Hello Everyone!! It's Power Poppy Friday and time to have a peek at what the Bloomies have been up to this week! So what have I been playing with?? It's also a new digi called Sweet Simple Things (you may have seen this image coloured in progress on my Instagram!) - don't you love this sweet beehive?!! I used lots and lots of Copics to colour this up all pretty which is good therapy when it's cold and the middle of Winter and you want a little sunshine in your day! As it's a Beehive....it's PERFECT for this month's Power and Spark Challenge to create a 'B' themed card - I've also used Banners and a Bow and can you see the little Bees in the image!! So much 'B' goodness to be found!
I've also used the sentiment from Sweet Simple Things to feature on the inside, highlighting the word 'sweet' and 'Laura Ingalls Wilder' with yellow Copic markers.

Oh, Kathy, what a gorgeous card! I love the DP you've used and the beautiful decorative along with the grosgrain ribbon. But it's always your absolutely amazing coloring that so intrigues me. I always love to see close-ups at how you've shaded and added highlights. I so admire your skill and continue to practice and practice more. Beautifully done, and I love all the "B's" you've added for this month's fabulous challenge! Big hugs, sweet friend, and keep warm!!

Kathy your beehive is so sweet and pretty. The springy papers are perfect and I do like the double fish tailed ends. Charming card!
It sure is a beautiful Power Poppy day! Lots to see. I love this digi and how you've colored it. So cheerful and summery, and the dies and design are fabulous! The bow is just perfect. Love the soft yellow of the bow and card base. And inside -- just love how you placed the sentiment and gave it that little bit of color. You had your Power Poppy groove on when you made this, for sure, Kathy!
