Be Happy!!!

Hello Everyone!!!  Well the DTGD week continues and this one thankfully incorporates three challenges - if I don't combine a few there is NO WAY I'm going to get all 33 done!!  This is a new Stamping Bella stamp I bought not long ago - isn't she CUTE!!!  The sentiment is part of the same set.  I don't know it's just so HAPPY!!  :)

I started with a pink bazzill base and layered with white and some Hey Birdie DSP.  The next panel is more white (punched on one end with the Lacy Days of Summer border punch) and topped with more Hey Birdie DSP.  Across the middle is some lighter pink bazzill (I actually embossed it with Swiss Dots - not that you can see it now!) and topped with some white crochet ribbon.  I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (R81, R83, R85, R89, G20, G21, G24, Y11, Y21, Y23, E31, E000, E01, 0) and cut out with Small Circle Nestabilities and matted with pale pink (large circle nestabilities) and dark pink (big scallop circle nestabilities) and popped it all up on X-press It Foam Mounting Tape.  Next I stamped the sentiment and cut it out as a notched tag, curving it a bit and added a foam butterfly (thanks to my dear friend Michelle) to the end and finally I finished by adding pink rhinestones to the butterfly and flowers of the image.

Stamps - Grattytude (Stamping Bella)
Paper - Pink Bazzill (2 shades), X-press It Blending Card, White, Kaisercraft Hey Birdie DSP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, Small, Large, Big Scallop Circle Nestabilities, Crochet Lace, Fabric Butterfly, Lace Days of Summer Border Punch, Kaisercraft Pink Rhinestones, X-press It Foam Mounting Tape.

Don't forget I've got Blog Candy and if you want to be in the draw to win please leave a comment on the post found HERE - the winner will be chosen from the list of names in the comments on that post on Monday Australian EST.

That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!! :)

MTSC81 Ipodabella

Hello Everyone!  Sorry I've been quiet lately, with the children on school holidays I've had less 'play' time than normal!  :)  Today I decided to play in one of my favourite challenges, Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge!  :)  I actually coloured this Ipodabella from Stamping Bella earlier in the week and used it for my tutorial about creating texture with fabric and blender solution (aka the Nasty Rag technique) which can be found on the CopicOz Blog!

I started with a base of brown bazzill and layered with white (pierced) and then a piece of Hey Birdie DSP.  Next is another piece of brown that I punched one side with the Lacy Days of Summer border punch and then topped with some more Hey Birdie paper.  Across the bottom I added some cream satin ribbon.  I had stamped Ipodabella in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured her with Copics (R81, R83, R85, E50, E51 E53, E21, E25, E27, E29, C3, C1, Silver Spica).  I cut it out with small oval nesties (and added a little sponging), matted with Rose Red and some lighter pink bazzill.  Finished by adding a small cream prima (thanks to my friend Michelle), a Kaisercraft pink rhinestone and of course a cream bow!!  :)

Stamps - Ipodabella (Stamping Bella)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Rose Red, White, Pink and Brown Bazzill, Kaisercraft Hey Birdie DSP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, Small, Large and Big Scallop Oval Nestabilities, Lacy Days of Summer Border Punch, Prima Flower, Cream Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Pink Kaisercraft Rhinestone, Foam Tape.

That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!  :)

Celebrate with a Cosmo

Hello Everyone!!  Today I was in the mood to make something bright and fun.  I used this week's Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge and new RUBBAH!!  :)  I have just bought this cute Cosmobella and the sentiment is brand new from JustRite Stampers as part of their All Occasions Nested Sentiments and Verse set.

I started with a base of aqua Bazzill and layered with yellow bazzill and some Fly A Kite DSP that my sweet friend Lori gave me!  :)  The next panel is more yellow and some more Fly A Kite DSP (don't you love that yellow flower paper!!!!!!) and around the middle I've knotted some yellow grosgrain ribbon.  I've stamped the Cosmobella in Memento Tuxedo Black on X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copic Markers (B93, B95, B97, E00, E02, E33, E35, E37, Y21, YG11, B00, C1) and then sponged a little green ink around it.  I've cut it out with Mega Rectangle Nestabilities and matted it with yellow bazzill cut with the matching scallop die and popped it up on foam tape.  I've stamped the 'Celebrate' sentiment from JustRite's new All Occasions Nested Sentiments and Verse set in Memento Tuxedo Black and finished by adding a few Kaisercraft rhinestones to the top corner!
