Thanks Mr Lindsay!

Hello Everyone!  This is a crazy time of year here in Australia, especially if you have children at school!  Not only are we preparing for Christmas, but it is also the end of the school year!  My daughter has just completed Year 5 (AND has been announced Strings Captain for 2019 - that is Captain of the Strings Orchestra at her school) and as a thank you, I made a card for her teacher that was big enough to fit a long gift voucher inside.

I've used a royal blue card, layered with white and topped with some blue and white striped paper.  The next layer is more blue topped with the reverse of the paper in blue stars.  To create the front, I've used Wavy Words for the top banner, Alphabet Flags Dies for the name banner and All-Star Jersey for, well, the Jersey!

I'm happy to say Mr Lindsay loved his card - particularly because he favourite football team is the AFL Kangaroos which are Blue and White colours and the jersey is striped!  :)  He was also very happy with the gift voucher!

Stamps - Wavy Words, All-Star Jersey (ODBD)
Paper - Blue, White, Maja Designs DP
Ink - Black
Accessories - ODBD Wavy Words Stamp/Die Duo, All-Star Jersey Stamp/Die Duo, Alphabet Flags Dies; Copics, X-press It Foam Tape

That's all from me today, thanks for visiting and hope you are inspired to stamp!!  :)

Christmas Greenery

Hello Everyone!  I've been playing with the latest goodies released by ODBD for December and it's all about Evergreens!  I started with one card, didn't like the direction it took and then ended up with two!!  I still can't decide which ones I prefer!  :)

I've used the Center Step Card Die to cut the blue base and the Center Step Layers to cut some Christmas Collection 2017 paper.  I've stamped the image from Peaceful Wishes in black ink, coloured with green Copics and then added a blue sky using Daydream ink and Sugared Lavender.  I've cut a gold star using Holy Night Die and cut the image out withe Pierced Ovals.  I've matted this with Layered Lacey Ovals, attached it to the front, stamped the sentiment at the bottom and added some sparkle to the trees.

Stamps: Peaceful Wishes
Paper : ODBD Christmas Collection 2017, blue, white, gold
Ink: Black, Daydream, Sugared Lavender
Accessories: ODBD Dies: Center Step Card, Center Step Layers, Holy Night, Pierced Ovals, Layered Lacey Ovals; glue, Kindyglitz

Next card I've used the Vintage Label Flip Fold Card Die to cut a piece of blue card and the Layers to cut some Winter Collection Paper.  For the front, I've used the larger Label dies to cut a piece of glitter paper and also some soft blue.  I've used Trees and Deer Dies to cut some trees out of green card.  The image from Peaceful Wishes has been stamped in black and I've added a watercolour effect using green ink and a watercolour brush.  I've used some Daydream ink to create the sky.  I've cut this with Double Pierced Vintage Labels and attached it to the front.  The inside panels have been cut out of green and white - also using Peaceful Wishes for the inside.  To finish I've added some clear rhinestones to the corners.

Stamps: Peaceful Wishes
Paper: ODBD Winter Collection, Blue, White, Glitter, Green
Ink: Black, Green, Daydream
Accessories: ODBD Dies: Vintage Label Flip Fold Card and Layers, Double Pierced Vintage Labels, Trees and Deer; Watercolour Brush, Clear Rhinestones

Peace on Earth

Hello Everyone!  It's December and that means another fun and fabulous release by Our Daily Bread Designs!!  Today I've been playing with a new rubber stamp set called Peaceful Wishes as well as two die sets - Double Pierced Vintage Labels and Vintage Label Flip Fold Card and Layers.  The Double Pierced Vintage Labels work perfectly with the Vintage Label Flip Fold Card (I've used the largest Pierced Label to go with the two larger Labels provided with the Vintage Label Flip Fold Die Set).  Not just that, but the Pierced version also perfectly matches up with Vintage Labels, Vintage Borders and Vintage Flourish Pattern Dies.  Happy Sigh!  I love matching things!!

I also love that ODBD are bringing out card dies that come with the matching layers all included in the ONE SET!!  Brilliant!

This card is really very easy to make!  Die cut the base of green card with the Vintage Label Flip Fold Card and Layers then use the layers dies to cut the panels with Christmas Collection 2018.  The Vintage Label Flip Fold Card and Layers comes with the two larger Vintage Labels for your 'Flip' panel and I've used those to cut a piece of Silver (it's actually quite shiny, see below picture) and some soft pink to match the patterned paper.  Next I've cut a piece of white using Double Pierced Vintage Labels, stamping the sentiment in Pigment White ink and embossing with silver embossing powder.  The image is from Peaceful Wishes (as is the sentiment) and I've stamped that in Bamboo Leaves, adding little touches of G43 Copic just to darken parts for a little extra contrast.  Finally I've airbrushed some BG000 Copic to the top for the sky.

The reverse side of the 'Flip', I've used the largest Vintage Label in the Vintage Label Flip Fold Card and Layers set to cut a piece of white and I've simply stamped the edge of the same image in a softer green (New Sprout), leaving the rest of the space for writing a Christmas message.

Stamps - Peaceful Wishes (ODBD)
Ink - Memento Bamboo Leaves, New Sprout, Unicorn White
Paper - ODBD Christmas Collection 2018, Green, White, Silver, Pink
Accessories - ODBD Dies: Vintage Label Flip Fold Card and Layers, Double Pierced Vintage Labels; Silver Embossing Power, Heat Gun, Airbrush and BG000 Copic, G43 Copic

You can find all sorts of inspiration at any of these locations -  the ODBD Blog, web pages, the ODBDGalleryFacebookPinterest and Instagram.

Frangipani Box

Hello Everyone!  Today I have a cute, quick giftbox to show you!  I work for a small family owned business and whenever anyone celebrates a birthday (there's only 10!), I make a little giftbox and fill it with a bag of chocolates to mark the occasion.  This month belongs to one of the girls who happens to love the colour purple......thus the deep purple Glorious Gable Box!  I thought it needed a little lift, so I've paired this up with a white Frangipani, leaves and some Ferns!  While the Frangipani was still in the die, I've airbrushed it with a light yellow Copic.  To finish I've added a yellow pearl for a touch of bling!

She loved it and loved the Raspberry and Dark Chocolate balls that went inside too!  :)

Stamps - NONE
Ink - NONE
Paper - Purple, White, Dark Green, Light Green
Accessories - ODBD Dies: Glorious Gable Box, Frangipani, Ferns; Airbrush, Y13 Copic, glue.

That's all from me today, thanks for visiting and hope you are inspired to stamp!  :)

Thankful Poppies

Hello Everyone, today at 11am, we mark the 100th Anniversary of Armistice Day.  A day to reflect on the sacrifice of so many called to fight for their countries.  The Great War, the War to End All Wars - sadly that is not the case and still the world continues it's battles and the men and women are still on the frontline, if not in the same manner of those from that time.  I think it is hard for most of us to imagine what life was like 100yrs ago, every family and community affected in some way and the wait for news - often months or years of waiting to hear what had happened to loved ones on the other side of the world.  We think of old portraits, faces of a different time and forget they they were once just young people who had dreams, played sport, had friends, sweethearts and a bright future.  In a small nation like Australia of roughly 5 million people, 62,000 were lost in WW1 here alone.  Our country and the world were never the same after WW1 and I pray that the we remember the saying..... Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.  Let's pray that we never see the world thrown into that sort of destructive turmoil again.

LEST WE FORGET

Today I finally have a card made with an image I coloured up a while ago.  This beautiful  image is called Perfect Poppies and is a digi image by Power Poppy.  I'd made the poppy image and sentiment from Perfect Poppies the size I wanted, printed it off and coloured it up with Copics. I had finished colouring it up and was carefully sponging the edges with some Antique Linen ink, when it turns out I was not so careful and managed to get a bit of ink on my hand and promptly transferred it to the edge of my finished piece.  GAH!!  So I covered it up with some Tea Bag ink and a stencil!  I finished it off with a fancy black frame and die cut a matching piece in white to create the card.  :)

This card is also suitable for this month's Power and Spark Challenge over at Power Poppy to make a Thank-You or Thanksgiving card - you can check all the details HERE!

Stamps - Perfect Poppies (Power Poppy)
Ink - Printer, Antique Linen, Tea Bag
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Black
Accessories - Copics, Stencil, Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles Two

That's all from me today, thanks for popping by and hope you are inspired to stamp and remember!  :)

November Power and Spark

Hello Everyone!!  I'm excited to be bringing you this month's Power and Spark Challenge which is a Thankful Challenge!  As you know I'm an Aussie, which means that we don't have Thanksgiving here as that is a uniquely North American holiday but that doesn't mean we don't have things to be thankful for.  I am and will always be thankful for my dear hubby and gorgeous children, my parents who have always been there for me and my bestie who has been through the highs and lows beside me for the last 30yrs.  November also brings the 97th Birthday of my Grandmother, a very, very special lady in my life who I will always adore and be truly thankful and blessed to have in my life.  On the world calendar, 11 November 2018 brings the 100th Anniversary of Armistice Day - a time to reflect and be thankful for all those who have and are still serving for our country.  So what are you thankful for??  Play along with us and make a Thank You or Thanksgiving themed project and link up to the Power Poppy Blog!

I'm also thankful that here Down Under that it is Spring!  So I've reached for Flower Bomb and made it very large, added the sentiment at the top and printed it out and coloured it with a range of Copics.  It really doesn't need much embellishing at all as those beautiful blooms are taking centre stage, so I've matted it with some cream card, added a pink base with a border punch bottom and a few enamel dots to accent.

Stamps - Flower Bomb (Power Poppy)
Ink - Printer
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Cream, Pink
Accessories - Copics, ODBD Double Stitched Rectangles, Martha Stewart Deco Fan Border Punch, Enamel Dots

Want to see what the Bloomies have been thankful about, check them out here.....

Don't forget playing along, linking up gives you the chance to win a $50 Shopping Spree at the Power Poppy store!!

That's all from me today, thanks for popping by and hope you are inspired to stamp and play along with us this month!

Joyful Poinsettias

Hello Everyone!!!  It's the start of a new month (can you believe it's NOVEMBER already!) so there is a brand new Our Daily Bread Designs release on the shelves!  This month was are getting ready for Christmas with a range of festive themed stamps and dies and I have been playing with Joyful Christmas - a stamp and die duo, and this divine Christmas Collection 2018 paper!!!  Love the soft pinks and greens in this gorgeous paper!

I've used some mint green card and the Center Step Card Die to create the base.  Next I used two pieces of Christmas Collection 2018 paper and the Center Step Layers dies to cut the panels.  Around the base layer I've attached some soft green ribbon and then topped with a bow.  I've used Layered Lacey Ovals to cut some white card and then Pierced Ovals to cut the middle out (although any of the oval dies would be fine too, it was just the first one I grabbed).  Once I've glued this piece into place, I've stamped the sentiment from Joyful Christmas in black ink as shown.  Next I've stamped the poinsettia image from Joyful Christmas in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copic Markers (G40, G43, G46, C5, RV000, R81, R83, R85, YG00, Y26).  I've popped this up on foam tape and finished with a few rhinestones.

Stamps - Joyful Christmas Stamp/Die Duo (ODBD)
Paper - ODBD Christmas Collection 2018, Mint Green, White, X-press It Blending card

Hello Everyone!  It's the third day of the Power Poppy Sneak Peeks for the Happiest Holidays 2018 Collection!!  Today the Bloomies are showcasing TWO new stamp sets - Through the Woods and Snuggle Down!  As you would imagine, Through the Woods is full of earthy and wood themed images, elements and sentiments.  Snuggle Down on the other hand is all warm and cozy with blankets, thermoses and elements to make your own plaid!  You will see that I've combined both sets to create my card today.  :)

The base is made of old olive and layered with vanilla and then some Wonderland paper.  Next I have a piece of green border punched with Woodland Branch.  I've topped this with kraft and a piece of vanilla that I've made into a plaid print using three of the elements from Snuggle Down.  I've stamped the wood frame from Through the Woods stamped with Memento Black.  It the middle I've stamped the sentiment from Through the Woods in Spruce Ink.  I've coloured the image with Copics and die cut with Double Stitched Squares, then matted with Old Olive and Kraft card.  To finish I've added a few pewter pearls to the top corner.

Heart be Light

Hello Everyone!  Today I'm thrilled to sneak peek another of Power Poppy's new Happiest Holiday 2018 release and this gorgeous set is called Let Your Heart Be Light!  This set is so versatile!  Use the top border only, or the bottom border only, add a glow (or not) or put a sentiment in between....the choice is yours!!  The floral images are 4.5 inches wide so will fill the front of a standard sized card if you desire!

I've used the top and bottom borders, one of the sentiments in between as well as the top and bottom 'glow' stamps from Let Your Heart Be Light!  I just love this set.....soooooooo pretty!!  I've stamped the borders in grey, the sentiment in black and the glows in yellow - all on X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics.  I've then cut this with Labels 25.  I've created the base (6.5 x 4.5 inches) of plain white card and then cut a piece of pink the same size - then used the largest Majestic Labels 25 die to cut the pink panel.  I've glued this to the top and then attached the feature panel into the middle of the card.  To finish I've accented with clear rhinestones as shown.

Hello Everyone!  Hope you are already for lots of fun because today is Day 1 of the brand new Power Poppy Happiest Holidays 2018 Release!!!  Get ready to squeal, because the first cab off the rank is CHRISTMAS CORGIS!!!!  It's puppy fever and Christmas all rolled into one with this super cute set inspired by Ms Marc's very own Mr Tibbs!

Now I just couldn't go past the 'Merry Corgmas' (I totally laughed out loud when I saw it) and stamped in with the reindeer antlered corgi jumping over the top onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (I used a mix of E11, E13, YR23, YR27 and C5 to create the coat and some W1 for some shading on the paws).  I've cut this out with Large Circles and sponged some green and blue inks while it was still in the die.  This has been matted with vanilla card cut with Stately Circles.  The base has been made with kraft card topped with vanilla and two pieces of Kaisercraft Wonderland paper and I've added some wide ivory ribbon across the join.  I've popped my Christmas Corgi image up on foam tape and finished with some rhinestones for some seasonal sparkle!

Diorama Delights!

Hello Everyone!  Today the Breadsticks are having a play with all the latest release goodies from Our Daily Bread Designs and wasn't it a fun month with the new Diorama Dies!!  This set came with the base and layers all in one set so the card was made in a snap!!  Add to that a selection of border dies to create scenes in the diorama and you have a bunch of fun!

For my first card I used the Diorama With Layers Dies and matching Neighborhood Border die and Cloud Borders dies to create my scene.  I cut many of the Neighborhood Borders out of different colours and then cut and patched together to make a charming cottage theme.  Now I could have made it in a Snowy Christmas theme, but it's Summer and HOT here in Australia at this time of year, so green I left it!  I've paired this with some funky plaid paper from the Christmas Collection 2017 paper, a poinsettia created with Peaceful Poinsettias dies and the sentiment from Great Joy stamped onto a die cut made with Pennant Flags!

Stamps - Great Joy - sentiment (ODBD)
Paper - ODBD Christmas Collection 2017, Cream, White, Red, Green, Kraft, Yellow
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - ODBD Dies: Diorama and Layers, Neighborhood Border, Cloud Borders, Peaceful Poinsettias, Pennant Flags; Glue

For my second Diorama With Layers card, I let the diorama inside stay more subtle by using the silhouette image from Holy Night in black and only let the star glow in silver.  I've kept the card a deep blue, adding white "stars" to the background and some beautiful silver paper from Winter Collection for the front.  I've left my Wisemen from Great Joy to shine in this card by stamping in Memento Black onto X-press It Blending Card and colouring with Copic Markers and diecutting with the matching die from Great Joy.  I've actually also used the die to cut a plain piece of card to adhere behind the Wisemen to make them nice and sturdy.  Finally I've used the sentiment from the same set and die cut with Pennant Flags and adhered that to the top.

Stamps - Great Joy (ODBD)
Paper - ODBD Winter Collection, Blue, Black, X-press It Blending Card
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - ODBD Dies: Diorama and Layers, Holy Night; Copics, White Opaque Pen

https://ourdailybreaddesigns.com/poinsettia-bundle-pre-order.html

I'm using the Poinsettia Bundle for my project today, in particular the Joyful Christmas Stamp/Die Duo and the lovely new Christmas Collection 2018 paper!  I've paired this up with the Luminous Lantern Die and Fancy Circles Die to create a festive luminary lantern.  I've die cut some mint green card with Luminous Lantern Die and adhered together.  I've then created a band around the bottom using the new Christmas Collection 2018 paper. Next I've stamped the Poinsettia image from Joyful Christmas Stamp/Die Duo in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics and then die cut with the matching die.  I've stamped the sentiment from Joyful Christmas in black and die cut with Fancy Circles Die and adhered as shown.  (A fun tip - the paper I've used is a perfect match for Copic R20 which I've used to airbrush the sentiment!)  To finish I've added a red checked ribbon to close the top of the lantern.

Because this is a Pre-Order special, the stamps, dies and papers can only be ordered in bundles at this time.  You can read all about it and see many more beautiful projects to inspire on the ODBD Blog, Web Pages, the ODBD GalleryFacebookPinterest and Instagram.

These beautiful ornamental veges can be coloured in a variety of colours - check out this inspiration piece!

I've gone with traditional yellow/green cabbages - although for some reason I couldn't get Peter Rabbit out of my head!  LOL!!

Musical September!

Hello Everyone!  ODBD has been musical through the month of September and today I have a couple of projects made with the latest goodies that have been released!  Now I'm not particulary musical myself, although my 11yr old daughter is involved with all things music at school.  Through the years she's been learning viola with Mr Hoey and involved in (firstly) Junior Choir and (now) Senior Choir as well as in the school musical (with Mrs Hooper) which is being presented tonight!!  So with all that said, I'm sure the names on the projects today make a little more sense!!  :)

So what ODBD products have I used today??  For the card I've used the fantastic Notable Notes Paper Pad (for the music paper and that pop of purple) and paired it up with Alphabet Flags (eeeep - how COOL are they!!) and Musical Notes dies.  To get that sparkly bunting was really easy - I've stuck some Glitter Deco Tape to some white card and then die cut the flags as normal.  Glue the glitter panels to some plain white flags and you're done! This was actually a pretty easy card to make!

Stamps - None!
Ink - None!
Paper - ODBD Notable Notes Paper Pad, Black, White
Accessories - ODBD Dies: Alphabet Flags, Musical Notes; X-press It Glitter Deco Tape Gold 25mm, Glue

There's bit more involved in the Gift Bag and many more products used but I liked the finished project!  :)

I started with the Card Caddy and Gift Bag die set to create the bag.  The the Gift Bag Handles and Topper dies for the scalloped topper (which I then layered because I can't help myself!).  I've used Pierced Rectangles for the front panel and topped it and the topper with Notable Notes Paper Pad.  Next I created the name using Alphabet Flags adding a little bakers twine.  Next I stamped the instrument and sentiment from Marvelous Things in Delicata sparkly black ink, fussy cutting the instrument and creating an pennant for the sentiment.  I've added these to a Pierced Circles layer.  Finally I've added a music note to the top using Musical Notes dies.

Stamps - Marvelous Things (ODBD)
Ink - Delicata Black
Paper - ODBD Notable Notes Paper Pad, Blue, White, Black
Accessories - ODBD Dies: Card Caddy and Gift Bag, Gift Bag Handles and Topper, Pierced Rectangles, Pierced Circles, Alphabet Flags, Musical Notes; Baker's Twine, X-press It Foam Tape, Glue

Chrysanthemum XL

Hello Everyone!!  Guess what?!  It's time for a brand new Power Poppy Release!!  WOOHOO!!  Today the Bloom Brigade are previewing a new HUGE flower called Chrysanthemum XL!  This beautiful big bloom is just begging to be coloured up!

I decided to step out of the box and colour this up in purples instead of Fall colours - probably because we are going into Spring here in Australia (Yippeee!!) and enjoying the warmer Spring weather.  :)

I've stamped Chrysanthemum XL onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured it up with Copics.  I've cut it to size and matted with some cream card then attached some neutral glitter tape across the bottom and attached it to a purple base card.  I've stamped the sentiment and petal accent onto the blending card, coloured with Copics and die cut with Labels 33 and airbrushed a little E42 while it was still in the die.  I've popped this up on X-press It Foam Tape and finished with a few Chocolate Pearls.

Stamps - Chrysanthemum XL (Power Poppy)
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Cream, Purple
Accessories - Copics, Spellbinders Labels 33, X-press It Deco Glitter Tape, X-press It Foam Tape, Kaisercraft Chocolate Pearls

Then Sings My Soul

Hello Everyone!  It's the beginning of the month and that means it's time for a brand new release from Our Daily Bread Designs and this month it's all about MUSIC!!  Music is one thing that can really touch the soul, make you smile, make you cry, make you reminisce!  I was never particularly musical, but it seems my primary school aged daughter has been blessed with this talent, singing in choir and learning to play the viola (the bigger version of a violin).  It's been wonderful to see her progress!

This month, be inspired by music with new stamps and dies from ODBD!!  I've used Marvelous Things stamp set, Musical Notes Dies and Notable Notes Paper Pad!

I've used a base of white card layered with the solid paper from Notable Notes Paper Pad cut with Pierced Rectangles dies.  This is topped with more Notable Notes Paper Pad paper.  I've stamped the saxophone image from Marvelous Things in gold ink onto white card and cut into a notched tag and cut another tag out of more Notable Notes paper.  I've added these two pieces to the top and then added some glitter deco tape across the top.  The sentiment is also from Marvelous Things, stamped in black, trimmed and matted with more Notable Notes paper.  Finally I've cut some black cut using the Musical Notes Dies and attached as shown!

The Breadsticks have some wonderful projects to share with you today and you can find them on the ODBD Blog, web pages, ODBD Gallery, Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram.

That's all from me today, thanks for popping by and hope you enjoy all the creations using the new release and are inspired to stamp!  :)

Found Mushrooms

Hello Everyone!  It's Good Vibe Friday over at Power Poppy and today I've been using one of the newest Power Poppy clear stamps called Wild Mushrooms!  There was something about these Pinwheel Mushrooms that got me - they are just so pretty and delicate and I can just imagine some fairies hanging out underneath!

I've used a base of brown card (trying to keep with an earthy theme) and layered with some River Rock and topped with a piece of Graphic 45 DP.  Down one side I've added a piece of cream card topped with hessian ribbon (burlap).  I've stamped the mushrooms from Wild Mushrooms in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics.  I've cut them out with Small Ovals dies and layered with River Rock cut with Large Ovals dies and popped it up on foam tape.  I've stamped the sentiment onto a leftover piece of blending card and cut into a notched tag.  To finish I've added a couple of rustic-y type buttons.

Stamps - Wild Mushrooms (Power Poppy)
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Chocolate Chip, River Rock, Cream, Graphic 45 DP
Accessories - Copics, Spellbinders Large and Small Oval Nestabilities, X-press It Foam Tape, Hessian Ribbon, Scissors, Buttons

Deep Breath

Hello Everyone!!  It's Power Poppy Friday and I'm kicking off the weekend with a peaceful card for you using a new digi stamp by Power Poppy called Take A Deep Breath.  I love this serene image and that sentiment is just perfect with it!

I've printed the image and sentiment from Take A Deep Breath on X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics.  I've die cut this with Pierced Rectangles and then added a little sparkle across the bottom with some Glitter Deco Tape.  The card base is made of purple card layered with white, some soft pretty paper and another layer of white punched with Threading Water border punch (rather apt I thought).

Stamps - Take A Deep Breath (Power Poppy)
Ink - Printer
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Wisteria Wonder, White, MFT Watercolor Wash DP
Accessories - Copics, ODBD Pierced Rectangles Die, Fiskars Threading Water Border Punch, X-press It Glitter Deco Tape

Get Well Soon!

Hello Everyone!  Having a little look back at the August release by Our Daily Bread Designs with some fabulous stamps and dies perfect for Get Well Cards!  I was particularly intrigued by this Crutch Die - as someone who ended up on crutches less than 2yrs ago, I totally relate to how it feels to receive a little kindness in the mail.

For my first card I used the Side Step Card Die to cut some cream card and then the Side Step Layers to cut pieces of Shabby Pastels Paper Pad.  To create the accent pieces, I've used the Crutch Die and Bandages Dies.  The sentiments have been stamped using the new Get Well Wishes stamp set and die cut with Pennant Flags die.

Stamps - Get Well Wishes (ODBD)
Ink - Sugared Lavender, Antique Linen
Paper - ODBD Shabby Pastels Paper Pad, Cream, Silver
Accessories - ODBD Dies: Side Step Card, Side Step Layers, Crutch, Bandages, Pennant Flags

My second project I've used a base of blue, die cut some cream with Lavish Layers, added another layer of blue card, more cream cut with Lavish Layers and topped with a piece of Old Glory Paper.  I've stamped the sentiment from Get Well Wishes onto cream card and die cut with Pennant Flags die.  I've die cut cream and silver card using the Crutch Die to make a pair of crutches, using the cream pieces for the armrests, handles and stopped bottoms.  To finish I've accented with some enamel dots.

Stamps - Get Well Wishes (ODBD)
Ink - Daydream
Paper - ODBD Old Glory Paper; cream, blue
Accessories - ODBD Dies: Lavish Layers, Pennant Flags, Crutch; enamel dots
