Hello Everyone! Can you believe that Christmas will be here in just over 2 months???? Eeeeek!!! Me either!!! Needless to say I have to get cracking on cards and present buying!! Since today is Create with Me Monday on the Flourishes Blog, I've decided to do a tutorial on colouring the red of this Santa Boot from their new Dear Santa set. You can find the tutorial HERE!
To create the card, I've used a base of Riding Hood Red and layered with white and some Echo Park Very Merry DP. Next I've created another panel of more red and the reverse side of the Very Merry DP. I've cut some red with Tear Drop Circle Nestabilities and matted with white cut with Small Circle Nestabilities. The image and sentiment from Dear Santa have been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Xpress It Blending Card and coloured with Copics. I've then cut the boot out with scissors and popped it up on foam tape. The sentiment I've made into a notched tag and attached with some red satin ribbon and bow. To finish I've added a few Kaisercraft Silver Rhinestones to accent.
Stamps - Dear Santa (Flourishes)
Paper - Xpress It Blending Card, Riding Hood Red, White, Echo Park Very Merry DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, Tear Drop Circle and Small Circle Nestabilities, Red Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Kaisercraft Silver Rhinestones.
That's all from me today, thanks for visiting!!
