Hello Everyone! Welcome to the first Flourishes' Beautiful World Tour of 2014!!! If you've jetted in from Meredith's Blog, then you are at the correct destination! If you have come here by chance, why not start back at the Flourishes Blog so you don't miss all the beautiful creations in today's hop! Don't forget to comment for you chance to win as you hop along! :)
This month Anne-Elise is our hostess and has challenged us to create in the Vintage style!
I've used Flourishes' Call Me stamp set for my card - don't you think this old fashioned telephone is just perfect for vintage! :) I've used a base of blue card, layered with white, a lighter shade of blue and then a couple of pieces of FabScraps DP. Next I've added a piece of white diecut with Timeless Rectangles and attached a piece of lace and a dark blue ribbon over the top. I've stamped the phone with Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with Copics, cut with Small Oval Nestabilities and matted with blue card cut with Opulent Ovals Nestabilities and glued to the front. Next I've stamped the sentiment from Call Me, cut it with Tailor Made Classic Tag Die Set and attached it to the card with a button and a bow, also adding a couple of buttons to the top corner.
Hope you are enjoying the hop so far, the next stop in this month's journey is.......ENGLAND!
Thanks for visiting and hope you are inspired to stamp! :)

So very pretty, I love the blue or periwinkle color, I would love to have one of those old phones just for the heck of it. But the stamp and memories will have to do.
WOW! I love how the delicate edges on the Nesties add to the vintage feel of your card. The blues you have used are just perfect too. Thanks for sharing.
Love the addition of buttons and bows.
Very beautiful, thanks for sharing. I had a little duh moment when arriving at your blog; ( 7th of January) I was puzzled. Then I remembered you are a day ahead of us state side (usa)
This is just beautiful in blue, Kathy!
Your blues are so beautiful! Stunning!
It is such a sweet surprise to find that there´s a Flourishes hop going on. Today actually my blog post and card for the day featured an older stamp from Flourishes that I love: Cherry Blossoms.
So it´s such a treat to participate. TY. Have a great week.

Oh, this is precious with a perfect image for this theme, the little buttons, and tag. The dp's and the lace really add to the vintage look and the deep blue is very rich! I love the way you've framed the retro phone with the lacey layers!
Darling card. I love how you colored the stamped image. The striped paper at the bottom makes it extra special. I especially love the die cuts you used. Well done!
Love this card, so sweet! I like the colors you chose.
I love how the lace goes with the lacey die. And I haven't seen a phone like that since I was a kid!
Wonderful card. I like the use of the old fashioned phone.
