Masculine Birthday
Hi Everyone! Do you dread those 'Man Cards' - yep me too! Of course every now and again you have no choice but to walk down that path and try and make a non-frilly, non-decorative, non-floral masculine card. So I decided to make a large sentiment the focus using JustRite's Grand Handwritten Sentiments and keep it clean and simple.
I've used a base of green bazzill and layered with Baked Brown Sugar and Very Vanilla that has been embossed with Spellbinders' Bricks and Bark embossing folder. Next I've found a couple of random pieces of scrap paper in matching colours from my scrap box (don't you love finding a use for all those little pieces!) and created a couple of notched tags. I've stamped the sentiment from Grand Handwritten Sentiments in Memento Bamboo Leaves onto Very Vanilla, matted it with Baked Brown Sugar and attached as shown. To finish I've added three metal brads to the bottom corner.
Stamps - Grand Handwritten Sentiments (JustRite)
Paper - Very Vanilla, Baked Brown Sugar, Green Bazzill, Random DP
Ink - Memento Bamboo Leaves
Accessories - Spellbinders Bricks and Bark Embossing Folder, Metal Brads

Flowering Branches
Hello Everyone! Did you see the Power Poppy Blog this week?? If so, then you'll know that this image and sentiment is the latest Digi release! You can be amazed by the Instant Gardeners HERE and inspired by the Bloom Brigade HERE! I'm a little late to the party, but I sure had fun colouring this beautiful Flowering Branches image! Inspired by all the Spring flowering branches in the Northern Hemisphere and particularly by Crabapples, Marcella has designed this gorgeous image complete with flowers, leaves and small fruits!
I've used a base of white card folded in half and cut with Spellbinders' 5x7 Detailed Scallops. I've then used the same die to cut a piece of pink card and glued it to the front. I've printed the Flowering Branches Digital Set onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured it with Copics (G40, G43, G46, E21, R000, R00, R11, R12, R14, R81, R83, R85, YG91, YG93, YG23, E23, E27, E47, W0, E41, E42, Y26). I've matted this with same cream card and wrapped a piece of sheer pink ribbon around both layers and attached it to the card front. I've then cut the sentiment with Large Circle Nestabilities (airbrushed it still in the die) and popped it up on Foam Tape and finished by adding a few enamel dots.
Stamps - Flowering Branches (Power Poppy)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Pink, Cream, White
Ink - Printer
Accessories - Copics, Spellbinders 5x7 Detailed Scallops, Large Circle Nestabilities, Enamel Dots, X-press It Foam Tape

Hello Friend
Hello Everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter, I was lucky and had a whole week off as since my week is coming to an end (what? really? already? nooooooooo!) I thought I'd indulge in a little Copic therapy to deal with the fact I'm having to go back to work on Monday. For my therapy session I've used this beautiful floral image from Power Poppy's Simply Camellias stamp set.
I've used a base of pink card and layered with cream and topped that with some English Rose Collection DP. Next I've cut a piece of pink with Decorative Labels 28 die, attached it to the front and then wrapped a green ribbon around it. I've stamped the image from Simply Camellias in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and then coloured with Copics (G40, G43, G46, G99, RV00, RV63, RV66, RV69).
I've cut it out with Labels 28 and popped it up on foam tape. I've then stamped the sentiment and cut it out with an oval punch, run the RV00 marker around the edge and lightly airbrushed the whole sentiment in RV52 and popped it up on foam tape. To finish I've added a bow to the ribbon and pearls to the corners.
Stamps - Simply Camellias (Power Poppy)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Pink, Cream, Kaisercraft English Rose Collection DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, Spellbinders Labels 28 and Decorative Labels 28, Green Ribbon, Bow Easy, Oval Punch, Blush Pearls, X-press It Foam Tape

Hello Everyone! JustRite are continuing their pet themed sets this week, today we are unveiling Furry Friends! This set covers all the special events for people with much loved cats and dogs!
I've used a base of Baja Breeze and layered with Baked Brown Sugar and Tea Party DP. Around this I've attached green and white ribbons. I've used the Painted Lady die to cut a piece of Baked Brown Sugar (make sure you use some waxed paper between the die and card to help get it out!) and then backed it with some green Tea Party DP. I've stamped the sentiment from Furry Friends in black onto white and cut it out with Majestic Labels Twenty-Five die and popped it up on foam tape. I've finished by adding green and white bows to the ribbon and topping it with a blue button tied with silver cord.

Pet Sympathy
Hello Everyone! Today the JR Team are showcasing a new set called Pet Sympathy Sentiments, which as the name suggests is for making a special card for those who have lost their special furry friend. With a couple of cute images, some awesome borders and thoughtful, heartfelt sentiments.
I've used green card and four squares of MME Playtime DP to make the card front. I then cut three pieces of green using Labels One dies and three cream circles using Large Circle Nestabilities. I've cut the bottom square using circle nestabilities (through all layers) and then lined up the cream card base and used a smaller circle die to cut the base card. I've then glued the card front to the base. I've stamped three dogs, the heart, sentiment and paw print from Pet Sympathy Sentiments onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copic Markers and cut them out and popped them up as shown. To finish I've added a little hand drawn 'stitching' using a Copic Multiliner to the yellow squares.
Stamps - Pet Sympathy (JustRite)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Cream, Green, MME Playtime DP
Ink - Black
Accessories - Copic Markers, Spellbinders Small and Large Circle Nestabilities, Labels One, Multiliner

Power Poppy April Release Hop!
Hello Everyone!!! It's Power Poppy Release Day!!! YAY!!! That means the sets you've seen for the last few days on the Bloom Brigade Blogs are available right NOW!!! So which set is your favourite?? Can't decide? Buy them all!! LOL!!! I can't decide which is my favourite either, but today I've focused my creative juices on this amazing daffodil and grape hyacinth bouquet from Daffodils.
I've created the card front out of Marina Mist layered with White and two pieces of FabScraps DP. Across the join of the DP I've attached some white lace topped with yellow ribbon. I've stamped this incredible image from Daffodils in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured it with Copics (Y11, Y17, Y21, Y26, Y35, Y38, YG00, G40, G43, G46, B60, B63, B66, B00, B12, B14, C1, C3). I've fussy cut this out and popped it up on a piece of white cut with Spellbinders Oval Bliss. I've stamped the sentiment, also from Daffodils, onto white and cut it into a notched tag and inserted it under the image panel and then added a bow to the ribbon. I finished by popping the entire card front up on X-press It High Tac Foam Tape on a white card base.
Stamps - Daffodils (Power Poppy)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Marina Mist, White, FabScraps Shabby Blues DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black

Grand Handwritten Sentiments
Hello Everyone! Today is the beginning of the JustRite Papercraft April Release and if you love sentiments.....really big, fabulous, handwritten sentiments, then this set is for you!! Introducing Grand Handwritten Sentiments.....
We also have a background stamp today - Burlap Chevron Background and think of all the possibilities with this one!! Use it whole as a background, cut up the chevron and use as accents....or you can make a fabulous notched tag like I did! :)
I've used a base of Marina Mist and layered with cream card and Maja Designs DP. Next I've stamped the Burlap Chevron Background in brown onto cream and then turned it into a notched tag. I've created another tag out of the reverse of the DP I used before. Around this I've added a piece of blue ribbon topping it with a Prima flower and leaves, some green card cut using Spellbinders Foliage Flourish. The sentiment, from Grand Handwritten Sentiments has been stamped in blue and cut with 5x7 Mystical Embrace which I've then airbrushed with Copic B21 while it was still in the die. I've popped this up on foam tape and added a few pearls to the ribbon to finish.
Stamps - Grand Handwritten Sentiments, Burlap Chevron Background (JustRite)
Paper - Marina Mist, Cream, White, Maja Designs 4th of April DP
Ink - Blue, Brown
Accessories - Spellbinders 5x7 Mystical Embrace, Foliage Flourish, Prima Flower and Leaves, Blue Ribbon, White Pearls
