Greetings From Paris!

Hello Everyone!  Well I wish I was in Paris, however I will have to take joy in the new Cling set by JustRite Stampers called....Greetings From Paris!!  :)  If you love the Shabby Chic look, then this set is perfect for you and full of fun elements to play with!!!  :)
Shabby Chic does not come naturally to me, but I am blessed to be surrounded by extremely talented ladies on the JR Design Team and I jokingly say that I am channeling my inner Mona for this card!!  LOL!!  Mona, my friend, thanks for the inspiration!!  :)

I began with a base of pink bazzill and layered with Very Vanilla and Chocolate Chip and topped with some Papermania Rose Garden DP.  Next I sponged a doily with Antique Linen ink and adhered it.  Then I stamped the postcard, stamp and Paris panel elements from Greetings from Paris in Memento Rich Cocoa and sponged them too.  The postcard has been cut out with JustRite Stampers' Nested Frame Dies, the stamp was hand cut with scissors and the Paris element is designed to perfectly match the Spellbinders Labels 4 Nestabilities.  I adhered the postcard, added some sheer ribbon, cream lace and pink/brown dotty ribbon and also a brown ZVA rhinestone flourish.  Then I popped the Paris panel and stamp up on foam tape, added a big sheer bow topped with a ZVA rose and some greenery.  Finally I added a few clear and pink buttons 'cause it just needed something else!  :)

Don't miss all the incredible creations that the team has made for you today!!!!

Paris would be nice! I love the busy label stamp in this set, and you balanced it nicely with your bits of shabby, nicely put together!

Ooh La La Kathy, this is fabulous. I noticed a few elements that are not usually your style and you nailed it. Your colors, details and that awesome stamp make this card a winner. I visited Paris 4 years ago and fell in love with it! I've been on and off the site and not caught up on commenting. I think it must be due to Brandon being home for the summer. I just can't find the time or mojo. Haven't made a card in 3 weeks and the one I have on my desk is looking like a disaster! I will comment as much as I can as I love your beautiful work Kathy. Take care!
