I Fought the Contact....

and the contact won.  School in Australia starts back on Wednesday after the Australia Day Holiday, so today I have been finishing off covering books and labeling everything possible.  Contact is NOT my friend!!!  :(  Needless to say, today's card is a nice quick, easy one and bonus....it qualifies for the WT challenge to cut and pop!  :)

I started with a base of light pink bazzill, layered with darker pink and some MME Whirlybird DSP.  The middle panel is more darker pink layered with more MME.  Across the bottom I've added some vanilla grosgrain ribbon.  Popped on top of the ribbon is the present stack from Flourishes 'All Wrapped Up' set that was coloured in markers and cut out.  To finish I added  the sentiment from SU's Elegant Cheer to the corner and some Kaisercraft Rose Pearls to the ribbon.

Stamps - All Wrapped Up (Flourishes), Elegant Cheer (SU)
Paper - Pink and Dark Pink Bazzill, MME Whirlybird DSP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Markers (Regal Rose, Old Olive), Blender Pen, Vanilla Grosgrain Ribbon, Kaisercraft Rose Pearls, Foam Tape.

That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!!  :)

You had me giggling with my mental picture of you having it out with the contact LOL! Thankfully we don't have to cover our books here - the big textbooks stay in the classroom and are used year after year. Glad you got some therapeutic stamping in at least :D

Oh how pretty Kathy!! I love your dp and your colors!! Gorgeous take on the WT challenge.

As a teacher, I used contact paper all the time, I still saw it as a challenge.

big hugs,

LOL Kathy I can relate about the contact - this year it was a tie for me hehe - I am sure they don't make it like they use to.
