Power and Spark Challenge!

Hello Everyone!!!  Thank Goodness It's Friday.......firstly because it's nearly the week-end and secondly because it's Power Poppy Power and Spark Challenge time!!  WOOHOO!!!  I have to say this challenge scared me a little.......using PENCILS!!  For this marker girl, that's a scary challenge!!  But I dug around and found some coloured pencils and some Odourless Mineral Spirit and had a go! If you play along with us, you have the chance to WIN a Power Poppy Stamp Set of your choice.....so, what are you waiting for, let's get moving..........

I've used a base of Chocolate Chip and layered with Very Vanilla and some Attitude DP.  Down the side I've added a strip of Very Vanilla topped with more Attitude DP and added a couple of silver brads that I had to go searching through my stash for!  I've stamped the image and sentiment from Move the Soul in Versafine black ink and then coloured the image with coloured pencils and OMS.  (I also added a little clear stickles to the light to give it a little shine.) I've cut it out with Spellbinders Labels 40 and popped it up on foam tape.

Stamps - Move the Soul (Power Poppy)
Ink - Versafine Black
Paper - Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, White, Kaisercraft Attitude DP
Accessories - Coloured Pencils, Odourless Mineral Spirit, Spellbinders Labels 40, Silver Brads, Clear Stickles, Foam Tape

Wait until you see what the Bloomies have for you today, they are sure to inspire you to reach for those pencils!!
Are you inspired???  Come play with us and you could WIN a free stamp set!!  Thanks for visiting!!  :)

I'm seeing some pretty fabulous pencil coloring here, Kathy! I love how those pencil strokes in the background give a feeling of movement. You're every bit as good with the pencils as you are with Copics!
