Today's card is one I made for last week's Crazy 4 Challenges Sketch Challenge. It's been a busy week and this is the first chance I've had to join in. This card is going to a boy celebrating his 18th birthday who loves to play the drums. I've tried to keep it bold and masculine. 
I can't believe that it's been several days since my last post! Things have been busy and my mojo is sluggish!!! :( I decided to kick start the mojo with this week's Featured Stamper Challenge - this week the honour goes to Jojot! What an awesome gallery she has and I think I might even do another one (or two!). I chose her Flutterby Delight card changing the colours, image (although I kept the butterfly theme), different border punch and modified the two panels making it one panel separated by a ribbon.I started with a base of green bazzill, layered with Very Vanilla and some 'Madeline' DSP by K&Co. The Vanilla layer had the bottom punched using the EK success 'Fleur de Lis' border punch and then four of the cut outs were used to embellish the corners. The butterfly is from Inkadinkdo's 'Gem Stone Insects' and has been stamped using Opera Pink versacolor ink on Vanilla card, cut out and popped up on foam tape. The Vanilla layer under it has been cut out using the Small Oval Nestabilities and embossed using 'Floral Screen' EF. That is matted by more green bazzill cut with the Large Oval Nestabilities and then matted again with some Vanilla cut and embossed with the new Label 5 Nestabilities. Finished off by adding some green satin ribbon through the middle, embellishing with some Blush Kaisercraft pearls on the ribbon and in the centres of the corner embellishments.

Hi Everyone! I am sooooooo late doing this week's Featured Stamper Challenge, but I really wanted to get one done because this week the honour went to the lovely Teresa (aka VA. Sunshine) who has a FANTASTIC gallery to choose from. It was so hard to settle on one card, but in the end I chose her Have Faith card. I really like the CAS cards, but seem to have trouble making them myself - so this is about as CAS as I get!! :) I changed almost all the card, colours, theme, removed the sentiment, changed the main panel shape and size.
It's been a while since I've done a Weekend Sketch Challenge, but I needed a birthday card quickly and it was perfect!! This week the challenge is hosted by Beate it's so goo to see her back creating after her move!I started with a base of Kiwi Kiss and layered with white (pierced) and some Raspberry Tart DSP. The sentiment is from SU's Elegant Cheer set and has been stamped in Old Olive and cut out and embossed with the Mega Curved Rectangle Nestabilities. This cute butterfly is part of the Inkadinkado Gem Stone Insects set and stamped in Rose Red, cut out and popped up. The white circle underneath is cut using circle nestabilties and embossed with Floral Screen EF (not that you can see it very well) and then matted with a Kiwi Kiss layer cut with the scalloped circle nestabilties. I've added some hot pink gingham ribbon - knotting the bottom one - across the bottom. Finally I've added some Kiwi Kiss corners cut using the provocraft 'Vintage' dies and adding a Snow Kaisercraft pearl to each.

It's another Dare to Get Dirty card!!! If you're a Fan Club Member you can join in all the fun by checking out the forum HERE!! I've combined three challenges in this card, Deb's, Cindy's and Bonnie's!! It would also qualify for Becca's again too!I started with a base of Very Vanilla and layered with some Mulberry Bazzill. The four squares are the new Basic Grey Lemonade DSP matted with Very Vanilla and zig zag stitched around each square. The main panel is the largest butterfly from Inkadinkado's Gem Stone Insects that has been stamped in Rose Red ink on VV card and popped up with foam tape. Underneath that is some more VV that's been embossed with the Floral Screen embossing folder, matted with some Teal Bazzill and more VV. I've cut them using the small, large and large scalloped circle nestabilities. I finished off by adding the birthday sentiment from 'Elegant Cheer' (SU) in Chocolate Chip ink and some Aquamarine Kaisercraft rhinestones that my wonderful friend Michelle (aka sf9erfan) sent me!!! :) Thanks so much Michelle (it's also thanks to you that I couldn't resist this Lemonade paper)!!!

It's Featured Stamper Sunday and this week the honour goes to Christy S!!! Congratulations Christy and enjoy your week!! I have chosen to case her Butterfly Wishes Again card, changing the colours, papers, moving the sentiment and adding some punch work. As soon as I saw this card I just knew that I wanted to get out my new Inkadinkado butterflies again!!!! I've also realised that this also qualifies for the Flutterby Wednesday Challenge too!!! :)
This week's Featured Stamper is Sumtoy who has a huge gallery to chose from! I was inspired by her Morning Butterfly card and changed the colours, added a sentiment, moved the ribbon, modified the layout and added some pearls! I kept the over all feel of the card with the layout, ribbon, punched edge and butterfly image.
