From My Heart

Hello Everyone!!  I had fun creating today's card using a few new toys by JustRite!  My background isn't paper, but rather the new Elegant Damask Background Stamp and the beautiful feature panel is from the new Antique Valentine Tags One.

I've started with a base of Very Vanilla and layered with Riding Hood Red.  Next I took another piece of Vanilla and stamped the Elegant Damask Background in Memento Desert Sand.  I've taken a piece of Chocolate Chip and cut it out with Decorative Labels 8 Nestabilities and then used Small Oval Nestabilities to cut a window in the middle and then popped it all up on X-press It High Tack Foam Tape.  I've stamped the frame from Antique Valentine Tags One in Memento Rhubarb Stalk and the sentiment in Memento Rich Cocoa and then cut it out with the matching die from JustRite's Antique Tags One die set.  I've then framed this with red cut with Spellbinders Fancy Framed Tags 2 die.  I've then created some flowers using Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms die set and finished with a couple of Kaisercraft Red Pearls.

Stamps - Antique Valentine Tags One, Elegant Damask Background (JustRite)
Paper - Very Vanilla, Riding Hood Red, Chocolate Chip
Ink - Memento Desert Sand, Rhubarb Stalk, Rich Cocoa
Accessories - JustRite Antique Valentine Tags One, Spellbinders Fancy Framed Tags 2, Decorative Labels 8, Bitty Blossoms, Kaisercraft Red Pearls, X-press It High Tack Foam Tape

Thinking of You!

Hello Everyone!!  Today I was feeling in the mood for some PINK (can you tell?  LOL!!!).  I also had the opportunity to play with some new JustRite goodies in the form of Hugs and Kisses Sentiments and Victorian Tile Background stamps and who doesn't like new toys!?!  :)

I've used a base of pink bazzill and layered with white.  Next I took another piece of the pink bazzill and stamped the Victorian Tile Background onto the smooth side in Versamark ink and embossed it with white embossing powder.  The vertical panel is made up of white (punched both sides with Fiskars Upper Crest Border Punch) and layered with Kraft and white stamped with Victorian Tile Background in Memento Angel Pink ink.  The circle frame and sentiment are both from JustRite's Hugs and Kisses Sentiments set, the frame stamped in Angel Pink and the sentiment stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa.  I've cut it out with Small Circle Nestabilities, matted it with Kraft cut with Large Circle Nestabilities and matted again with pink cut with Lacey Circle Nestabilities and popped the who panel up on foam tape.  Across the bottom I've added some May Arts White Crochet Lace and topped it with pink satin ribbon.  To finish I've added a pink bow and some white pearls to the top corners.

Stamps - Hugs and Kisses Sentiments, Victorian Tile Background (JustRite)
Paper - Pink Bazzill, White, Kraft
Ink - Versamark, Memento Angel Pink, Memento Rich Cocoa

You are the Best!

Hello Everyone!  Today I've made a quick fun card which would work well for a male!  We all know how difficult those dreaded MAN CARDS can be!!  This one comes together in a snap, still has some ribbon and bling, but not so much that it's girly!!  :)

I've created my base with Grand Labels 23 Nestabilities (yes, I admit I've become rather addicted to these dies!!) and white card, then cut another piece of white to cover the front.  Then I decided that I didn't like the white, so I airbrushed it with BG11!!  Hee Hee!!!  (I'm also addicted to my Copics and Airbrush!).  The next panel is made of dark blue bazzill and layered with some MME Bluebell DP.  Around this I've wrapped some white and very dark blue grosgrain ribbons.  The feature panel is from JustRite's new Premium Labels and has been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (B23, B000, BG11).  It's been cut out with the matching JustRite Antique Labels One Die.  I've popped this up on foam tape and added a couple of pewter pearls to the corners.

Stamps - Premium Labels (JustRite)
Paper - White, Blue Bazzill, MME Bluebell DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - JustRite Antique Labels One Dies, Grand Labels 23 Nestabilities, Copics, White and Blue Grosgrain Ribbons, Kaisercraft Pewter Pearls, Foam Tape

Well, that's all from me for today, thanks for visiting and hope you are inspired to stamp!  :)

If you've made your way here from Deb's Blog, then you are on the right track, if not, you can catch all the inspiration by starting at the ODBD Blog!

I've made my creation using a piece of  heavy weight paper by MME that I found deep in my stash.  I've used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the free template out of the paper and adhered it all together.  Around the top I've attached some white organdy ribbon and red satin ribbon.  The tag stamp is from Mistletoe Tag Set and has been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics.  The sentiment is from the same set and stamped into the middle.  The tag has been cut out with the co-ordinating Tag Die by ODBD.  I've cut a piece of Riding Hood Red with Labels 20 Nestabilities, glued the two together and then used a 1/4" hole punch for the top.  To finish I've used some red satin ribbon to knot the top of the tag.

Stamps - Mistletoe Tag Set (ODBD)
Paper - Riding Hood Red, Blending Card, MME DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - ODBD Tag Die, Labels 20, Silhouette Machine and template, 1/4" Hole Punch, Copics, Red Satin Ribbon, White Organdy Ribbon.

The next destination on today's hop is the lovely and wonderfully talented.......Silke!!

The Golden Wattle

Hello Everyone!  Today is Create With Me Monday over on the Flourishes Blog and I've got a tutorial on how to colour this beautiful Wattle flower image!  Of course I'm a little partial to the fluffy Wattle since it is the National Floral Emblem of Australia and also the inspiration for my username over at Splitcoaststampers!  :)

The card itself is made of Old Olive card and layered with Very Vanilla (pierced) and topped with some Kaisercraft Great Southern Land SA paper.  Over this is a piece of Kasiercraft Great Southern Land NT paper matted with Old Olive.  The flag strip is from the bottom of the same paper.  The Wattle has been stamped and coloured with Copics (see the Flourishes Blog for details).  It's been cut out with Labels 25 and matted with Old Olive cut with Labels 23.  The sentiment has been stamped and made into a double notched tag and attached across the bottom.

That's all from me today, thanks for visiting!  :)
