A Bountiful Basket of Fun

Hello Everyone!!!  I've been playing with some REALLY FUN new toys recently.......Bountiful Basket and Sewing Dies by Our Daily Bread Designs!!  I love little 3D projects and I just don't make them enough and then this adorable basket die came to live at my house and I was really hooked!

It's really very easy - the Bountiful Basket die set comes with all the pieces you need - cut two of the larger pieces, two circles and two (larger) handles out of your base card (the first time I only cut one handle and then realised when I was trying to construct it......yeah, I face palmed too!).  Next cut two triangles, two smaller handles and two square and rectangles (I actually cut an extra pair of the smaller rectangles as well).  For my project I used Shabby Rose Collection for the pretty, lacey type paper.  Once you adhere all the decorative panels onto their matching parts, simply fold the basket up and glue (High Tack Double Sided Tape is really good) into place and then attach the circles (folded in half - if you are like me, you'll score the centre first) and the handles.

The sentiment is from Woodpecker, stamped in black Versafine ink and then cut with Vintage Labels.  While still in the die, I airbrushed it with Copic BG11 to try and get it to match the paper.  I've then cut many pieces of coloured card using the Sewing Dies (thread spools, buttons and a needle) - I've cut two pieces to make the coloured centred spools and decorated the sentiment panel and also make some little notecards for the inside of the basket.

Stamps - Woodpecker (Our Daily Bread Designs)
Paper - Shabby Rose Collection, Cream, White, Pink, Purple, Aqua, Grey
Ink - Black Versafine
Accessories - ODBD Bountiful Basket Dies, Sewing Dies, Vintage Labels Dies, Glue, X-press It High Tack Double Sided Tape

That's all from me today - I think I need to make another basket so keep a look out in upcoming posts!!  Hope you are inspired to stamp.....and DIE CUT!!  :)
