French Lilac

Hello Everyone!!  Did you see on the 15th that Power Poppy released its latest digi in their Instant Garden??  The Instant Gardeners did a GORGEOUS job of showing off this beauty and now the Bloom Brigade get to play with it!!  My I introduce.....French Lilac!
http://powerpoppy.com/collections/digital-stamps/products/french-lilac

As a digi, this file can be made larger or smaller to fit your project design and comes with the Thinking of You sentiment.  French Lilacs come in a variety of colours, from cornflower blues, purples, pinks... and they also come in white, yellow, and red!  What colour do YOU want to make them???  I've gone with a pink/purple palette for my project, I guess that's just what called out to me.  Now I know most people would arrange this with the flower pointed up, but I went with the hanging down look - figured I'd be a bit different!  :)

I've started with a base of purple bazzill, layered with white and topped with more purple cut with Spellbinders Tranquil Moments die.  Around this I've attached a piece of silver ribbon.  I've printed the French Lilac image and sentiment onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured it with Copics (V01, V12, V15, V91, V93, E23, E27, YG21, YG91, YG93, YG97, R24, R59).  I've then used the largest Spellbinders Elegant Ovals die to cut it out and then popped it up on foam tape.  To finish I've added a silver bow to the ribbon.

Stamp - French Lilac (Power Poppy)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Purple Bazzill, White
Ink - Printer
Accessories - Copics, Spellbinders Tranquil Moments and Elegant Ovals, Silver Ribbon, Bow Easy, X-press It Foam Tape

I know you can't wait to see the beautiful creations the Bloom Brigade have made today, so follow the links and see what awaits!!
That's all from me today, thanks for visiting and hope you are inspired to stamp!!  :)

I love this flower no matter which way you turn it, and when it's colored so beautifully as this... well, be still my heart! Your shading on the leaves is as gorgeous as the little florets. Very pretty with the soft blue around the image, and, oh, those fancy die cuts!
