Birthday Gift Bag

Hello Everyone!  This month the Divinity Divas were challenged to a new colour combo which consists of Moss, Buttercream and Mauve.....such a pretty combo!  I've made my project feature more of the mauve and used a little amount of the other two colours as accents.  At my workplace, when a birthday comes along I usually make a little gift box or bag and pop in a little treat.....and also take balloons!  I had a lot of birthdays all really close together lately which made me think I really should make up some boxes and bags in preparation and be a little more organised!

I've created a gift bag using Card Caddy and Gift Bag dies to cut cream card and then glued all the pieces together.  I've then cut some pink paper from Shabby Pastels Paper Pad with Snowflake Sky Die for the front panel, topping with some moss green paper and spotted pink paper using the Shabby Pastels Paper Pad.  Next I've used Fancy Circles to cut cream card, topped with pink Shabby Pastels Paper also cut with Fancy Circles and topped again with spotted cream paper from the same paper collection and glued it to the front of the box.  Next I've stamped the sentiment from Wavy Words Stamp Die Duo in black onto cream card, die cut with the matching die and then airbrushed it with RV95 Copic while it was still in the die.  I've then popped this up on foam tape and finished with a few clear rhinestones.

All About Babies!

Hello Everyone!  It's a brand new month, so that means it's time for another new release from Divinity Designs!  This month it's all about BABIES!  Oh my gosh, this release is just so adorable you'll love it!!

I've made two projects for you today!  The first (above) is using the brand new Surprise Box Wide Dies, cutting some Blushing Bride card and then folding and gluing into place.  These dies also come with the matching layers dies which I've used to cut the new Baby Girl Paper Pad papers as shown. I've then die cut the word 'Baby' from Bless this Baby Stamp/Die Duo and the hearts using Layering Hearts Dies all using the same Baby Girl Paper Pad and attached as shown.  Finally I've stamped the clothesline, pegs and clothes from Baby Clothesline Stamp/Die Duo, onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured them with Copics and then die cut with the matching dies from the same set.  To have the clothesline coming up from the inside divider, I've used the matching card and the new Sentiment Strips Dies!  Now I'm sure that the Sentiment Strips are supposed to be used for small sentiments - but they also make PERFECT 'posts' for the clothesline!!  ;-)  I've also used the Bless this Baby stamps to stamp the 'Hello Sweet' sentiment and used the Sentiment Strips Dies to cut it out and then attached across the heart.  I've been hanging out for small strip dies for little sentiments, so I'm over the moon about this new addition to my collection!

Stamps - Bless this Baby Stamp Die Duo, Baby Clothesline Stamp Die Duo (Divinity Designs)
Ink - Memento Rich Cocoa
Paper - DD Baby Girl Paper Pad, Blushing Bride, White, X-press It Blending Card
Accessories - DD Dies: Surprise Box Wide, Layering Hearts, Sentiment Strips; Glue

My second project is a Center Step Card!  This time I've gone for the blues!  I've cut the dusty blue card using Center Step Card Die and then used the Center Step Layers Dies to cut the papers from Baby Boy Paper Pad.  I've used the same paper pad and Layering Hearts Dies to create the row of hearts across the bottom - popping them all up on foam tape.  Next I've used Double Stitched Rectangles Dies to create the frame out of Baby Boy paper and popped this up on foam tape.  I've cut the word 'Baby' from Bless This Baby out of Baby Boy paper and then another couple of times out of plain white card and glued them all together.  I thought since the frame was popped up that this would give the diecut a little more strength.  Before adding the word Baby, I've die cut the balloon out of the same paper using Balloons and Streamers Dies and attached as shown, then added the 'Baby' over the top.  I've used Bless This Baby sentiment stamps to add the 'It's A Boy'.

Stamps - Bless This Baby Stamp/Die Duo (Divinity Designs)
Ink - Versafine Black
Paper - DD Baby Boy Paper Pad, Dusty Blue Bazzill
Accessories - DD Dies: Center Step Card, Center Step Layers, Layering Hearts, Double Stitched Rectangles, Balloons and Streamers; X-press It Foam Tape
