Hello Everyone! Today I have another card made using Our Daily Bread designs' new Scripture Collection 3 Set and Vine Borders Set. This verse was submitted by my Design Team sister Dawn Lusk. I also used this week's Sweet Stop Sketch SSS49.
I started with a base of Very Vanilla and layered with Kiwi Kiss and a piece of Kaisercraft Devonshire DSP. The panel across the card is more Devonshire DSP matted with brown bazzill punched with the Fleur de Lis Border Punch. The large rectangle panel is Kiwi Kiss layered with more Devonshire DSP and over the top of these two panels I've added some 1/2" dark cream satin ribbon. The feature panel has been stamped using Vine Borders and Scripture Collection 3 both by Our Daily Bread Designs. The Vine Borders was stamped in Old Olive and then I added a little colouring to the flowers. The verse has been stamped in Close to Cocoa and then matted with more brown bazzill and popped up with Foam Tape. To finish I added a couple of Kaisercraft Chino Pearls and a bow made with my Bow Easy.
Stamps - Scripture Collection 3, Vine Borders (Our Daily Bread Designs)
Paper - Very Vanilla, Sienna Bazzill, Kiwi Kiss, Kaisercraft Devonshire DSP
Ink - Old Olive, Close to Cocoa
Accessories - Fleur de Lis Border Punch, 1/2" Dark Cream Satin Ribbon, Kaisercraft Chino Pearls, Foam Tape.
That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!!! :)

A Ruby Anniversary
Firstly let me start by saying a HUGE thank you to everyone who participated in the JustRite Stampers Blog Hop - there was such a big response it was totally amazing!!! Thank you to everyone who commented here and welcome to my new followers and subscribers!! :) If you didn't win anything, don't forget that you can still buy your 1 5/8 products from JustRite for 20% off - but only until the end of March!
Now - on to today's card!!! March 28th marked my parent's 40th Anniversary and since it is traditionally the Ruby Anniversary I decided to make them a card with red! I was inspired by this My Mind's Eye Lush paper which is red flocked. Since it had a creamy base I matched it with Very Vanilla and used black to make it pop.
I started with a Very Vanilla base and layered with black and the Lush DSP. Next I cut another piece of Vanilla, embossed it with Swiss Dots and matted it with some red bazzill. Next I took another piece of black and cut and embossed it with the Spades Pendant die and attached some 1" red satin ribbon through the sides and glued it down. I then took the centre sentiment from Loving Thoughts (which is currently 20% OFF!) and the border from 2" Square Decorative Frames and stamped them in Memento Tuxedo Black. I cut it out with Lg Square Nestabilities and matted it with a piece of red bazzill and popped it up on foam tape. To finish I added a large red satin bow made with my Bow Easy and embellished with a few Kaisercraft Blush Pearls.
Stamps - Loving Thoughts, 2" Square Decorative Frames
Paper - Very Vanilla, Black Bazzill, My Mind's Eye Red Lush DSP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Spades Pendant Die, Lg Square Nestabilities, 1" Red Satin Ribbon, Kaisercraft Blush Pearls, Foam Tape.
Happy Anniversary Mum and Dad and wishing you many more ahead!!!! {{{HUGS}}}
That's all for today, thanks for visiting!! :)

JR Blog Hop Day 3
Welcome to Day 3 of the JustRite Mega March Blog Hop! Have you been enjoying the first couple of days? Haven't the projects been awesome!! If you've missed any you can find the links on the JustRite Stampers Blog.
Today I've decided to use the violets from Breath of Spring and the sentiment from Joyful Hearts to create my card.
I love this sweet bouquet of violets and coloured them with markers (pale plum, perfect plum, mellow moss and old olive) and a blender pen and then cut them out and popped them up. Such a perfect match for the new Basic Grey Kioshi DSP that I picked up last week!! :)
I decorated the inside using the same decorative border (in the smaller size) to frame the sentiment.
Stamps - Breath of Spring, Joyful Hearts (JustRite)
Paper - Lt Purple Bazzill, Green Bazzill, White, Basic Grey Kioshi DSP
Ink - Perfect Plum, Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Label 5, Large Oval and Large Scallop Oval Nestabilities, Fiskars Lace Border Punch, Sewing Machine, May Arts Olive Ribbon, Kaisercraft Snow Pearls, Foam Tape.

Peonies and Kindness
Today I decided to make a card for three different challenges - the first is the Featured Stamper challenge, the honour this week going to Cathy (aka Mutnik). I chose her Two Step Stamping Flowers card to case. I kept the layout, flower theme and overall pink feel and added a sentiment, ribbon, punching, different paper, image and pearls. The other challenges are this week's Crazy 4 Challenges challenge to create a Spring Card and the JustRite Stampers challenge to mix and match your stamps! I used the peonies from Beautiful Blossoms, the border from Breath of Spring and the sentiment from Joyful Hearts!!! There is an awesome Spellbinders prize up for grabs with the JustRite Challenge too so head on over to the JustRite Inspiration Blog for details!!!
I started with a base of white and layered with aqua bazzill, light pink bazzill and some MME DSP, on which I stamped the sentiment from Joyful Hearts. The next panel is more white punched with a scallop border punch and layered with more MME DSP. Around this I attached some 1/2" white satin ribbon. The main panel has been stamped using the peonies from Beautiful Blossoms and the border from Breath of Spring and coloured with markers and a blender pen. I cut this out using the Lg Oval Nesties and matted with pink bazzill cut using the Label 10 Nesties and popped the panel up on foam tape. To finish I added a bow and button to the ribbon and some Kaisercraft Snow Pearls to the bottom corner.
Stamps - Beautiful Blossoms, Breath of Spring, Joyful Hearts (JustRite Stampers)
Paper - White, Pink and Aqua Bazzill, MME DSP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Label 10 and Lg Oval Nestabilities, Scallop Border Punch (SU), 1/2" White Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Button, Kaisercraft Snow Pearls, Foam Tape.
Thats all for today, thanks for visiting!!!

QFTD02 Praying with Lillies
Today I got a PM from Anne Ryan at SCS about a new game called Queen for the Day. Each friday a new 'Queen' is crowned for a couple of days and we who play can case something in her gallery. This week it is MarilynPrestonn! I chose her Mercy Bunny card to case. I kept the same layout, same colours. Different image and ribbon and added a sentiment.
I started with a base of white and layered with Kiwi Kiss, some yellow bazzill and some Urban Garden DSP. Across the card I added some 1/2" white satin ribbon and stamped the sentiment from Easter Blessings in Memento Tuxedo Black. The feature panel has been made using the Lily of the Valley image, also from Easter Blessings, stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with markers (SU and Tombow). I cut and embossed the lillies with Small Circle Nestabilities (and then pierced around the edge), matted with Kiwi Kiss cut with Large Circle Nestabilities and then matted with yellow bazzill cut with the Label 1 Nestabilities. To finish I popped the panel up on foam tape and added Kaisercraft Snow Pearls to each of the Label corners and also added a bow made with my Bow Easy to the ribbon.
Stamps - Easter Blessings
Paper - White, Kiwi Kiss, Yellow Bazzill, Urban Garden DSP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Label 1, Small and Large Circle Nestabilities, Paper Piercer, Mat Pack, 1/2" White Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Markers, Blender Pen, Kaisercraft Snow Pearls, Foam Tape.
That's all for now, thanks for visiting!!! :)

F4A4 Easter Basket
I thought I'd finished playing for the day when I had a look at this week's F4A4 Challenge to make a basket (or use a basket image). I realised I didn't have any basket stamps and had a look at the SCS resource page and came across this cute Easter Basket. Since I hadn't put away my JustRite Favorite Occasions stamp set yet I thought the Easter border and centre would be perfect for this challenge! And if you didn't read the last post, this 1 5/8 stamp set and all others this size are 20% off at JustRite Stampers right through the month of March!!!
By using the tutorial at SCS I started with a base of pink bazzill for the box and covered it with this fun Imaginisce paper that's been in my stash for a while. Next I made the handle with more pink bazzill - punching both sides with the Fiskars Lazy Days of Summer Border Punch and adding more Imaginisce paper. Around the box I knotted some 3/8 white grosgrain ribbon. Next I took the Favorite Occasions stamp set and stamped the Easter centre and border in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured it with markers and a blender pen. I cut it out with the Large Circle Nestabilities and matted it with pink bazzill cut with the matching scallop circle and popped the panel up on foam tape to the side of the box.
Stamps - Favorite Occasions (JustRite)
Paper - Pink Bazzill, White, Imaginisce DSP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Scor Pal, Fiskars Lazy Days of Summer Border Punch, Large Circle and Scallop Circle Nestabilities, 3/8 White Grosgrain Ribbon, Markers, Blender Pen, Foam Tape.
That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!! :)
A Graduation...
Today a friend of ours is graduating from the Police Academy so I used this week's SCS Sketch Challenge to create a bold and non-fuss congratulatory card. I also got to use this fab graduation stamp that is part of the Favorite Occasions set by JustRite Stampers. This set and ALL the 1 5/8 stamps are 20% off through the month of March - go check it out and see what bargains you can find!!!!
I have to say, this card is VERY CAS for me, but I think it turned out OK for our Police Constable! It starts with a base of white layered with Baja Breeze and Not Quite Navy. The Navy layer has been embossed with the Star EF (stars for Police of course!). Next I took a piece of Urban Garden DSP and cut it with the Label 8 die and sliced one end off. Over the end I added a piece of May Arts White Satin ribbon. The feature panel has been stamped twice with a centre and border from Favorite Occasions stamp set by JustRite Stampers. The first panel was cut with Large Circle Nestabilities and the other I cut out only the middle using a 1 1/4 circle punch and popped it up in the middle after colouring with a little bit of Not Quite Navy and Basic Grey. I then matted it with a piece of NQN (cut with Small Circle Nesties) and then a piece of white cut and embossed with the Label 9 Nesties. To finish I added three small silver brads to the corner of the Label.
Stamps - Favorite Occasions (JustRite)
Paper - White, Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze, Urban Garden DSP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Not Quite Navy, Basic Grey
Accessories - Label 9, Large and Small Circle Nestabilities, Star EF, May Arts White Satin Ribbon, Silver Brads, Foam Tape.
Don't forget that next week starting the 23rd there is a MASSIVE JustRite Blog Hop featuring 75 designers all using the beautiful botanical stamps that are now available!!

ODBD 2nd Anniversary Hop!
Today, Kelley is releasing four new and truly wonderful Special Edition sets! Each of us on the Design Team submitted a favourite verse, and those Scripture Verses are two of the sets being released today. If that wasn't exciting enough... she also created two sets of gorgeous borders that fit the Scriptures! The verse I chose for this set is Psalms 46:10, "Be still and know that I am God." How often do we find ourselves caught up in this busy world and sometimes we just need to stop and listen to God. I have this verse stitched on the cover of my bible and I remember singing this as a song with my mother when I was young - so it was the first verse I thought of when we were asked. I hope it's one of your favourites too! :)
If you've come from Connie's Blog you are in the right place, if not, start back at the ODBD Blog for all the details!! :)

I'm also using the new ODBD set called The Lord is Risen which is perfect for Easter cards, although I can see that I'm going to be using these beautiful violets A LOT! :) There are a lot of exciting things happening at ODBD to celebrate their second anniversary starting on Saturday morning (US time)!!! There are challenges and candy galore culminating in a special reveal on the 17th!!! Make sure you stop by the ODBD Blog each day for details!!! :)
Back to today's card; I started with a base of purple bazzill and layered with white (pierced) and lighter purple. Next I added a piece of Kaisercraft Lilac Avenue DSP and punched one edge with the Martha Stewart Lattice Arch Punch. The next panel is more white, this time punched with the EK Success Dotted Wave Border Punch and layered with more Lilac Avenue DSP. Over the top of both panels I added some light purple satin ribbon. Finally I cut a piece of white with the Label 1 Nestabilities and lightly sponged the centre with Lovely Lilac Ink. I stamped the violets from The Lord has Risen in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with markers and a blender pen and then cut them out and popped them up on foam tape. To finish I added the verse from the same set to the bottom of the card, a few Kaisercraft Snow Pearls to the top corner and a bow made with the Bow Easy to accent the ribbon.
Stamps - The Lord has Risen (ODBD)
Paper - Purple Bazzill (2 shades), White, Kaisercraft Lilac Avenue DSP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Lovely Lilac
Accessories - Label 1 Nestabilities, Martha Stewart Lattice Arch Punch, EK Success Dotted Wave Border Punch, 1/2" Light Purple Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Paper Piercer, Mat Pack, Kaisercraft Snow Pearls, Foam Tape.
That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!! :)

Cute as a Button!!
This week one of the school Mums gave birth to a little baby girl called Amelia Kate. We were so happy for them especially because they already had three sons!!! Of course they are now being showered with PINK!!! :) I decided to use this weeks CPS Sketch Challenge which is being sponsored by JustRite Stampers (with a prize to win) to create a special card!!!
I started with a base of pink bazzill layered with white, lighter pink bazzill and some Nana's Nursery (Girl) DCWV paper. Through the middle is a piece of pink bazzill punched on both sides with the Martha Stewart Floral Lace Border Punch and layered with lighter pink embossed with the Love Language EF. The two rings are made using the borders from JustRite's Stitched with Love set and cut out with two of the Large Circle Nestabilities. The feature panel is created using the same Stitched with Love set for the middle and the custom sentiment made using two 25pt Times New Roman Fonts. I added a little colour with markers and blender pen and cut it out with Small Circle Nestabilities, matting it with pink cut with the Blossom Nestabilities and popped up the middle panel on foam tape. To finish I added some tiny Kaisercraft Snow Pearls to the corners.
Stamps - Stitched with Love, Times New Roman Font (x2) (JustRite)
Paper - Pink Bazzill (2 shades), White, DCWV Nana's Nursery Girl DSP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Pretty in Pink
Accessories - Large and Small Circle Nestabilities, Blossom Nestabilities, Martha Stewart Floral Lace Border Punch, Love Language EF, Markers, Blender Pen, Kaisercraft Snow Pearls, Foam Tape.

OCCC Sympathy
Sadly today I found out that a friend of mine lost her nephew - he was only 23yrs old. Such a hard thing for the family to deal with. I decided to use this week's Our Creative Corner challenge which was a sketch. As is often the case with sympathy occasions, I found myself reaching for the Thinking of You set by JustRite Stampers.
I started with a base of Very Vanilla and layered with Black and then two pieces of the La Creme DCWV paper. Across the join is more VV that has been punched on one side with the Fiskars Lace Border Punch and topped with some 1" Black Satin Ribbon. The focal panel is from Thinking of You by JustRite and has been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black on VV. I then cut it out with Small Oval Nesties and matted with black cut with Large Oval Nesties and than matted again with more VV cut with the Label 11 Nesties and then popped the whole panel up on foam tape. To finish I added some small Kaisercraft Black Pearls to the corners.
Stamps - Thinking of You (JustRite)
Paper - Very Vanilla, Black, La Creme DCWV DSP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Label 11, Small Classic Oval and Large Classic Oval Nestabilities, Fiskars Lace Border Punch, 1" Black Satin Ribbon, Kaisercraft Black Pearls, Foam Tape.

Tags for Boys!
Hello Everyone!!! Today my 8yr old son had to go to a birthday party and the challenge at JustRite Stampers is to create a Terrific Tag. Get out your JustRite stamps and make a tag and you could win a $50 JustRite Gift Voucher!!! Personally I would have preferred to add some pearls or rhinestones, pretty paper and maybe some flowers, but unfortunately boys don't seem to appreciate these finer details! :) These tags are so quick and easy to make and I swear this one took all of 10mins to make!!
I started with a piece of blue bazzill, cut the corners and embossed it with Distressed Stripes EF. Through the middle I added some chocolate bazzill (unfortunately it looks black - but it's dark brown!) and layered with a piece of white that had each side punched with the Fiskars Upper Crest Border Punch (if I can't have pearls, I HAVE to use a punch!!!) and then embossed with the Distressed Striped EF. Next I stamped the centre and border from Birthday Wishes in Not Quiet Navy Ink on white and cut is out with Large Circle Nestabilities, matting it with some darker blue bazzill cut with the Large Pinking Circle Nestabilities. I popped the Pinking Circle up on Foam Tape, punched a 1/2" hole in the top and attached it to the bag handle with a bit of raffia. Super fast and easy!!!! I hope the birthday boy likes this and the Star Wars Lego that is inside the bag!!! :)
Stamps - Birthday Wishes (JustRite)
Paper - Blue Bazzill (2 shades), Brown Bazzill, White
Ink - Not Quite Navy
Accessories - Large Circle and Large Pinking Circle Nestabilities, Distressed Stripes EF, Fiskars Upper Crest Border Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch, Foam Tape.
That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!! :)

MTSC63 Pink Tulips
Hello Everyone! Today I had the chance to play Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge - I loved this sketch and it gave me the chance to open my new Label 11 Nestabilities! I also used the new Breath of Spring set by JustRite Stampers, using this beautiful bouquet of tulips.
I started with a base of pink bazzill, layered with white (pierced) and some MME Pretty Please DSP. Through the middle I attached two pieces of pink satin ribbon and knotted them on the side and then added two Cuttlebug Vintage die cuts to the corners. I've stamped the tulips and borders from Breath of Spring in Memento Tuxedo Black twice and coloured one of the tulips with markers and a blender pen and cut it out and popped it up. The border has been cut with Large Classic Oval Nestabilities and matted with the matching pink scallop and finally framed it all with the new Labels 11. To finish I added some Kaisercraft Rose Pearls to each of the decorated corners and the top and bottom of the Label 11.
Stamps - Breath of Spring (ODBD)
Paper - Pink Bazzill, Smooth White, MME Pretty Please DSP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Label 11, Large Classic Oval, Large Scallop Oval Nestabilities, Cuttlebug Vintage Die, 1/2" Pink Satin Ribbon, Paper Piercer, Matt Pack, Markers, Blender Pen, Kaisercraft Rose Pearls, Foam Tape.
That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!! :)

Masculine Thank You
A friend of mine needed a thank-you card for her daughter's (male) rowing coach and what better than this relaxing beach scene? I really love this image, especially for the dreaded Man Card!! :) What's better is that this is perfect for this month's Dirty Dozen theme!!!
I started with a base of chocolate chip and layered with white and some MME DSP and added another layer of MME DSP. I stamped the image from Flourishes Beach Life set and coloured with markers and a blender pen and matted with chocolate chip cut with the deckled rectangle nestabilities. To finish I added two strands of natural hemp and popped up the sentiment from JustRite's Just a Note set.
Stamps - Just a Note (JustRite), Beach Life (Flourishes)
Paper - Chocolate Chip, White, MME
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Chocolate Chip
Accessories - Markers, Blender Pen, Dauber, Deckled Edge Rectangle Nestabilies, Small and Large Circle Nestabilities, Natural Hemp, Foam Tape.
