Flowering Branches
Hello Everyone! Did you see the Power Poppy Blog this week?? If so, then you'll know that this image and sentiment is the latest Digi release! You can be amazed by the Instant Gardeners HERE and inspired by the Bloom Brigade HERE! I'm a little late to the party, but I sure had fun colouring this beautiful Flowering Branches image! Inspired by all the Spring flowering branches in the Northern Hemisphere and particularly by Crabapples, Marcella has designed this gorgeous image complete with flowers, leaves and small fruits!
I've used a base of white card folded in half and cut with Spellbinders' 5x7 Detailed Scallops. I've then used the same die to cut a piece of pink card and glued it to the front. I've printed the Flowering Branches Digital Set onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured it with Copics (G40, G43, G46, E21, R000, R00, R11, R12, R14, R81, R83, R85, YG91, YG93, YG23, E23, E27, E47, W0, E41, E42, Y26). I've matted this with same cream card and wrapped a piece of sheer pink ribbon around both layers and attached it to the card front. I've then cut the sentiment with Large Circle Nestabilities (airbrushed it still in the die) and popped it up on Foam Tape and finished by adding a few enamel dots.

Oh, Kathy, how gorgeous! I just love this image and can't get enough of it and think you've really colored her up "perfectly!!" Stunning colors, and I love how you've gilded the edge and added the sheer ribbon and mounted on this beautiful die! Just love how you've added the sentiment too! It's exquisite and will surely be loved by someone very special!! Hugs!
Gorgeous border and colouring. With our mild winter, our cherry trees were all over and done with three weeks ago!! Crazy! They are soooo beautiful. Love our street when they are in full bloom and the pink snow is always fun too LOL!
Kathy, you rocked this image all large and lovely on your gorgeous die cut card! WOW! I'm stunned!
So pretty!
