All About Babies!

Hello Everyone!  It's a brand new month, so that means it's time for another new release from Divinity Designs!  This month it's all about BABIES!  Oh my gosh, this release is just so adorable you'll love it!!

I've made two projects for you today!  The first (above) is using the brand new Surprise Box Wide Dies, cutting some Blushing Bride card and then folding and gluing into place.  These dies also come with the matching layers dies which I've used to cut the new Baby Girl Paper Pad papers as shown. I've then die cut the word 'Baby' from Bless this Baby Stamp/Die Duo and the hearts using Layering Hearts Dies all using the same Baby Girl Paper Pad and attached as shown.  Finally I've stamped the clothesline, pegs and clothes from Baby Clothesline Stamp/Die Duo, onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured them with Copics and then die cut with the matching dies from the same set.  To have the clothesline coming up from the inside divider, I've used the matching card and the new Sentiment Strips Dies!  Now I'm sure that the Sentiment Strips are supposed to be used for small sentiments - but they also make PERFECT 'posts' for the clothesline!!  ;-)  I've also used the Bless this Baby stamps to stamp the 'Hello Sweet' sentiment and used the Sentiment Strips Dies to cut it out and then attached across the heart.  I've been hanging out for small strip dies for little sentiments, so I'm over the moon about this new addition to my collection!

Stamps - Bless this Baby Stamp Die Duo, Baby Clothesline Stamp Die Duo (Divinity Designs)
Ink - Memento Rich Cocoa
Paper - DD Baby Girl Paper Pad, Blushing Bride, White, X-press It Blending Card
Accessories - DD Dies: Surprise Box Wide, Layering Hearts, Sentiment Strips; Glue

My second project is a Center Step Card!  This time I've gone for the blues!  I've cut the dusty blue card using Center Step Card Die and then used the Center Step Layers Dies to cut the papers from Baby Boy Paper Pad.  I've used the same paper pad and Layering Hearts Dies to create the row of hearts across the bottom - popping them all up on foam tape.  Next I've used Double Stitched Rectangles Dies to create the frame out of Baby Boy paper and popped this up on foam tape.  I've cut the word 'Baby' from Bless This Baby out of Baby Boy paper and then another couple of times out of plain white card and glued them all together.  I thought since the frame was popped up that this would give the diecut a little more strength.  Before adding the word Baby, I've die cut the balloon out of the same paper using Balloons and Streamers Dies and attached as shown, then added the 'Baby' over the top.  I've used Bless This Baby sentiment stamps to add the 'It's A Boy'.

Stamps - Bless This Baby Stamp/Die Duo (Divinity Designs)
Ink - Versafine Black
Paper - DD Baby Boy Paper Pad, Dusty Blue Bazzill
Accessories - DD Dies: Center Step Card, Center Step Layers, Layering Hearts, Double Stitched Rectangles, Balloons and Streamers; X-press It Foam Tape

Hope you love this month's release as much as I do!!  You can find even more inspiration at these locations - the Blog, Webpages, Samples GalleryFacebookPinterest and Instagram. Thanks for popping by and hope you are inspired to stamp!  :)

Summer Berries

Hello Everyone!  Today Power Poppy has another sneak peek for you called Summer Berries!  This set has three images and an array of fabby sentiments!

I started by stamping the image from Summer Berries onto X-press It Blending Card and colouring it with Copics and pencils.  I was trying for something a little different - I think I over thought the bird!  Birds are a challenge for me, so I googled an Australian Red-Browed Finch as inspiration.  I thought it would be interesting with it's red face and green wings......I think I need more work!  In going with my 'let's try something different idea' - I've taken a stencil and blending brush and used Scattered Straw ink to create a bit of a background.  I don't know......what do you think??

I've created the rest of the card with a red base, layer of brown, some Maja Designs paper and die cut the curve of the front with a border die.  I've created the top by cutting some brown card with Scalloped Rectangles die and trimmed to size and topped with a red ribbon.  Finally I've stamped the sentiment from Summer Berries added some enamel dots.

Stamps - Summer Berries (Power Poppy)
Ink - Memento Rich Cocoa, Catherine Pooler Icing on the Cake, Tim Holtz Scattered Straw
Paper - X-press It Blending card, Maja Designs Life in the Country Paper, Red, Brown
Accessories - Simply Dies Borders, Divinity Designs Scalloped Rectangles, Urban Artist Stencil, Blender Brush, Red Ribbon, Enamel Dots

Ready for some super sweet creations?  Check out these blogs and leave a little love!

That's all from me today, there's another day of sneak peeks tomorrow so I hope you join us then!  Thanks for visiting and hope you are inspired to stamp!  :)

Strong and Beautiful

Hello Everyone!  It's Day 3 of the sneak peeks at Power Poppy!!  The latest addition to the Enchanted Garden collection is..... Strong and Beautiful.  And beautiful it is!!  With a stunning large floral arrangement complimented with two smaller accent pieces and a range of celebratory sentiments, this set is bound to be a go to!

http://powerpoppy.com/products/strong-and-beautiful

So I decided to focus on the two smaller accent images and give them a moment to shine.  I've die cut a rectangle of X-press It Blending Card with Double Stitched Rectangles Die and stamped the Hellebore (Lenten Rose) in Rich Cocoa ink and then masked it and stamped the fern frond all around it.  I've also used the sentiment from Strong and Beautiful and I've then coloured this panel with Copics and then added a little pencil as well.

My card is created with a base of green, topped with cream and some Golden Grove paper.  Around this is a piece of golden brown ribbon.  I've added another piece of Golden Grove paper and then added the diecut 'brickwall' made with kraft card and Texture 4 Die.  My coloured feature panel has been matted with kraft card and popped up on foam tape and I've finished with a few chocolate pearls.

Stamps - Strong and Beautiful (Power Poppy)
Ink - Memento Rich Cocoa, Catherine Pooler Icing on the Cake
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Green, Kraft, Kaisercraft Golden Grove Paper Pad
Accessories - Paper Rose Texture 4 Die, Divinity Designs Double Stitched Rectangle Die, Brown Ribbon, Kaisercraft Chocolate Pearls

There's so much more to see by hopping on over to these blogs....

That's all from me today, there's more coming in the release so hope you'll pop by and visit tomorrow!  Thanks for visiting and hope you are inspired to stamp!!  :)

Hello Everyone!  It's Day 2 of the Enchanted Garden Power Poppy Release!  Today we are showcasing another new clear stamp set called Woodland Carpet!  This beautiful set includes two larger images and three smaller images along with a range of sentiments which would be suitable for either masculine or feminine cards.

I've created my card with a base of cream, layered with rust coloured card.  I've diecut some light brown card with Divine Eloquence and glued this on top of these layers.  Next I've stamped the image from Woodland Carpet in Rich Cocoa onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics.  I've diecut the coloured image with Labels 28 and finished off the sky and soil while it was still in the die and then attached it to the top of the card.  Finally I stamped the sentiment from Woodland Carpet onto white card die cut it and popped it up on foam tape.

Stamps - Woodland Carpet (Power Poppy)

Big Sexy Blooms!

Hello Everyone!  Have I got news for you!!  Power Poppy is releasing a new range of clear stamps called the Enchanted Garden Collection!  There are FIVE beautiful new sets to make you gasp and grab your favourite colouring medium and get creating!  Today we are sneak peeking Big Sexy Blooms which will be available (along with the other four sets) on July 1st.

Ever since I was little I've loved daisies and this bold background beauty of Gerbera Daisies speaks to my soul!  I've stamped Big Sexy Blooms in Icing on the Cake ink onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with a whole lot of Copics.  I decided to let the background shine and accent it with a punched border......which I had nearly completed when my FAVOURITE border punch broke.  I honestly nearly cried.  SIGH!  So I started over with a different border punch to do the edge.  I've then added a layer of white and then trimmed my Big Sexy Blooms layer to size and wrapped a piece of white ribbon around it.  I've been a bit sneaky and added a sentiment from another new set - Strong and Beautiful - but you have to wait until Friday to hear all about that set!!  :)  I've stamped that also in Icing on the Cake ink, die cut with Pierced Circles and layered with Circles dies and popped it up on foam tape.

Stamps - Big Sexy Blooms, Strong and Beautiful (Power Poppy)
Ink - Catherine Pooler Icing on the Cake
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, White, Blue
Accesories - Divinity Designs Pierced Circles and Circles Dies, Blue Ribbon, Lattice Border Punch, X-press It Foam Tape

There's LOTS of inspiration for you today, so pop on by these blogs and see what the girls have been creating!

That's all from me today, pop back tomorrow for another amazing set to drool over!!  Thanks for visiting and hope you are inspired to stamp!!  :)

Time for Graduation!

Hello Everyone!  This month Divinity Designs is all about Fathers Day and GRADUATION!!  I was SO EXCITED to see Graduation products coming out for May because my first born will be graduating Grade 12 this year - although here in Australia that means in November, so I will have plenty of time to create a range of things to celebrate this big occasion!

So what new goodies am I using today?  There are two new stamp sets with a Graduation theme and I have The Future!  I'm also using the new Grad Dies and Weathered Wood Paper Collection!

I guess because I have a son graduating, I aimed for a more masculine themed Graduation Card. I've used the Vintage Label Flip Fold with Layers for the base using black card and cut the Weathered Wood paper with the Layers Dies.  I've stamped the sentiments from The Future in the top and bottom corners.  I've used the largest Vintage Label die from the same set to cut a piece of silver for the front.  Then used a piece of white card, the next sized Vintage Label Die from the same set and then the Double Pierced Vintage Labels Die to cut the middle to create the frame for the front and the cut out piece for the middle. I've cut black card using the Grad Dies for the words on the front and cap in the middle (the tassel is cut of silver).  The numbers are cut using Long and Lean Numbers and the Apostrophe from Long and Lean Letters.  I've stamped the inside sentiment from The Future and then finished with a few black rhinestones.

Stamps - The Future (DD)
Ink - Black
Paper - Divinity Designs Weathered Wood, Black, Silver, White
Accessories - Divinity Designs Dies: Long and Lean Numbers, Long and Lean Letters (apostrophe), Vintage Label Flip Fold with Layers, Grad, Double Pierced Vintage Labels; Black Rhinestones
For my second project, I've made a Gift Card Holder!  I've used the Gift Card Holder Die to cut black card for the base, topped with some red card and then cut the decorative white panel using the filigree panel also from Gift Card Holder Die Set.  I've cut the Cap using Grad Dies out of black and gold card.  Next I've stamped the sentiment from The Future in black onto white card, die cut with Pennant Flags Dies and matted with black card cut with Double Stitched Pennant Flags.  Perfect for the little gift for the new Graduate!

Stamps - The Future (DD)
Ink - Black
Paper - Black, Red, White, Gold
Accessories - Divinity Designs Die: Grad, Gift Card Holder, Pennant Flags, Double Stitched Pennant Flags

A Sweet 15!

Hello Everyone!  Today I have a card for my niece Heidi who is turning 15 in a few days!  I love these new Long and Lean Letters and Long and Lean Numbers by Divinity Designs, they are just perfect for personalising and great for creating teen cards!

I've used a white base topped with aqua cut with Snowflake Sky, a layer of deep pink card and then Romantic Roses Paper cut with Rectangles Dies.  Next I've cut the name out of deep pink card using Long and Lean Letters and assembled them across the bottom.  (I love how you can fit a name across a vertical card because these letters are so skinny!)  I've added a piece of silver ribbon across the top and then cut a heart out of deep pink (I've used the die from Festive Favors here) and then the numbers out of white using Long and Lean Numbers.

Stamps - NONE
Ink - NONE
Paper - DD Romantic Roses, White, Deep Pink, Aqua
Accessories - DD Dies: Long and Lean Letters, Long and Lean Numbers, Festive Favors, Snowflake Sky, Rectangles; Silver Ribbon, Glue

I've used a neutral base and layered with medium pink and hot pink, topping that with some fun paper from the Beautiful Blooms Paper Pad.  I've added a strip of light gold paper across the middle.  I've cut a cream piece of card with Squares dies and matted with medium pink card cut with Scalloped Squares, adhered together and then used a smaller Sqaures die to cut the middle out to create a frame and added that to the middle.  I've then used Long and Lean Letters to cut the name out of medium pink card and glued them as shown.  Hope she likes it!

Hello Everyone!  Today I have a Center Step Card using the latest stamp set released by Divinity Designs called Grandmother's Heart.  This set has a floral image and a selection of sentiments for Mothers and Grandmothers......just in time for Mother's Day!  :)

I've used cream for my base and cut it with Center Step Card Die.  Next I've used the Center Step Layers to cut some Pretty Pink Peonies Collection paper.  I've used Scalloped Ovals to cut cream card for the next layer.  I've stamped the image from Grandmother's Heart in black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured it with Copics.  I've kept part of the image outside the Ovals die and added a shim to prevent it cutting (but my Grand Calibur got pretty close I have to say!) and trimmed those leaves up.  I've stamped the sentiment also from Grandmother's Heart in black and then sponged some Antique Linen ink around the edges.  I've popped the oval panel up on foam tape.

I've stamped this big beauty of an image from Artistic Bouquet onto X-press It Blending Card and then die cut it with Pierced Rectangles Die and then set to colouring it all with Copics!  I always need lots of birthday cards at this time of year (well most times of the year really, but particularly in May and June), so I've used the Birthday Blessings sentiment, also from Artistic Bouquet.  I've matted this with white and put it on an aqua base and finished with a few rhinestones for a bit of sparkle!

Hello Everyone!  Today I have some fun projects using some of the latest stamps and dies by Divinity Designs!!  These sweet treat ideas have been created using Divinity Designs new Test Tube Treats Dies and matching Test Tubes Large (there are shorter ones available if you prefer).

These come together in a snap, cutting some cream card with the Test Tube Treats Dies and then using the layering dies (which are part of the same set along with sentiment tags and a bow) to cut some Latte Love Paper.  I've stamped the sentiment from Treat Tag Sentiments 2, cut it with Circles Dies and matted with cream cut with Scalloped Circles Dies.  I've filled the Test Tubes Large
with some coffee - the perfect gift for a latte lover!

Paper - DD Latte Love Paper Pad, Cream, White
Ink - Black
Accessories - DD Dies: Test Tube Treats Dies, Circles Dies, Scalloped Circles Dies; Test Tubes Large, Foam Tape

I've made another project today, this time using cream card cut with Test Tube Treats Dies and then created the layers using the same die set and the Spring Flowers Collection 2019 paper.  Now I did make a bow using the dies and then realised I had the large Test Tubes not the small ones so it's been obscured (sorry about that!).  I've filled the Test Tubes Large with some Crispy M&M's, stamped the sentiment from Treat Tag Sentiments 2 in black and cut it out with one of the dies from Test Tube Treats Dies and attached it with some twine.

Divinity Designs Color Combo!

Hello Everyone!  This month the Divinity Designs team have been challenged to another Color Combo, this time using Pastel Yellow, Pastel Blue and Pastel Lavender.  I thought it would be fun to make a Gable Box that can be used for a sweet treat!

I've used some pastel blue card and Glorious Gable Box Dies to create the box.  I've then cut the flower with Hibiscus Dies using cream card and then airbrushed it while it was still in the die with Copic Y11 to create some pastel yellow petals and then glued the pieces together.  For the lavender, I've added a bow and then cut some lavender card with Scalloped Rectangles.  I've stamped the sentiment from Birdhouse in black onto cream card, cut it out with Rectangles Dies, attached it to the scalloped panel and popped the panel up on foam tape.

Stamps - Birdhouse
Ink - Black
Paper - Blue, Cream, Lavender
Accessories - DD Dies: Glorious Gable Box, Asters and Leaves, Scalloped Rectangles, Rectangles; Lavender Ribbon, Rhinestone, Foam Tape

You can find the links to all the other challenge creations today on the Divinity Designs Blog!

That's all from me today, thanks for popping by and hope you are inspired to stamp!  :)

Easter Tulips

Hello Everyone!  Today we are having a look at the latest offerings from Divinity Designs and I've got this lovely Easter set featuring tulips called Glorious Easter and I've paired it up with the new Scalloped die sets that match all the basic shapes currently available.

My first card, I've used Glorious Easter to stamp the tulips all around the edge of some Blending Card that had been cut with Rectangles and then coloured them with Copics.  I've framed it with the new Spring Flowers 2019 Paper cut with Scalloped Rectangles.  I've stamped the sentiment also from Glorious Easter, cut with Ovals and once again matted with paper from Spring Flowers 2019 this time cut with Scalloped Ovals and popped up on foam tape.  I've added this to a white card base and added a few rhinestones for sparkle.

My second card I've gone PINK!  This time I've used a pink base, matted with white and topped with
Spring Flowers 2019 Paper.  Then added a strip of pink topped with more Spring Flowers 2019 Paper.  Around this I've attached some white ribbon.  Next I've stamped the tulips from Glorious Easter onto Blending Card, coloured with Copics adding a little pencil and die cut with Ovals, matting with pink card cut with Scalloped Ovals and popped up on foam tape.  Finally I've stamped the sentiment from Glorious Easter and cut with  Pierced Circles and also popped it up on foam tape.
