Frangipani Box
Hello Everyone! Today I have a cute, quick giftbox to show you! I work for a small family owned business and whenever anyone celebrates a birthday (there's only 10!), I make a little giftbox and fill it with a bag of chocolates to mark the occasion. This month belongs to one of the girls who happens to love the colour purple......thus the deep purple Glorious Gable Box! I thought it needed a little lift, so I've paired this up with a white Frangipani, leaves and some Ferns! While the Frangipani was still in the die, I've airbrushed it with a light yellow Copic. To finish I've added a yellow pearl for a touch of bling!
She loved it and loved the Raspberry and Dark Chocolate balls that went inside too! :)
Stamps - NONE
Ink - NONE
Paper - Purple, White, Dark Green, Light Green
Accessories - ODBD Dies: Glorious Gable Box, Frangipani, Ferns; Airbrush, Y13 Copic, glue.
That's all from me today, thanks for visiting and hope you are inspired to stamp! :)

Thankful Poppies
Hello Everyone, today at 11am, we mark the 100th Anniversary of Armistice Day. A day to reflect on the sacrifice of so many called to fight for their countries. The Great War, the War to End All Wars - sadly that is not the case and still the world continues it's battles and the men and women are still on the frontline, if not in the same manner of those from that time. I think it is hard for most of us to imagine what life was like 100yrs ago, every family and community affected in some way and the wait for news - often months or years of waiting to hear what had happened to loved ones on the other side of the world. We think of old portraits, faces of a different time and forget they they were once just young people who had dreams, played sport, had friends, sweethearts and a bright future. In a small nation like Australia of roughly 5 million people, 62,000 were lost in WW1 here alone. Our country and the world were never the same after WW1 and I pray that the we remember the saying..... Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Let's pray that we never see the world thrown into that sort of destructive turmoil again.
LEST WE FORGET
Today I finally have a card made with an image I coloured up a while ago. This beautiful image is called Perfect Poppies and is a digi image by Power Poppy. I'd made the poppy image and sentiment from Perfect Poppies the size I wanted, printed it off and coloured it up with Copics. I had finished colouring it up and was carefully sponging the edges with some Antique Linen ink, when it turns out I was not so careful and managed to get a bit of ink on my hand and promptly transferred it to the edge of my finished piece. GAH!! So I covered it up with some Tea Bag ink and a stencil! I finished it off with a fancy black frame and die cut a matching piece in white to create the card. :)
This card is also suitable for this month's Power and Spark Challenge over at Power Poppy to make a Thank-You or Thanksgiving card - you can check all the details HERE!
Stamps - Perfect Poppies (Power Poppy)
Ink - Printer, Antique Linen, Tea Bag
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Black
Accessories - Copics, Stencil, Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles Two
That's all from me today, thanks for popping by and hope you are inspired to stamp and remember! :)

November Power and Spark
Hello Everyone!! I'm excited to be bringing you this month's Power and Spark Challenge which is a Thankful Challenge! As you know I'm an Aussie, which means that we don't have Thanksgiving here as that is a uniquely North American holiday but that doesn't mean we don't have things to be thankful for. I am and will always be thankful for my dear hubby and gorgeous children, my parents who have always been there for me and my bestie who has been through the highs and lows beside me for the last 30yrs. November also brings the 97th Birthday of my Grandmother, a very, very special lady in my life who I will always adore and be truly thankful and blessed to have in my life. On the world calendar, 11 November 2018 brings the 100th Anniversary of Armistice Day - a time to reflect and be thankful for all those who have and are still serving for our country. So what are you thankful for?? Play along with us and make a Thank You or Thanksgiving themed project and link up to the Power Poppy Blog!
I'm also thankful that here Down Under that it is Spring! So I've reached for Flower Bomb and made it very large, added the sentiment at the top and printed it out and coloured it with a range of Copics. It really doesn't need much embellishing at all as those beautiful blooms are taking centre stage, so I've matted it with some cream card, added a pink base with a border punch bottom and a few enamel dots to accent.
Stamps - Flower Bomb (Power Poppy)
Ink - Printer
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Cream, Pink
Accessories - Copics, ODBD Double Stitched Rectangles, Martha Stewart Deco Fan Border Punch, Enamel Dots
Want to see what the Bloomies have been thankful about, check them out here.....
Don't forget playing along, linking up gives you the chance to win a $50 Shopping Spree at the Power Poppy store!!
That's all from me today, thanks for popping by and hope you are inspired to stamp and play along with us this month!

Joyful Poinsettias
Hello Everyone!!! It's the start of a new month (can you believe it's NOVEMBER already!) so there is a brand new Our Daily Bread Designs release on the shelves! This month was are getting ready for Christmas with a range of festive themed stamps and dies and I have been playing with Joyful Christmas - a stamp and die duo, and this divine Christmas Collection 2018 paper!!! Love the soft pinks and greens in this gorgeous paper!
I've used some mint green card and the Center Step Card Die to create the base. Next I used two pieces of Christmas Collection 2018 paper and the Center Step Layers dies to cut the panels. Around the base layer I've attached some soft green ribbon and then topped with a bow. I've used Layered Lacey Ovals to cut some white card and then Pierced Ovals to cut the middle out (although any of the oval dies would be fine too, it was just the first one I grabbed). Once I've glued this piece into place, I've stamped the sentiment from Joyful Christmas in black ink as shown. Next I've stamped the poinsettia image from Joyful Christmas in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copic Markers (G40, G43, G46, C5, RV000, R81, R83, R85, YG00, Y26). I've popped this up on foam tape and finished with a few rhinestones.

Paper - ODBD Christmas Collection 2018, Mint Green, White, X-press It Blending card
