Now that I've whet your appetite with a sale, lets see what is new at JR!! Today the team a showcasing new DIES - Vintage Labels 7 as well as stamps - Tufted Vintage Labels Seven Cling Background and Hello Daisy! Now I just *LOVE* daisies, so I couldn't help myself and made several things with this yummy flower image.
For the card at the top of this post, I've used a base of Old Olive and layered with brown. Next I've stamped the Tufted Vintage Labels Seven Background Stamp in Memento Bamboo Leaves onto Vanilla card then toned it down by airbrushing green copic over it. Over this I've attached two pieces of ribbon. I've used Vintage Labels Seven Dies to cut another piece of Vanilla and placed it over the middle and the ribbons. Next I've stamped the daisy from Hello Daisy in Memento Rich Cocoa and coloured it with Copics (Y21, Y35, Y38, G40, G43, G46, G28, YR24, E37) and then fussy cut it, popping it up on foam tape. Next I've stamped the sentiment also in Rich Cocoa and cut it out using the end of the smaller sentiment die from Vintage Labels Seven Dies, making it into a tag and then secured it to the ribbon with a bow. I've finished by added LOTS of clear rhinestones to the background.
I loved this Hello Daisy set so much I made a journal and matching card! This time I've coloured the daisies in red using Copics R32, R35, R37, R39, YR24, E37, G20, G21, G24, G28. The Journal has been covered with MME Notable Cute DP then a piece of ribbon added to one side. The daisy was stamped, coloured and fussy cut.....then I realised it would fit on the panel! I've used Spellbinders 5x7 Detailed Scallops Die to cut some vanilla card, airbrushed a little R32 Copic and matted it with red card then glued the daisy to the front. The name has been cut out with Spellbinders Font One - Uppercase (love this font set, now I need to buy the lowercase one to match!!)
The card started with a base of red and layered with vanilla and MME DP. I've cut some vanilla card with Spellbinders Floral Oval Nestabilities and airbrushed the middle with R32 Copic. The daisy has been stamped, cut and coloured as above, fussy cut and glued to the middle of the card. I've finished by adding some Blush Pearls to the corners.
