Hello Everyone! Get ready to smile because today the Bloom Brigade have lots of cheery goodness from Power Poppy in the form of primroses!! These bright, happy flowers come in a variety of colours and native to western and southern Europe, parts of northern Africa and also south west Asia. Primroses are often named as the February Flower (along with the Violet)! Apparently, if you give someone a primrose it lets that 'someone' know you can't live without them! For our February Release, let me introduce you to......Potted Primroses!
I've used a base of Daffodil Delight and layered with white and Violet Crush DP. Across this is another piece of white punched with a scallop border punch and topped with more Violet Crush. Around these layers I've attached a piece of white ribbon. I've stamped the flowers and sentiment from Potted Primroses in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (E30, E31, E35, 39, G12, G24, G28, Y11, Y15, Y17, E93, E95, E97, E17, E21, RV21, RV23, RV63, RV66, C5, W0, 0). I've cut this out with Spellbinders' Labels 40 and matted it with Daffodil Delight cut with Labels 40 Decorative Elements. I've popped this up on X-press It Foam Tape and finished with a bow and swirl clip tied with yellow gingham ribbon.

Short Stacks!
Hello Everyone!! Are you ready for some fun inspiration?!! Today the Power Poppy Bloom Brigade have some fabby stacked things to show you!! Whether it be cups, books, plants or a mixture of interesting odds and ends, you're bound to find something you love! Introducing.....Short Stacks!
Normally I am not a 'bird' type of girl, but I have to admit to a little squeal of delight to see this cute little budgie type birdie! Budgerigar's are a small seed-eating parrot that are native to Australia, so you can understand the excitement! :)
I've used a base of white and layered with blue cut with Spellbinders Majestic Labels 25 and attached a piece of pink ribbon around it. Next I've cut a piece of green with Labels 25 and topped it with more blue cut with the same sized die from Majestic Labels 25. I've stamped the cups stack and sentiment from Short Stacks in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics. (There were quite a lot and I forgot to take note of them all sorry! The Budgie is Y11, Y15, YG11 and YG13.) I've cut this with the next size die from Labels 25 and attached as shown. To finish I've added a bow to the ribbon.
Stamps - Short Stacks (Power Poppy)
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Marina Mist, Old Olive, White

Orchids Rock
Hello Everyone! It's Day One of an absolutely awesome Power Poppy Release!! Just wait until you see all the sets this week! Today we have one of my favourite florals.....orchids! These gorgeous flowers love to grow where I live, although the Lady Slipper Orchid I've featured today is actually found across North America, Asia and Europe. It's also the state flower of Minnesota and official provincial flower of Canada's Prince Edward Island! Let me introduce you to ORCHIDS ROCK!
I've used a base of Rich Razzleberry layered with some Cottage Wall (ret.) DP and then wrapped a piece of ribbon around the middle. Next I've cut another piece of Rich Razzleberry with the largest die from Spellbinders' Regal Frame dies, attached it as shown and then added a piece of white ribbon over the top. I've cut this out with the second largest die from the Regal Frame set. I've really let the orchids do all the talking on this card and finished with a bow and some buttons.

Happy Australia Day Week-End!
Hello Everyone! Have you noticed - Inspired to Stamp has had a bit of a makeover! Now I can post larger pictures so you can see them a bit better and streamlined the blog so it's not so busy!!! I'm busy enough as it is, my eyes don't need to be busy as well!! :) If you are looking for past design work and my favourite blogs to visit you can find the tabs up above, just under the banner.
So, now that I've given you an eye full of G'day Izzy, let's have a chat about that! This stamp is by CandiBeans and I thought she'd be *PERFECT* for Australia Day!! For those of you who don't know, Australia Day is on January 26th, so we have a lovely long week-end downunder to celebrate! I'm kicking off the week-end with my own celebratory card! If you know an Aussie, why not wish them a Happy Australia Day on Monday! :)
Now, I actually made this card last week and created a tutorial showing how to texture the kangaroo on the Copic Oz Blog - you can find all those details and Copic Colours used HERE! The rest of the details are pretty straight forward!
I've used a base of Old Olive and layered with white and some Kaisercraft Tea Party DP. Down one side I've added a strip of Daffodil Delight punched with Woodland Branch border punch. Follow the instructions at Copic Oz for stamping and colouring the image and cut her out with Spellbinders Labels Thirty-Nine die. Mat this with Old Olive cut with Labels Forty Decorative Elements. That's it! Super quick and easy card that is also less expensive to post!

A Little Winter Pick Me Up
Hello Everyone!! Although it is hot, humid and the middle of Summer where I live right now, I know some of my readers are shivering in the middle of Winter surrounded by snow. I'm hoping today's card brings a little cheery warmth your way!
I've actually used two of the latest Power Poppy Digi stamps - Winter Pick Me Up for the image and the sentiment is from Camellias. I really like this sentiment and thought it would work well with the warmer, happier colours - and besides, life is so much better with friends is it not!! :)
I've used a base of Wisteria Wonder and layered with white and some MME Ooh La La DP. Down the side is a strip of white punched with a Lattice Border Punch and topped with more Ooh La La DP and a piece of white ribbon. The image and sentiment have been printed onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (V20, V22, V25, G40, G43, G46, W1, N1, YR30, YR31, Y26, Y28). I've cut the bouquet out with Small Oval Nestabilities and matted it with Wisteria Wonder cut with Elegant Oval Nestabilities and popped it up on X-press It Foam Tape. I've cut the sentiment into a notched tag and attached as shown and finished by adding a few pearls to the top corner.
Stamps - Winter Pick Me Up, Camellias (Power Poppy)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Wisteria Wonder, White, MME Ooh La La DP
Ink - Printer
Accessories - Copics, Spellbinders Small Oval Nestabilities and Elegant Ovals, Martha Stewart Border Punch, White Ribbon, White Pearls, X-press It Foam Tape
That's all from me today, I hope wherever you are that you have a great week-end and stay warm.....or cool depending on where you live!! Thanks for visiting and hope you are inspired to stamp! :)

Floral Basket
Hello Everyone!! Did you enjoy all the floral goodness yesterday??? Well sit back because there is more today to brighten your day! Take a stroll through the JustRite garden and be inspired by their latest offerings - Floral Basket and the Reversed Crackle Cling Background stamps.
So I suppose you've noticed that I haven't used the Reversed Crackle, but instead I have a sneak peek of a background you'll see more of later in the week called Celtic Lattice. :) I've used a base of vintage pink Bazzill and cut the corners with a corner rounder. I've layered with Baked Brown Sugar and also cropped the corners. Next I've stamped the Celtic Lattice in Memento Lulu Lavender onto white card, but then decided to tone it down a bit and airbrushed it with V01 Copic and then also cropped the corners. I've used Spellbinders A2 Scallop Borders One with Vintage Pink Bazzill and a piece of Maja Designs DP to make a horizontal panel. I've used the Floral Basket SVG Digital File to cut the basket shape and the sentiment shape and then stamped them with the matching Floral Basket stamps. I've coloured this with Copics - E31, E33, E35, E37, G40, G43, G46, Y21, Y35, Y38, RV000, RV32, RV34, V01, V12, V15, B00, B12, B14. I've glued the basket to the front of the card and popped the sentiment up on foam tape. To finish I've added some pearls to the corners.
Stamps - Floral Basket, Celtic Lattice Background (JustRite)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Vintage Pink Bazzill, Baked Brown Sugar, Maja Designs DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Lulu Lavender
Accessories - Copics, JustRite Floral Basket SVG Digital File, Silhouette Machine, Spellbinders A2 Scallop Borders One, Corner Rounder, Kaisercraft Snow Pearls, X-press It Foam Tape

Lilac Blossoms
Hello Everyone! Hope you've all have a fabulous start to the new year and for those of you soon heading to CHA ---- I'm soooooo jealous!! :) Now that it's January, it's time for the latest JustRite Papercraft release - part of their CHA Winter Release! Today it's a GORGEOUS floral set called Lilac Blossoms and a beautiful and super useful background called Script Background!
I've used both these sets for my card today - I love how you can create a vintage feel with them. Firstly I've created a base using the largest die from Spellbinders' Radiant Rectangles. Then I've used the same die to cut a piece of Very Vanilla and put it over the top. The cut a piece of purple card using the largest two dies from the same set and attach to the top. Stamp the Script Background in Memento Desert Sand onto Very Vanilla and cut with the next smallest die in the set. Attach a purple ribbon around the bottom and glue to the top of the card. Next stamp the large lilac image in Memento Tuxedo Black and the sentiment also from Lilac Blossoms in purple ink. Colour the Lilacs in Copics, fussy cut (or use the matching Lilac Blossoms SVG file!) and pop up on foam tape. Cut the sentiment with an oval die or punch, put up on foam tape. Finish by adding some Chino Pearls to the ribbon.
Stamps - Lilac Blossoms, Script Background (JustRite)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Very Vanilla, Purple Bazzill
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Purple Ink
Accessories - Copics, Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles, Purple Ribbon, Kaisercraft Chino Pearls, X-press It Foam Tape, Oval Punch
