Are You A Peep of the Week?

Hello Everyone!  Did you know that Power Poppy has a challenge each Friday?  Sometimes there is a specific theme, but most of the time it's laid back and a fun free for all!!  All you have to do is create something (card, 3D, mixed media, altered item) using Power Poppy stamps, link it up to the Power Poppy Blog, mention Power Poppy in your blog post and you could win a Power Poppy stamp set of your choice!  Why not play along with us?  What?  You don't have any Power Poppy stamps yet.....well it's a good thing there are some Digi stamps to buy at the store so you can play right NOW!  :)

I've started with a base of Marina Mist and layered with White and So Saffron cut with Spellbinders A2 Filigree Delight.  Around this I've attached a piece of white satin ribbon and topped with black gingham ribbon.  I've used Arranging Roses for my card and the sentiment from Countryside Bouquet.  I've arranged the image and sentiment on my computer and printed it out on X-press It Blending Card and then coloured it with Copics (Y21, Y26, Y35, Y38, B00, B12, B14, G12, G24, G28, G40, G43, R32, R35, R37, YG91, C1, C3, W0, YG0000).  It's been cut with the oval die from A2 Filigree Delight and then matted with Marina Mist cut with Lacey Ovals and popped up on X-press It Foam Tape.  To finish I've added a black gingham bow to the ribbon.

Stamps - Arranging Roses, Countryside Bouquet (Power Poppy)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Marina Mist, White, So Saffron
Ink - Printer
Accessories - Copics, Spellbinders A2 Filigree Delight, Lacey Ovals, White Satin Ribbon, Black Gingham Ribbon, Bow Easy, X-press It Foam Tape

Wait until you see all the beautiful creations the Bloom Brigade have for you!!  :)
Come play along with us and maybe you can be the Power Poppy Peep of the Week!  :)  Thanks for visiting and hope you are inspired to stamp!  :)

What a beauty Kathy!! Your lacy background and delicate oval frame are a lovely backdrop to your beautifully colored roses! The gingham ribbon is a wonderful addition too!

What a divine design Ms. Kathy! I love that die cut design -- just sets off your beautifully colored image. The pop of gingham adds a kind of country charm! Fabulous as usual sweet lady!

So, so pretty with the colors you chose and the soft glow around the pitcher. I really love the die cut background. It's kind of a classy country look (how does gingham do that?) and it gets a big WOW from me!
