The Plans I Have

Hello Everyone!!!  Today I was playing with the new clear stamp set by JustRite called Cast All Your Cares - it's a set of 7 including this fabby border and matching frame along with 4 sentiments and a flower!!  I'm actually shocked at myself that I didn't use the flower, but this is just the way it flowed!  :)
I've used a base of white, layered with pink bazzill and then layered again with X-press It Blending Card.  Next I've stamped the border at the top and bottom of the Blending Card and coloured with Copic Markers (R81, G20).  Then I've measured the space in between and cut a piece of Echo Park Yours Truly DP to fit and wrapped a piece of ribbon around it.  The frame was stamped in Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (R81, R85, G21, G24), then stamped the sentiment, also from Cast All Your Cares, and cut with Labels 16.  I've framed it with another Labels 16 die cut, white sponged with Angel Pink ink and popped it all up on foam tape.  To finish I've added a couple of pearl flourishes around the sentiment and along the border.

Stamps - Cast All Your Cares (JustRite)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, White, Pink, Echo Park Yours Truly DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Angel Pink
Accessories - Copics, Labels 16 Nestabilities, Pearl Flourish, Pearls, Foam Tape.

That's all from me today, thanks for visiting and hope you are Inspired to Stamp!!  :)

At The Beach

Hello Everyone!!!  Once again the JR team are going beach side - this time it's with the new stamp set called At The Beach!!  Here in Australia it is still Summer and the beaches will still be perfect for swimming for at least another month, for my Northern Hemisphere friends, perhaps this set will put you in the mood for Summer and add a little warmth to your days!
As you can see I've done two projects - one is a tile, the other a tag!  I've taken a cheap, basic tile and stamped it in Brilliance ink and then heat set it in the oven.  Once it was cooled, I coloured it with my Copics and then added a few layers of sealant over the top.  (This is not for use permanently on a bathroom floor or wall - I'm using it as a coaster!)
Next I made a tag to match using the same At The Beach set!  I've cut the tag out and stamped the small border stamp along the top and bottom and then added a piece of hemp twine and some matching coloured organdy ribbon.  The sentiment is stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa, cut with Large Circle Nestabilities and matted with some Aqua bazzill cut with Eyelet Circle Nestabilities and popped up on foam tape.  I've then stamped a couple of shells, coloured them with Copics and cut them out and glued them to the tag!
Stamps - At The Beach (JustRite)
Paper - White
Ink - Brilliance (tile), Memento Rich Cocoa and Cantelope (tag)
Accessories - Copics, Tile, Tag Die, Large Circle and Eyelet Circle Nestabilities, Hemp Twine, Organdy Ribbon, Foam Tape.

There are so many amazing creations made by the JR team today.....

Oceanside Lighthouse

Hello Everyone!!!  My post is a little late due to my computer having a meltdown at the most inopportune moment - has that happened to you??????  Anyway, it seems to be happy at the moment!  Today I'm showcasing the new JustRite set called Oceanside Oval Medallion Labels stamp set - full of wonderful ocean themed stamps (which would also be perfect for those difficult MAN cards!!!).

This card is really quick to make and thought it would be a good one to have in my Masculine stash - I never seem to have enough!  The base is Chocolate Chip and some blue bazzill, topped with Very Vanilla that I've stamped the crab all over in Memento Desert Sand.  Next is another piece of blue, punched with the EK Success Dotted Wave punch and topped with more Vanilla, this time stamped with Ticking Stripe BG stamp in Desert Sand.  Around this is some May Arts Mesh (I really need to find some more of this stuff!!), topped with a piece of striped knotted ribbon from which I've hung an anchor charm.  My focal image is from Oceanside and has been stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (E31, E33, E35, E50).  I've cut it out with the matching JustRite Nested Oval Medallion Dies and matted with a piece of Chocolate Chip cut with Labels 18 Nestabilities and all popped up on foam tape.  To finish I've stamped the sentiment in Rich Cocoa at the bottom and added a couple of silver pearls to the top corner!

Stamps - Oceanside Oval Medallion Labels, Ticking Stripe Background (JustRite)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Chocolate Chip, Blue Bazzill, Very Vanilla
Ink - Memento Rich Cocoa, Memento Desert Sand

Easter Blessings

***If you are looking for the ODBD Hop, please scroll down***
Hello and welcome to the JustRite Stampers Blog Hop featuring the brand new CLEAR set called Easter Blessings!!!  Perfect for and just in time for Easter, full of beautiful images and wonderful sentiments.
I've made a quick, easy card that I could make a few of without taking a long time - I don't know about you, but lately time is a precious commodity!!  I've used a base of white and layered with Pumpkin Pie and then another piece of white embossed with Swiss Dots EF.  Down the side I've added a piece of white crochet lace topped with soft green satin ribbon.  Next I've created a notched tag and stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black, sponged a little Tangelo around it and topped with a bow.  The frame and cross image from Easter Blessings are two separate stamps, however I've stamped them together in Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured it with Copics (YR12, YR16, YR18, E51, E53, E55, YG11, YG13, YG17, Y21, BG0000).  It's been cut out using JustRite Nested Oval Medallion Dies, framed with Pumpkin Pie cut with Lacey Oval Nestabilities and popped up on foam tape.  Finally I've added a couple of clear rhinestones to the top corner.

Stamps - Easter Blessings (JustRite)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Pumpkin Pie, White.
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Tangelo
Accessories - Copics, Nested Oval Medallion Dies, Lacey Oval Nestabilities, Swiss Dots EF, White Crochet Lace, Green Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Clear Rhinestones, Foam Tape.

Sweet Peas Birthday

Hello Everyone!!  Recently I was asked by a friend to make a card for her MIL's 80th Birthday - the theme was burgundy and apparently she loves Sweet Peas.  I thought this gorgeous Sweet Peas image by Flourishes would be perfect!  Instead of making them all a dark pink/burgundy colour, I went with a range of very pale pinks to deep pink for the flowers.

The base is made of deep pink bazzill and layered with white and topped with some SEI DP.  Across this is more white topped with more SEI and then wrapped some white crochet lace and burgundy ribbon around it.  The Sweet Peas have been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copic Markers (YG11, YG13, YG17, RV000, RV00, RV32, RV34, R81, R83, R85, R89).  This is a big image, so I've cut it out with Grand Circle Nestabilities and matted with the Grand Scallop Circle Nestabilities and popped it up on foam tape.  The sentiment is from Flourishes' Tag Lines set and has been cut out using Fancy Tags Shapeabilities.  I the corners I've added a few Kasiercraft Snow Pearls.

So are you wondering what on earth was I thinking using that silver cord at top??
Because this card is for a special event and needs to be written in by a lot of people, I've folded several sheets of paper inside and tied them with the silver cord, so it's sort of like a book!  :)

Stamps - Sweet Peas, Tag Lines (Flourishes)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Deep Pink Bazzill, White, SEI DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Angel Pink
Accessories - Copics, Grand Circle and Grand Scallop Circle Nestabilities, Fancy Tags Shapeabilities, White Crochet Lace, Burgundy Ribbon, Kaisercraft Snow Pearls, Foam Tape.

That's all from me today, thanks for visiting and hope you are Inspired to Stamp!!  :)

Happy 10th Birthday!!!

Hello Everyone!!!  Today we are celebrating my son's 10th Birthday!!  I can't believe my firstborn is 10 already!!!  Where did that time go?  It seems like yesterday that he was a baby and now is growing into a smart, sensitive, thoughtful, wonderful young man!!  Happy Birthday Zac - we are so proud of you!!!

The card is made of a base of black and layered with white and some Echo Park Happy Days DP.  The middle panel is more black and topped with more Happy Days DP.  The feature panel is black cut with Large Circle Nestabilities, White cut with Large Pinking Circle Nestabilities and Blue cut with Labels 16 Nestabilities.  The numbers are from a really old SU set called Headline Numbers, that I will never get rid of because they are perfect for those difficult masculine card (apparently there is to be no more cutesy stuff because he's too cool!).  :)  I've added a couple of little black Want2Scrap rhinestones to the corners otherwise it just seemed too bare!
