For today's challenge I decide to use Flourishes' Berry Sweet stamp set and stamped it twice in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card. The first one I coloured in cool greys for a black and white effect (C0, C1, C3, C5, C7, 0) and the second one I coloured the part that would become the spotlight in colours (R32, R35, R37, R39, V99, G24, G28, B000, 0). The spotlight was cut out with Large Circle Nestabilities and matted with black card cut with Small Circle Nestabilities. The grey image was cut out with Large Oval Nestabilities and matted with red card cut with Labels 18 Nestabilities. My base was made with red, white and black card and topped with some Bella Rose DP. The vertical panel is made of black (punched with the MS Iron Gate punch) and topped with more Bella Rose DP and then added some White Crochet Lace. On both panels of the Bella Rose DP I've done some zigzag sewing around the edges. The image panel is popped up on foam tape and I finished by adding some Kaisercraft Snow Pearls to the right corners.

Hi Kathy. Wonderful spotlight technique. I love that you left the image black and just colored in the pop out piece. That's a double pop! Your colors, stitching and border punching look beautiful!
Fabulous spotlighting, Kathy! Makes me want to go and find some raspberries LOL! Great card.
This is so real, you are making me want berries!!! What a beautiful way to showcase a certain part of this gorgeous stamp Kathy! TFS!!!
This is stunning Kathy. I love how you colored the berries black and white then spotlighted some berries. :)

Kathy, your sample simply rocks! I LOVE that you colored the rest of the image in neutral. That makes the spotlight pop so much more!
You know I think you are amazing, right?
Big cyber hugs
Wow what a great card. I love how you "spotlighted" the berries. What a wonderful idea xoxoxoxo

What a great card ... very cool showcasing of a fun technique!
Noice choice of stamp for this technique the red really does pop against the grey shades... and thanks for the paper flashback, I was just fondling that red gingham a few days ago!
I absolutely LOVE how you've paired the gray tones with the pop of spotlighted berries. This is a gorgeous card Kathy!
Gorgeous spotlight card! I love how you colored the first image in the grays and then spotlighted with red. Very effective and beautiful!
