The Beauty of a Garden

Hello Everyone!  As Spring begins to sprout in many parts of the world - let's honour Mother Nature by showing off the beauty of what we find in the garden. Pick your favorite flower and make it the centerpiece of your card or creation! Link up your Bringing Back Beautiful Challenge creations on the Flourishes Blog to enter. If you upload to SCS, please use the keyword BBB22. You have until May 31 to enter! As we unveil our challenge for next month, we’ll share our True Beauties – those card makers who wowed us with this challenge! Winners will be featured on the Flourishes Blog and will receive a True Beauty blog button to display proudly on their blog!

Our favourite Beauty from this challenge will also be asked to play along with the team for the next challenge, so play along and let's see all those beautiful Garden creations!!

I've made my card on a base of aqua bazzill and layered with yellow, a piece of Very Vanilla and some Prima Sun Kiss DP.  Down one side is another piece of Sun Kiss matted with more aqua and wrapped with yellow grosgrain ribbon.  The sentiment, my New Zealand friends will notice, is a Maori Proverb from Sunflowers and has been stamped directly on the checked Sun Kiss paper, cut with Large Oval Nestabilities and framed with Vanilla cut with Floral Oval Nestabilities.  The large Sunflower image also from Sunflowers stamp set, has been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with Copics (Y21, Y35, Y38, R35, R37, G20, G21, G24, G28, YR24, E33), cut out and popped up on foam tape.  I've finished by adding a bow and a few Yellow Pearls.

Stamps - Sunflowers (Flourishes)
Paper - Blending Card, Aqua Bazzill, Yellow Bazzill, Very Vanilla,  Prima Sun Kiss DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, Floral Oval Nestabilities, Large Oval Nestabilities, Yellow Grosgrain Ribbon, Bow Easy, Yellow Pearls, Scissors, High Tack Foam Tape.

Don't miss all the beautiful garden creations the team have for you this month!
That's all for today, thanks for visiting and hope you play along with us this month!!!!
