It's World Cardmaking Day!!  All you paper lovers out there, this day is for you, so get your fingers twitching and celebrate the only way you know how......by getting crafty!  The Bloom Brigade are having a little celebration of our own by posting some of our favourite kinds of cards to make and send.  To add a little goodness for our wonderful followers, all you have to do is comment on the Bloomies posts (there's a list at the bottom of this post for you) for your chance to win a World Cardmaking Day Goody Bag for of Power Poppy goodness!!!  One person will be randomly chosen from all comments so make sure you share the love!

For an added bonus, there's a ONE DAY FLASH SALE!!!  Everything in the Power Poppy store is 20% off if you use the code..... WORLD!  What better way to celebrate World Cardmaking Day than buying some fabby new cardmaking goodies!

What have I got for you today?  It's a WEDDING CARD!  Who doesn't love making a beautiful wedding card and one you know that will be kept and treasured.  This card was a special request from a friend of mine who wanted a lavender theme.  Why a lavender theme you ask?  This special day was being held at a Lavender Farm!!  Can you just imagine how lovely and tranquil that must have been!

In keeping with the Lavender theme, I've reached for Power Poppy's Lavender Stamp Set, a colour palette of white and soft purples and some pretty delicate dies!  I've stamped the three lavender sprigs from Lavender Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics.  I've then fussy cut this image!  I've cut the various white, purple and Maja Designs stripe paper with Radiant Rectangles, Lace Hearts and Mrs and Mrs Dies, added some white an purple ribbons and then popped this Lavender image up on foam tape.

Stamps - Lavender (Power Poppy)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Lavender, White, Maja Designs DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, Spellbinders Dies - Radiant Rectangles, Lace Hearts, ODBD Die - Mr and Mrs Die, White and Purple Ribbons, X-press It Foam Tape, Glue

  37. WOW! Kathy, there is just so much beauty in this card! I absolutely love it all, and I love all the wonderful dies and your perfect layering. The ribbon is beautiful along with the "mr. and mrs." die...but the fussy-cut lavender wins! It is the pièce de resistance! It's colored to perfection, and I love how you've played it with a beautiful wedding card! Thanks for sharing and inspiring, sweet friend! Hugs and love! xoxo
