All Things PINK!

Hello Everyone!!  As everyone is probably aware by now, October is the month for Breast Cancer Awareness and it's also the month in which we celebrate World Cardmaking Day!  Flourishes LLC is hosting a challenge - make a non A2 sized card and bonuses if you use ribbon and the colour PINK!  You can read all about it and link your card to the post on the Flourishes Blog!  You have until October 31st to win a fabulous goodie bag from Flourishes!!!  WOOHOO!!  :)

I just LOVE these gorgeous Flourishes roses from their A Year in Flowers 2 set and of course they had to be PINK!!!  :)  I started with a base of white and layered with some pink bazzill and then some MME DP.  The centre panel is more white, punched on the bottom with the Martha Stewart Arch Lattice Border Punch and topped with more pink bazzill embossed with the CB Goochie Script EF.  On top of that is white cut with Large Scallop Circle Nestabilities and topped with more pink cut with the matching Circle Nestabilities that I paper pierced all the way around.  The roses from A Year in Flowers 2 was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (RV000, RV32, RV34, G20, G21, G24, G28) and cut out and popped up on foam tape.  The sentiment is from Flourishes' Tag Lines set and has been cut out with Ribbon Tag Trio die and attached with some pink satin ribbon.  To finish I added some Kaisercraft Snow Pearls to the top corners.

Stamps - A Year in Flowers 2, Tag Lines (Flourishes)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Pink Bazzill, White, MME DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, Large Circle and Scallop Circle Nestabilities, Ribbon Tag Trio Shapeabilities, Martha Stewart Arch Lattice Border Punch, Goochie Script EF, Pink Satin Ribbon, Paper Piercer, Mat Pack, Kaisercraft Snow Pearls, Foam Tape.

That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!!  :)

I LOVE this image. You colored it gorgeously. I love the beautiful paper you used, the ribbon, paper punch.....everything you did combined to one elegant, beautiful card.

I wish you were going to the intermediate certification, too so we could meet.

Have a great weekend! Hugs and smiles
