Spice It Up

Hello Everyone!!  It's beginning to smell a lot like Christmas!!  Today's awesome new set will have your senses tingling, it's.....Spice It Up!  With a fresh twist on Christmas stamps, this one brings you orange pomanders to play with and isn't this image yummy!!  You'll find this one along with all the Christmas sets in The Happiest Holiday Collection on the Power Poppy website!  Don't forget you hear all about the new sets from Marcy herself on the Power Poppy Blog!!

I've used a base of cream and layered with Chocolate Chip and some December 25th DP. Next I've cut some cream card using 5x7 Elegant Labels Four and attached ribbons to the front through the die cut.  I've stamped the image from Spice It Up in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (YR00, YR12, YR16, YR18, YR27, G20, 21, G24, G28, G82, G85, E42, E43, E44, R32, R35, R37) and cut it out with Labels Four dies.  While still in the die, I've sponged it with Antique Linen ink and then added tiny dots of Copic Opaque White to the berries to make them shiny!  I've popped this up on foam tape, added some rhinestone swirls and finished with a bow.

Stamps - Spice It Up (Power Poppy)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Cream, Chocolate Chip, Kaisercraft December 25th DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Antique Linen
Accessories - Copics, Spellbinders Labels Four and 5x7 Elegant Labels Four, Light and Dark Ivory Ribbons, Bling Flourish, Bow Easy, X-press It High Tack Foam Tape, Copic Opaque White

Oh, Kathy, this is gorgeous! First of all, I just love this die and how elegant your layout is with the beautiful ribbon and bling. It's stunning. And your coloring is out of this world with this fabulous image! I just love how you've shaded and sponged to really showcase this sweet arrangement. I love this set and am delighted to think of the fragrant cards for Christmas I will make! Hugs!
