Welcome to the 10th week of JustRite Stampers’ Wednesday feature, 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hops! Every Wednesday up until Thanksgiving we have been showcasing JustRite’s entire Christmas Collection of stamps! Don’t forget that JustRite has some Christmas stamps in their newly released CLING line of stamp sets, too -- you can find them HERE.
For the month of November we thought we would also throw in some holiday gift ideas for any of your JustRite stamps so be watching for those, too, on November’s hops! And in celebration of JustRite’s 10th week of Christmas Blog Hops, they have a huge surprise for you -- Now through November 29 take 25% off all JustRite Original Christmas stamp sets, with free shipping within the U.S. on orders over $50!
Today's project is a candle and matching gift card that I've made using JustRite's From Our House stamp set. I stamped the center and border in Memento Tuxedo Black onto some Tissue Paper and coloured with Copic Markers (R24, R29, G24, G28, Y17). I then cut the tissue paper close and then placed it on the candle with some waxed paper over the top to keep it smooth and flat and melted the tissue paper into the candle with my heat gun. Then I decided to make a matching gift card for it and once again used the From Our House set, stamping it in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and also coloured it with Copic Markers (R24, R29, R39, G12, G24, G28, Y15, Y17). It was cut out with Large Square Nestabilities and matted it with Riding Hood Red cut with Lacey Squares Nestabilities and popped up on foam tape. The base is made of Riding Hood Red, White, Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly DP and on the corners I've added some white ribbon.

Beautiful gift set. This would make the greatest gifts for co-workers! Thanks for sharing.
The images are great, I love the flow of the border, and it works so well with the nestie, looks great!
Kathy, I just saw your card and candle. Boy what a nice job on both of them but I really like what you did with the candle. I never would have thought to use the heat gun to adhere the image to the candle. Nice how we learn from others on the internet.
