The HUGE JustRite Blog Hop!!!

Hello Everyone!!!! Welcome to this huge Christmas Blog Hop!!!! Not only are there projects from the JustRite Design Team, but we also have so many other talented women joining us for this amazing release!!!! Today JustRite are releasing SIX awesome Christmas Sets and I have chosen to showcase this gorgeous Christmas Joy Set. I decided to make a matching set of easy to produce Christmas items - a Card, a Gift Tag, Placecard and Christmas Cracker.

The Christmas Cracker is made of a tube of cardboard, filled with an assortment of goodies and wrapped in red tissue paper and tied off with some red and gold ribbon. Around the middle is some Basic Grey Wassail DSP and I've topped it with a JustRite centrepiece. I've stamped the 'Joy' centre from Christmas Joy and border twice in Always Artichoke, although the middle I've taken off the colour with a blender pen for the ribbon, sentiment and the berries and coloured them in Ruby Red. I then cut out both the outer and inner ovals with the Large Oval Nestabilities and popped it up the centre with foam tape.

Next the place card I folded a piece of white card and punched the edges with the SU scallop punch and added a strip of Wassail DSP across it and then added tiny Red Kaisercraft pearls to the peaks of the scallops. The name has been stamped using the Trompe Uppercase Font and Trompe Lowercase Font in Jet Black Stazon. The image has been stamped from Christmas Joy in Always Artichoke, once again removing some of the colour with a blender pen and colouring the sentiment and berries in Ruby Red and popping up the centre.

The Gift Tag has been made with a piece of white card with the corners cut to make a tag shape and then the bottom punched with the Scallop Edge Punch. Once again I added a strip of Wassail DSP and the Red Kasiercraft Pearls to the peaks. This time I stamped this super cute penguin from Christmas Joy with the instructions on the border telling the recipient not to open their gift until Christmas! I've coloured him in with markers and popped the entire oval and scallop layer up on foam tape.

Finally I made a matching, easy to reproduce Christmas card using all the same products. The base is Always Artichoke card, layered with white and some Wassail DSP. The red panel is some Ruby Red stamped with a poinsettia image and tied with some white satin ribbon. The image panel is also from Christmas Joy and has been stamped in Jet Black Stazon and coloured with markers. The centre once again has been popped up and I've finished off by adding a few more Red Kaisercraft Pearls to the corners.

I hope you enjoyed my projects today and there are SO MANY more to look at by following the blog list below to these incredibly talented women!!!!

Imagine my surprise to see my name on the place card - does this mean it will be at my place on the Christmas table this year? Love, Mum
