, this set doesn't come with any sentiments, so use it on its own, or use your favourite sentiment set!  I decided to make a Get Well card for today's card.  Just over a month ago, my Dad suffered two strokes and landed in the Acute Stroke Unit with three other people.  One of these is a lady called Patty.  We became friendly with Patty and her sister-in-law while they were in the ASU together and when the time came they both moved to the Rehabilitation Unit which is where they both are today.  I made this card for Patty as a little thing to cheer her up.  I'm taking Dad chocolate which I *know* will make him happy!  :)

I've used a base of Pool Party and layered with Kraft and Tropical Punch DP.  Next I've added a strip of white and topped with more Pool Party randomly stamped using Romantic Wild Roses and Versamark Ink.  Around this I've attached some ribbon.  Next I cut a piece of white with Spellbinders Labels Twenty Eight and started constructing my image out of the various pieces in the Romantic Wild Roses stamp set.  I've used a variety of Memento Inks - Angel Pink, Rose Bud, New Sprout, Bamboo Leaves, Cantaloupe.  I then lightly added some BG0000 Copic ink around the image and edges.  I've stamped the sentiment from Fancy Large Sentiments in Rose Bud.  I've framed it with Baked Brown Sugar cut with Decorative Labels Twenty Eight and popped it up on foam tape.  To finish I've added a bow and some lemon pearls.

Stamps - Romantic Wild Roses, Fancy Large Sentiments (JustRite)
Ink - Memento Angel Pink, Rose Bud, New Sprout, Bamboo Leaves, Cantaloupe
Paper - Pool Party, Kraft, White, Baked Brown Sugar, Kaisercraft Tropical Punch DP
Accessories - Spellbinders Labels 28 and Decorative Labels 28, BG0000 Copic, Ribbon, Bow Easy, Lemon Pearl, X-press It Foam Tape

The JR Girls have some incredible inspiration for you today, make sure you pop by and leave some love!  Don't miss Darsie's incredible tutorial on the JustRite Inspiration Blog too!!
