MTSC73 Colourful Challenge!

Hello Everyone!!!  Today I had a chance to play this week's Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge - don't you just love this fun layout!?!  :)  I've also used this super cute Hero Arts stamp that Marianne gave me to make an example for the Australia's Copic Card Challenge which is to use E02, Y06 and BV02.
I just realised the challenge is actually for a standard A6 size card - Ooops! - but you'll forgive me for that won't you??  :)  You have to use the above colours and of course you can use others to compliment and you can colour your embellishments if you'd like (I did!  LOL!!).  There are $450 worth of prizes to be won so get your markers and start colouring!!!  You have until 4 June to send your entries to ...

Copic Card Challenge
P.O.Box 80
Moorabbin VIC 3189

The winner will be announced at the Brisbane Scrapbook and Papercraft Convention, 12-14 June and is open only to Australian residents.

You can find all the details about this challenge at the www.copicmarker.com.au website HERE!!!

I started with a base of purple bazzill and layered with white, yellow bazzill and some Lilac Avenue DSP.  The next panel is more purple bazzill layered with more Lilac Avenue DSP and I've attached some yummy May Arts 1" White Satin Ribbon across the middle.  Next I stamped this sweet Hero Arts girl in Memento Tuxedo Black on X-press It Blending Card and coloured her with my Copics.

Hair - E31, E33, E35, E37, E29
Skin - E00, E02, R20 (blush)
Dress - YG00, YG03, YG06
Flowers - Y00, Y06, BV00, BV02, BV04
Shoes - E33, E35

I then cut her out and glued to a yellow embossed circle which is matted with a white circle and a purple Label 3 die cut.  I popped this whole panel up on foam tape.  Next I stamped the sentiment in Memento Rich Cocoa and added a Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly to the corner of the panel.  To finish I coloured some Clear Kaisercraft Rhinestones with Y06 and added them to the Label 3 panel and also to the butterfly.

Stamps - Girl Holding Flowers (Hero Arts),  Warmest Regards (SU ret)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Purple and Yellow Bazzill, White, Kaisercraft Lilac Avenue DSP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Memento Rich Cocoa
Accessories - Copics, Lg and Small Circle Nestabilities, Label 3 Nestabilities, Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly Punch, May Arts 1" White Satin Ribbon, Cuttlebug Victoria Embossing Folder, Kaisercraft Clear Rhinestones, Foam Tape.

To finish I just want to mention that the Brisbane Copic Certification in June is now Full.....however another one has been announced for October which will coincide with the Art & Craft Fair and I will be teaching this class!!!  For more details go to the Copicmarker website!!!

That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!!  :)
