Found Mushrooms

Hello Everyone!  It's Good Vibe Friday over at Power Poppy and today I've been using one of the newest Power Poppy clear stamps called Wild Mushrooms!  There was something about these Pinwheel Mushrooms that got me - they are just so pretty and delicate and I can just imagine some fairies hanging out underneath!

I've used a base of brown card (trying to keep with an earthy theme) and layered with some River Rock and topped with a piece of Graphic 45 DP.  Down one side I've added a piece of cream card topped with hessian ribbon (burlap).  I've stamped the mushrooms from Wild Mushrooms in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics.  I've cut them out with Small Ovals dies and layered with River Rock cut with Large Ovals dies and popped it up on foam tape.  I've stamped the sentiment onto a leftover piece of blending card and cut into a notched tag.  To finish I've added a couple of rustic-y type buttons.

Stamps - Wild Mushrooms (Power Poppy)
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Chocolate Chip, River Rock, Cream, Graphic 45 DP
Accessories - Copics, Spellbinders Large and Small Oval Nestabilities, X-press It Foam Tape, Hessian Ribbon, Scissors, Buttons

Deep Breath

Hello Everyone!!  It's Power Poppy Friday and I'm kicking off the weekend with a peaceful card for you using a new digi stamp by Power Poppy called Take A Deep Breath.  I love this serene image and that sentiment is just perfect with it!

I've printed the image and sentiment from Take A Deep Breath on X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics.  I've die cut this with Pierced Rectangles and then added a little sparkle across the bottom with some Glitter Deco Tape.  The card base is made of purple card layered with white, some soft pretty paper and another layer of white punched with Threading Water border punch (rather apt I thought).

Stamps - Take A Deep Breath (Power Poppy)
Ink - Printer
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Wisteria Wonder, White, MFT Watercolor Wash DP
Accessories - Copics, ODBD Pierced Rectangles Die, Fiskars Threading Water Border Punch, X-press It Glitter Deco Tape

Get Well Soon!

Hello Everyone!  Having a little look back at the August release by Our Daily Bread Designs with some fabulous stamps and dies perfect for Get Well Cards!  I was particularly intrigued by this Crutch Die - as someone who ended up on crutches less than 2yrs ago, I totally relate to how it feels to receive a little kindness in the mail.

For my first card I used the Side Step Card Die to cut some cream card and then the Side Step Layers to cut pieces of Shabby Pastels Paper Pad.  To create the accent pieces, I've used the Crutch Die and Bandages Dies.  The sentiments have been stamped using the new Get Well Wishes stamp set and die cut with Pennant Flags die.

Stamps - Get Well Wishes (ODBD)
Ink - Sugared Lavender, Antique Linen
Paper - ODBD Shabby Pastels Paper Pad, Cream, Silver
Accessories - ODBD Dies: Side Step Card, Side Step Layers, Crutch, Bandages, Pennant Flags

My second project I've used a base of blue, die cut some cream with Lavish Layers, added another layer of blue card, more cream cut with Lavish Layers and topped with a piece of Old Glory Paper.  I've stamped the sentiment from Get Well Wishes onto cream card and die cut with Pennant Flags die.  I've die cut cream and silver card using the Crutch Die to make a pair of crutches, using the cream pieces for the armrests, handles and stopped bottoms.  To finish I've accented with some enamel dots.

Stamps - Get Well Wishes (ODBD)
Ink - Daydream
Paper - ODBD Old Glory Paper; cream, blue
Accessories - ODBD Dies: Lavish Layers, Pennant Flags, Crutch; enamel dots

The Breadsticks have some wonderful projects to share with you today and you can find them on the ODBD blog, web pages, ODBD Gallery, Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram.

Thanks for visiting today and hope you are inspired to stamp!  :)

You've Got This!

Hello Everyone!  It's the first Friday of the month and that means it's time for another Power and Spark Challenge!!  This month our hostess is the lovely Cindy Lawrence who has challenged us to be Inspired by Home!  Don't forget, if you play along following the rules on the Power Poppy Blog, you could WIN A $50 Power Poppy Shopping Spree!!!!

I have to admit, I've been a bit liberal with my interpretation and focussed on the colours of my 11yr old daughter's room which is pinks, greens and a splash of purple.  Sorry I can't show you a picture - you REALLY don't want to see that right now!!!

I've used a base of pink card, layered with white and topped with some Maja Designs DP.  Across this is some white punched with a  border punch and topped with the reverse side of the same paper.  I've stamped and masked this floral bouquet using Abundant Petals onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (RV00, RV32, RV34, RV66, G40, G43, G46, E11, E42, E44, E47).  I've fussy cut this (although in hindsight I really should have just stamped the individual bits and die cut them all!  Heads up - the matching dies are out of stock at the moment but should be back soon!) and popped it up on foam tape.  I've stamped the sentiment from M-Powering Words clear stamp set in Versafine Black.

This was a fairly quick card because I was in a bit of a hurry to make a card for someone who needed a little uplifting!

Stamps - Abundant Petals, M-Powering Words (Power Poppy)
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Versafine Black
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Pink, White, Maja Designs DP
Accessories - Copics, MS Border Punch, X-press It Foam Tape

What even more inspiration for this month's challenge??  Check out the below blogs!!

That's all from me today, thanks for popping by and hope you're inspired to play along with the challenge this month with your chance to WIN!!!  Can't wait to see what you make!!  :)
