FS171 Never be afraid...

It's Sunday and that means it's the Featured Stamper Challenge over at SCS!!  This week the very deserving stamper honoured is Cathleen aka Ctorina!!!  Sometimes you come across a gallery that you could just stay in for days.....Cathleen's is one of those galleries!  Full of gorgeous, elegant designs that are simply divine!  Today I didn't get far and chose her So Sweet card and I have to say, I really didn't change much!  :)  Different paper, different sentiment, different type of flower and slightly different colours --- but over all pretty much the same!  :)

I started with a base of Very Vanilla and layered with blue bazzill and some Memory Box Frond DSP.  Next is more VV, punched on both sides with the Fiskars Upper Crest border punch and layered with more blue and more Frond DSP.  Finally I cut some more VV with the Mega Rectangle Scallop nesties and layered with blue cut with the matching straight nesties.  I cut the VV top panel to nest on top and stamped it using ODBD's new As You Graduate set in Memento Tuxedo Black.  Across the bottom of the panel I added an ivory satin bow and topped it with some yummy prima flowers that were a gift from my BFF Edna!  :)

Stamps - As You Graduate (ODBD)
Paper - Very Vanilla, Blue Bazzill, Memory Box Frond DSP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Mega Rectangle and Mega Scallop Rectangle Nestabilities, 1" Ivory Satin Ribbon, Prima Flowers, Fiskars Upper Crest Border Punch, Kaisercraft Denim Pearl.

That's all for now, thanks for visiting!!!  :)

Before I read your post my reaction was exactly the same, "so sweet!" Those tiny flowers in the dsp are so sweet. I love the tiny scalloped frame around the quote too. My favorite are your perfectly coordinated primas and perfectly tied ribbon...Kathy elegance makes me 'ooooo' and 'ahhhh'.

This is a stunning and elegant card! You have some really lovely work here! I just wanted to send you a quick thank you for your sweet comments on my cards this morning over at SCS. I had a blog subscriber unsubscribe, which is always a little painful since I don't have that many, so your comments really brightened my day! Thanks so much!
