Just A Phone Call Away!

Hello Everyone!!  What a wild ride the last few weeks have been!  I hope you've all had a wonderful Christmas!!  Here in Australia, December is also the end of the school year, so combined with Christmas preparations, it was a crazy, crazy time at my house and then we had some blissful down time as we went away and spent time with family.

I don't know about you, but the years seem to be going faster and faster (I'm putting this down to three kids in primary school), sometimes I've stopped and realised it's been WEEKS since I've spoken to some of my friends and have to touch base to assure them that I'm still alive!  :)  Which brings me to the theme of today's card.....this is me trying to remind myself to not get so caught up in the craziness and have more fun with friends in 2014!

I've used a JustRite set called Call Me Soon - a super fun clear set (35 stamps!) with awesome mix and match possibilites!
http://justritepapercraft.com/collections/all-stamps/products/call-me-soon-clear-stamps

I started with a base of Blushing Bride card and layered with white, kraft and some MME Lavender DP.  Next I've taken another piece of Blushing Bride and die cut the edge with Spellbinders A2 Scallop Borders One and layered with more Lavender DP.  I've stamped the phones and sentiment from Call Me Soon in Memento Tuxedo Black and then coloured the phones with Copics (E50, E51, E53, RV91, RV93, RV95, C1).  I've cut them out with Spellbinder Standard Circles Small Nestabilities and attached as shown.

Stamps - Call Me Soon (JustRite)
Paper - Blushing Bride, White, Kraft, X-press It Blending Card, MME Lavender DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Spellbinders A2 Scallop Borders One, Standard Circles Small.

As this year comes to a close, I wish you all a very Happy New Year and may 2014 bless you with health, fun, friendship and happiness!

Festive Bottle Tag

Hello Everyone!  Today on the Copic Oz Blog I have a tutorial on how I've created this Bottle Tag using Flourishes' Dear Santa stamp set.  At this time of year when there are Christmas parties, drinks, dinners and gathering galore, why not add a fun and festive bottle tag to your next Hostess gift!  I'm sure they will be thrilled with that personal touch and it's bound to be a conversation starter!

I hope you'll pop by the Copic Oz Blog for details on measurements and Copic colours used on the Santa Hat image.  :)

Just A Note

Hello Everyone and welcome to Day 4 of the JustRite Papercraft December Release!  I hope you've been enjoying all the eye candy so far!  Today we are showcasing the Just A Note Vintage Sentiment Tags Clear Set AND a fabby new die called Vintage Sentiment Tag Dies!!  I was so excited about this die - it's a great length to fit all those longer sentiments inside, or in today's case, a perfect match for the frame from Just A Note.

I've used a base of red and cut the bottom with Spellbinders' A2 Bracket Borders One, the added layers of Chocolate Chip and Kraft stamped with Damask Wallpaper Background in Rhubarb Stalk and also cut these with the same die set.  I've stamped the frame from Just a Note in Rhubarb Stalk and then the sentiment and pens in Rich Cocoa.  I've added a little colour to the pens with Y21 and Y26 Copic and then cut them out and attached as shown.  The frame has been cut with Vintage Sentiment Tag Die and popped up on X-press It Foam Tape.  To finish I've added a couple of gold rhinestones to the corner.

Don't miss all the amazing creations the team have for you today!!

Thank You Grand Sentiments

Hello Everyone!!  Welcome to Day 3 of the JustRite Papercraft December Release!!  Today we are showcasing a new cling rubber set called Grand Thank You Sentiments!  Need to make a thank you card?  Well this set is perfect for you!  :)  Designed using larger fonts that are perfect for the focal panel of your card, which is fabulous when you need a card in a hurry.....or in my case, have sprained your wrist and can't manage much stamping.  Ever tried stamping with a bad wrist?  Yep, not easy!  :(

I've used a base of white and trimmed the corners with a corner rounder.  The next panel is vanilla stamped using JustRite's Leafy Background stamp in versamark and also trimmed the corners.  Around this I've wrapped a piece of white ribbon.  Next I've used Spellbinders' Majestic Labels 25 to cut a piece of Baja Breeze and a piece of white.  On the white, I've stamped the sentiment from Grand Thank You Sentiments in Memento Teal Zeal and then used the flourish element from JustRite's Celebrate Today Clear Set in Memento Desert Sand.  I've popped the white panel up on X-press It Foam Tape and then finished with a white bow and clear rhinestones in the corners.

The team have some beautiful creations for you today, why not pop by and be inspired!

Time Flies!

Hello Everyone!!  It's Day One of the JustRite Papercraft December Release!  Today the team are showcasing this fabulous new background called Time Flies Cling Background!
I've stamped the Time Flies Cling Background several times, once in Mememto Rhubarb Stalk and once in Rich Cocoa and once I've stamped in Versamark and embossed with gold embossing powder.  The sentiment is from Large Elegant Sentiments Clear and also stamped in Rich Cocoa. (My Timely Banners set which is also being showcased today didn't arrive in time, so I was excited to find another set with a sentiment which would be perfect!)  With the gold panel, I've cut out the watch and the coca pieces I've cut out the wings, banner and flourish and then coloured and layered them to give a bit of interest and contrast.   I've then matted the panel with some River Rock card and a red card base and finished with a couple of rhinestones.

The girls have some fabulous inspiration for you today, so why not pop by and leave a little love!  :)

That's all from me today, thanks for visiting and hope you are inspired to stamp!  :)

BWT White As Snow!

Hello Everyone!!  It's the first Monday of the month and that means it's time for another Flourishes Beautiful World Tour!!  If you've jetted in from Meredith's Blog, than you've arrived at the right destination!  If you've arrived by chance, why not start back at the Flourishes' Blog as see all the inspiration the team have for you!!  This month, our lovely hostess Meredith has challenged us to a White As Snow challenge!  This is open to interpretation, so I've gone with a mostly white card with a little 'cool' blue for a snowy feel.  Here in Australia, it is now Summer time so definitely no snow in my neck of the woods!  In saying that, even in the middle of winter it never snows here, our climate is just too tropical!  :)

I started by cutting a piece of white with Spellbinders Tapestry die and then matted it with a piece of white lightly airbrushed with Copic B000.  I've wrapped some white crochet lace ribbon and white satin ribbon around these layers.  I've then added a rhinestone flourish for a bit of sparkle!  The sentiment is from Flourishes' Winter Blossoms set and has been cut with Flourishes Perfectly Pierced Classic Window Die Set and then popped up on foam tape.  To finish I've added a little ribbon and some white flowers and then popped the whole panel up on foam tape over a fold white card base.

Well this is the last stop on today's hop, from here it's back to the Flourishes Blog!  I hope you've enjoyed jetting around the world and been inspired by our wonderful team!
