For the Love of......Family

Welcome to Our Daily Bread Design's Alumni Team's bi-monthly For the Love Blog Hop.  This week the Alumni team along with some of the ODBD designers are featuring a hop For the Love of Family! Check out each link and leave a comment. If you get lost along the way, check the ODBD blog for full list of links.  One of the post is a hop hot spot and a name will be drawn from that list of comments to win a $15 ODBD store gift certificate.  So, all you have to do is hop along and see all the creations and leave a little love!  You have until Wednesday, November 21st at 6 pm.   Enjoy all the beautiful designs featuring For the Love of Family!

If you've arrived here from Deb's Blog then you are in the right place, if not, you may want to start back at the ODBD Blog so you don't miss any of the inspiration along the way!

Today I've used Happy Retirement to make my card, stamping it in Memento Rich Cocoa and colouring it with Copics.  It's been cut out with Large Oval Nestabilities and matted with blue cut with Labels 18.  The base is made of blue, green and some MME Good Day Sunshine paper with a vertical panel of green and the reverse of the MME paper topped with some May Arts Mesh.  To accent I've added several Kaisercraft Blush Pearls.

Your next destination is over to the lovely and so very talented SILKE!!

Thanks for visiting and enjoy the hop!!  :)

I studied your card because at first glance I knew there was DETAIL. The colors are marvelous. I made that hammock out of jute in my macrame days and it was not comfotable. The idea of course is wonderfully whimsical. Pearls.....deep sea diving?

You made it seem easy to make a man card ( unlike a man cold which is very complicated)
I like the colors and layers.
