Birthday Fun!

Hello Everyone!!  Today we are having a peek at the February releases by ODBD and I've used The Giving Gift Box Die, All God's Blessings Stamp/Die Duo and A Gift For You die set!

For my first project, I'm using The Giving Gift Box Die to create the box and top panel along with some Birthday Bash Collection paper.  The fabby sentiment die is from A Gift For You and cut out of red card to make it pop!  The image is from All God's Blessings Stamp/Die Duo, so I've stamped the image in black onto blending card and coloured with Copics, die cut with the matching die and then added some dots of Nuvo Crystal Drops and popped it all up on foam tape.

Stamps - All God's Blessings Stamp/Die Duo
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper - Birthday Bash Collection Paper, Cream, Red
Accessories - ODBD Dies: The Giving Gift Box, A Gift For You, All God's Blessings Stamp/Die Duo; Copics, Adhesives, Nuvo Crystal Drops - Buttermilk

Next I've made this fun party bag!  I've cut the bag base using the Card Caddy and Gift Bag Die Set and some cream card.  The topper has been cut using Birthday Bash Collection paper and the Gift Bag Handles and Topper Dies.  I've added a strip of blue topped with some Glitter Deco Tape for a bit of sparkle across the bottom.  Next I've stamped a couple of cupcakes from All God's Blessings and coloured with Copics - then stamped the bases onto some Birthday Bash paper, fussy cut and glued over the top and then adhered these to the bag front.  Finally, I've stamped the sentiment from the same set, die cut with Layered Lacy Ovals and then airbrushed with a bit of B41 Copic.

Stamps - All God's Blessings Stamp/Die Duo
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper - ODBD Birthday Bash Collection, Cream, Marina Mist, X-press It Blending Card
Accessories - ODBD Dies: Card Caddy and Gift Bag, Gift Bag Handles and Topper, All God's Blessings Stamp/Die Duo, Layered Lacy Ovals; Copics, X-press It Foam Tape, Glue, X-press It Glitter Deco Tape

Sixteen!

Hello Everyone!  It's Birthday week in the Jones House with 4 close family birthdays in 5 days!  As you can imagine, there's a lot going on right now!  The first cab off the rank is my son Zac, who turned 16 this week!  16!  I can't believe he's getting so big (in fact he's 6 feet 1 inch now!) and now looking to get his learner driver permit!  EEEEEP!!!!  Of course that means that I was faced with the dreaded MAN CARD so I decided to make the 16 the feature of the card along with some fun sneaker and star paper.

I've used a base of Marina Mist, layered with River Rock and topped with Maja Designs Denim and Friends paper.  I've added another strip of Marina Mist across it and then created another panel of Chocolate Chip, Marina Mist and more Maja Designs paper.  Under this I've tucked a couple of notched tags in So Saffron and River Rock.  I've cut the star of So Saffron using a large star die and made the 16 out of River Rock using Large Number Dies - airbrushing a little Copic E84 while in the die for some shading.  I've cut the name using an old Spellbinders alphabet that would fit the space.

Stamps - NONE!
Ink - NONE
Paper - Maja Designs Denim and Friends, Marina Mist, River Rock, So Saffron, Chocolate Chip
Accessories - ODBD Large Number Dies, Spellbinders Star, Upper Case Font Alphabet

That's all from me today, thanks for popping by and hope you are inspired to stamp.....or die cut!  :)

Hello Everyone!  Today we have lots of Gift Giving Goodness for you care of the brand new release by Our Daily Bread Designs!  These new dies are SO MUCH FUN!!!  Seriously!  Let me introduce you to Gift Card Holder Dies, The Giving Gift Box Dies and All God's Blessings (Stamp and Die Duo)!

Inside the Gift Card Holder!

They are super easy to make and I know I'll be using these A LOT!!  For both projects I've used yellow and blue card and The Giving Gift Box Dies and the Gift Card Holder Dies and glued the pieces together to construct.  The Cupcake is from All God's Blessings (Stamp and Die Duo) and has been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and the icing coloured with Copics and die cut.  Then, I've stamped the bases onto Birthday Bash Collection Paper and fussy cut them to glue over the top.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set and has been die cut with Pennant Flags Dies.  Easy right!

It's Back To School Time

Hello Everyone!  It's that time again - the very first day of the new school year here in Australia!  My daughter is in Grade 5 this year and had to have a notebook for her classes ---- so we decided to decorate it a little bit so it won't get confused with anyone elses!!  (I think we achieved the aim!) LOL!

For this project, we've taken a Spirax notebook, covered it with some green spotty paper from my stash and stuck it down with some X-press It High Tack Double Sided Tape.  Then I've adhered some schoolish type paper also from my stash and put that in the middle.  We've added a little shine with some Gold Foil Deco Tape top and bottom of the middle panel.  Next I've taken some X-press It Adhesive Sheets, peeled off one side and stuck it to some Blending Card and die cut it with a Spellbinders Alphabet for the name.  Then I peeled off the other side of the Adhesive sheet and covered the letters with Scarlet Microfine Glitter and glued the letters to the top of the notebook.  Finally I die cut the Apple and A+ using ODBD's A+ Apples Dies.
I surprised Ally with a little extra decorating inside using Power Poppy's Small But Mighty Affirmations - I thought this sentiment was perfect!

Stamps - Small But Mighty Affirmations (Power Poppy)
Ink - Rhubarb Stalk, Dandelion
Paper - Random paper from my stash
Accessories - X-press It: Adhesive Sheets, Scarlet Microfine Glitter, Foil Deco Tape, High Take Double Sided Tape, 2in1 Glue, Clear Gel Glue, Blending Card; ODBD A+ Apples Dies, Spellbinders Alphabet Die

Grateful

Hello Everyone!  Today we are having a peek back at the latest release by ODBD!  I just love this stamp and die combo called Hello Friend with it's variety of useful sentiments for all occasions!!  I also love this awesome Card Caddy and Gift Bag Die released last month and just can't stop using it!  :)

I've used cream card to create the bag and handles using Card Caddy and Gift Bag Dies.  I've then cut two rectangles using the pretty new Romantic Roses Paper Pad.  I've then used Gift Bag Handles and Topper Dies to cut the solid paper to create the topper on the bag.  I've stamped the flowers, buds, leaves and sentiment from Hello Friend onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured the images with Copics (RV000, RV91, RV93, RV95, Y21, G40, G43, G46).  I've die cut these with the matching dies from Hello Friend and attached as shown.  I've die cut the sentiment (which is two separate sentiments that match together) with Double Stitched Circles Dies and popped it up on foam tape.
