Happy 80th
Hello Everyone! I recently had a request from a friend to make an 80th Birthday card for her father who was a horse lover. I found myself in a bit of strife when I realised that I didn't actually own a horse stamp - I know right - all the stamps I have and no horses! So I had a bit of a cheat on this one and found a horse image online and printed it in sepia tones as my image for the card.
The rest of the card is quite easy, a base of blue layered with cream (pierced around the edges) and topped with 2 pieces of Vintage Ephemera Collection paper. Over the join I've attached some grosgrain ribbon. I've taken the image, cut it with Circles Dies and matted with blue cut with Pierced Circles Dies. I've cut some deep blue, cream and blue cut withe Pennant Flags Dies and popped the image up on foam tape over the top. Next I've used Large Numbers Dies to cut some cream card and airbrushed it with Copic E84 will it was still in the dies. The sentiment across the bottom is made using the Happy Birthday Script Die and I've finished with a couple of pewter pearls in the top corner.
Stamps - NONE!
Ink - Printer
Paper - Marina Mist, Very Vanilla, White, Blue, ODBD Vintage Ephemera Paper Collection
Accessories - ODBD Dies: Happy Birthday Script, Large Numbers, Circles, Pierced Circles, Pennant Flags; Grosgrain Ribbon, X-press It Foam Tape, Kaisercraft Pewter Pearls
I'm happy to say my friend loved her card and I hope her Dad did too! That's all from me today, thanks for visiting and hope you are inspired to stamp!

Licenced to Drive
Hello Everyone! I have a fun card for you today! Recently one of my young co-workers passed her Driver's Test and is now a P Plater! We were very happy for her - especially since her commute to work has gone from 1 1/2hrs by bus to 1/2hr by car! Of course a card had to be made to celebrate her achievement....
This card is a mix of so many different companies and it was fun to just grab all sorts of products to make a fun card. The basics are a base of pink, layered with Baked Brown Sugar (retired - I REALLY want Stampin' Up to bring this back!) and then a white layer cut with Double Stitched Rectangles Dies (ODBD). Then I've created the background with many pieces of patterned paper, making sure to have a strip of green PP across the bottom. The fence is cut out of white card using the Woodgrain Fence Die by MFT. The image is created from two stamp sets by Waltzing Mouse which has closed its doors, however the Half Pint Heroes and Half Pint Heroines are now available through Gina K. I've stamped this on X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics. The sentiment is from Power Poppy's Dream Wedding set and has been cut out with Pennant Flags by ODBD. The bunting is created with Pennant Row Alphabet stamps and Pennant Row dies by ODBD.
Stamps - Half Pint Heroes and Half Pint Heroines, Pennant Row Alphabet
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Altenew Pinks
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Pink, Baked Brown Sugar, White, Kaisercraft DP
Accessories - Copics, Dies: ODBD Pennant Flags, Pennant Row, Double Stitched Rectangles; MFT Woodgrain Fence, X-press It Foam Tape
That's all from me today, thanks for popping by and hope you are inspired to stamp! :)

Follow Your Heart
Hello Everyone! It's time for another look back at the latest ODBD release which is full of stamps, dies and paper and the theme is all about weddings! I've used several of the latest products in my card today - a lovely stamp set called Happy Wedding Day and two dies called Heart Topiary (to match the stamp - YAY!) and Scalloped Chain (that lovely chain background!) as well as two well loved favs from ODBD - Pennant Flags and Pierced Circles! See that pretty paper - yep, that's new too called Wedding Wishes Paper Collection and it's available now! :)
I've used a base of cream card and layered with some gold paper from Wedding Wishes Paper Collection. Next I've cut a piece of cream card with Scalloped Chain die and placed a piece of patterned paper the same size as the die cut, also from Wedding Wishes behind it. Around these layers I've attached some blue ribbon. Next I've cut a piece of cream using Pierced Circles dies and while still in the die, I've airbrushed a little Y26 Copic for a golden look. I've cut off one side and attached it as shown. Next I've stamped the topiary from Happy Wedding Day in black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured it with Copics (Y21, Y26, Y28, G43, G46, E84, E87, B41, B32) and then die cut it with Heart Topiary die and popped it up on foam tape. Finally I've stamped the sentiment, also from Happy Wedding Day, in Rich Cocoa on cream and die cut it with Pennant Flags and glued it into place.
Stamps - Happy Wedding Day (ODBD)
Paper - Wedding Wishes Paper Collection, X-press It Blending Card, Cream
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Rich Cocoa
Accessories - ODBD Dies: Heart Topiary, Pierced Circles, Scalloped Chain, Pennant Flags; Copics, Blue Ribbon, X-press It Foam Tape
