Power Poppy Hop!

Hello Everyone and welcome to the Power Poppy October Blog Hop!!  Have you been following the Power Poppy and Bloom Brigade Blogs over the last five days??  Are your fingers twitching to create?  Well good news - all the sets are live and ready to buy in the store right now!!  Get your Holiday Groove on people!!  :)

Which of the new clear Holiday sets did I choose today??  I just couldn't go past this fabulous watering can tree from Simple Joys!  I literally squealed when I saw it!  :)  To start, I've used a base of Cherry Cobbler and topped with Very Vanilla (pierced around the edge) and some Christmas Carol DP.  Across this is a strip of Cherry Cobbler topped with Yuletide DP and then I've attached some hessian (burlap) ribbon and ivory satin ribbon.  I've stamped the image and sentiment from Simple Joys in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (R32, R35, R37, R39, G20, G12, G24, G28, E84, E87, Y21, Y26, Y28, C1, C3, C5, W0, W1).  I've cut this into a square and matted with Cherry Cobbler cut with Captivating Squares.  I've popped this up on foam tape and added a bow and a couple of buttons.

Stamps - Simple Joys (Power Poppy)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Kaisercraft Christmas Carol and Yuletide DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, Spellbinders Captivating Squares, Hessian Ribbon, Ivory Ribbon, Bow Easy, Buttons, Paper Piercer, X-press It Foam Tape

Time to swing by the Bloom Brigade Blogs and see what amazing projects they have made for today's hop!

There's even MORE news!!  Power Poppy is having a whopper of a sale!  Buy 4 clear sets....get the 5th FREE..........OR.....buy 4 Digi sets and get the 5th FREE!!!  See below......what is on your wish list???

Hi Kathy, I'm totally in LOVE with this watering can image.I think it and the paperwhites are tied for my fave...but then I'm not so sure...it's too hard to pick just one!!! When I first saw your card I thought the maroon cut out was done with velvet.I had to do a doubletake before realizing it was cardstock. Just beautiful...LOVE!!!

Oh, Kathy! GASP! I scrolled down and just stared! This is GORGEOUS, and the richness of your card is amazing! I love this little watering can too and know it will be a favorite. Now I need to set some coloring time aside. I've decided to participate in the 30 Day Coloring Challenge, so I'll need to stamp some of these up. Your coloring is exquisite and so beautifully shaded, and I love the Cherry Cobbler and this beautiful die! Great framing, and I love the buttons and the ribbons. I absolutely love this and thank you for all the wonderful creations that have inspired me this week! Hope you can rest this weekend now!! Hugs, sweet friend! xoxo
