September Release!

Hello Everyone!!  Today I have a personalised slimline card made for a friend of my daughter.  It's such an easy card to make but makes a big impact!

I've used a cream base die cut with the Slimline Card Base Die and then cut another piece of cream with the new Slimline Bubbles Die.  I like the tone on tone effect and I have to say that I LOVE how easy card comes out of such a detailed die!!  Honestly all those little dots just fall out - happy days!  Next I've cut some Festive Fall Slimline paper with the also new Slimline Pierced Frame die.  The Pierced Frame and Bubbles die cuts are exactly the same size so nice and easy to line up.  With the paper that's left from the inside of the Pierced Fame, I've lined up the letters E, L (x2) and A and die cut and embossed them and then popped each one up on X-press It Foam Tape.  Next I've die cut a couple of butterflies using the solid paper from Festive Fall and the Butterfly Trio Dies.  I've airbrushed them with Black 100 Copic while still in the die and then also popped them up on foam tape.

Ink - NONE
Paper - Divinity Designs Festive Fall, Cream
Accessories - Divinity Designs Dies: Slimline Card Base, Slimline Pierced Frame, Slimline Bubbles, Butterfly Trio, Letters E, L, A; X-press It Foam Tape, Copic Airbrush and 100 Copic Marker.

Friendship Blessings

Hello Everyone!  It's time for a brand new release from Divinity Designs!  If you love Autumn/Fall, Butterflies, Slimline Cards and Friendship themed stamps - then this release is calling your name!  For my above card, I've used the new Slimline Pierced Frame Die, Slimline Bubbles Background Die, Butterfly Layering Combo, Festive Fall Paper Pad and Whole Bunch Stamp Set!

To create this card, I've cut the blue card base with the Slimline Card Base Die, then added a layer of white cut with the Slimline Bubbles Background Die and topped with Festive Fall Paper die cut with Slimline Pierced Frame Die.  I've die cut some leaves using Rose Leaves Dies, airbrushed the veins and then sponged some Peanut Brittle ink on them.  I've created the butterfly using the Butterfly Layering Combo to cut layers of yellow, blue and black.  The Butterfly Layering Combo die set does come with a backing die to create a four layer butterfly - but for this card I decided to leave it at three so you can see through the 'spots'.  To finish I've stamped the sentiment from Whole Bunch onto white card, die cut with Pennant Flags and sponged a little Cantaloupe ink and then popped up on X-press It Foam Tape.

Stamps - Whole Bunch (Divinity Designs)
Ink - Versafine Vintage Sepia, Memento Cantaloupe
Paper - Divinity Designs Festive Fall, Blue, White, Yellow, Black, Green
Accessories - Divinity Designs Dies: Slimline Card Base, Slimline Pierced Frame, Slimline Bubbles, Butterfly Layering Combo, Rose Leaves, Pennant Flags; X-press It Foam Tape

For my second card I've used another new die - the Slimline Rounded Window Die.  This time I've gone the Full Autumn theme!  I've used the Slimline Card Base Die to cut the kraft card base and then used two different papers from Festive Fall Paper Pad and the brand new Slimline Rounded Window Die to create the card front.  I've then created the butterflies using the Butterfly Layering Combo die set and the solid colour papers from the paper pad with a black card base, glued them all together and popped up on X-press It Foam Tape.  To finish I've stamped the sentiment from Whole Bunch onto cream card, die cut with Vintage Labels 2 and sponged a little Wild Honey ink while still in the die and popped it up on X-press It Foam Tape.

Thanks

Hello Everyone!  Today I have a fun thank you card for you using some cute new goodies from Divinity Designs.  I've used Butterfly Trio Dies, Floating Frame Die and Birthday Blooms Stamp/Die Duo.

I've used a base of Rich Razzleberry cut with A2 Portrait Card Base With Layer Die, with the inside panel of cream cut with the layer die from the same set.  Next I've added a layer of River Rock cut with Matting Rectangle and Rustic Beauty paper cut with Floating Frame Die. I've taken the square from the Floating Frame Die set to cut through the River Rock and Razzleberry layers through to the inside.  I've then stamped the flowers and leaves from Birthday Blooms Stamp/Die Duo (I've used a Misti to make sure I've got a good even coverage) and then die cut with the matching die.  Next I've die cut the butterflies using Butterfly Trio Dies and brushed them with purple ink.  I've popped the butterflies and the top flowers up on X-press It Foam Tape.  To finish I've added the 'Thanks' using Wisteria Wonder card and the Thanks for Everything Stamp/Die Duo.

You Are My Lighthouse

Hello Everyone! Today we are showcasing the August Release by Divinity Designs!  I am using the new stamp set called Shine Bright!  I really like this adorable lighthouse and it also has a great combination of sentiments as well!

I've used a blue base and layered with River Rock.  I've stamped the lighthouse and sentiment from Shine Bright in black onto X-press It Blending Card and applied layers of Distress Ink for the sky and sea and coloured the lighthouse with Copics.  I've deliberately added touches of red and yellow down the side of the lighthouse for some reflected light.  I've also added the red band around the middle because I felt I made the lighthouse a little top heavy with the red.  I've framed this with America the Beautiful paper diecut with Pierced Frames.  I felt it looked a bit dark, so I've added a frame of aqua using Lavish Layers.  To finish I've added some River Rock Ribbon, some twine and a nautical charm.

Stamps - Shine Bright (Divinity Designs)
Ink - Black, Distress Inks: Broken China, Stormy Sky, Chipped Sapphire, Hickory Smoke, Peacock Feathers
Paper - Divinity Designs America the Beautiful, Blue, Aqua, River Rock
Accessories - Divinity Designs Dies: Pierced Frames, Lavish Layers; Copics, Spica Pen, River Rock Ribbon, Charm, Glue, Twine

For my second project, I've used the new Accordion Fold with Layers Die for the base card and layers.  It is a loooooooong die at a length of 12 inches, so it is easier with a long platform.  The layers are created using Beautiful Blooms paper.  Around the middle I've used the Belly Band Die to cut a matching base and the Beautiful Blooms paper (solid) for the layers.  I've decorated this with Vintage Labels 2 (airbrushed with R83 Copic) and topped with another diecut stamped with the sentiment from Shine Bright! I've then used Birthday Blooms Stamp/Die Duo to create all the flowers and leaves with a little extra help using my Misti to make sure of even inking!

Stamps - Shine Bright (sentiment), Birthday Blooms SDD (flowers/leaves)
Ink - Memento Angel Pink and New Sprout, Catherine Pooler It's a Girl
Paper - Divinity Designs Beautiful Blooms, Ivory, White
Accessories - Divinity Designs Dies: Accordion Fold with Layers, Belly Band, Vintage Labels 2

So who is the lighthouse in the storm of life that could use a card??  I can think of a couple that are always there to keep me grounded and shines light when I need it and I hope you do too!  Make sure you check out Divinity Designs Blog, FacebookPinterest and Instagram for even more inspiration! Thanks for visiting today and hope you are inspired to stamp!  :)

Emily

Hello Everyone!  Today I have an eclipse card that I've made for my son's girlfriend. Happy Birthday Emily!!  We hope that you have a wonderful, fun filled and very happy day - Best wishes from the Jones'!

Emily is 15 today and I tried to make something "not too over the top", but still classy!  Apparently her favourite colour is blue (me too!!), so I went looking for some pretty, but teenager appropriate paper and came across this cute butterfly paper by Kaisercraft which I thought was perfect.

I've used the Slimline Card Base die for the light blue base, Slimline Rectangles for the dark blue layer and then Slimline Layering Rectangles for the Flutter Kaisercraft layer.  I've taken the Letters E, M, I, L, Y and lay them on the patterned paper........they JUST fit!!  WHEW!!  I've held them in place with some removable tape and ran it through my Platinum die cut machine.  I've then removed the letters from the paper and embossed them before popping them up on foam tape.  To give just a little embellishing, I've added a couple of frangipani and fern die cuts.

Stamps - NONE
Ink - Memento Cantalope (flower centres)
Paper - Kaisercraft Flutter, Light Blue, Dark Blue, White, Green
Accessories - Divinity Designs Dies: Slimline Card Base, Slimline Rectangles, Slimline Layering Rectangles, E, M, I, L, Y, Frangipani, Ferns; Glue

That's all from me today, thanks for popping by and hope you are inspired to create!!  :)

Hello Friend!

Hello Friend!  I know some of you are enjoying the Summer weather, but here in Australia it is Winter and we are dreaming of of those warm, balmy days. So I've made a fun and tropical themed friendship card to kick off today's post.

Using the new Slimline Range from Divinity Designs for the layers - Slimline Card Base for the green base, Slimline Rectangles for the cream layer, Slimline Pierced Window Frame for the yellow layer.  In two of the windows, I've used some Cool and Casual Paper and left the middle one blank.  Across the bottom I've added some green ribbon.  I've stamped the sentiment from Wavy Words stamp/die duo in black ink onto cream card and die cut with the matching die and popped it up on X-press It Foam Tape.  Finally I've added my flowers and greenery using Frangipani Dies and Ferns Dies.

Stamps - Wavy Words SDD (Divinity Designs)
Ink - Versafine Black
Paper - Divinity Designs Cool and Casual Paper, Green, Cream, White and Yellow
Accessories - Divinity Designs Dies: Slimline Card Base, Slimline Rectangles, Slimline Pierced Window Frame, Frangipani, Ferns and Wavy Words SDD; X-press It Foam Tape, Glue, Green Ribbon.

My second project is an A2 Card using the new Raspberries stamp set. I've stamped it in Gray Flannel (lightly stamping it off first to give a second generation/paler image. I've coloured it with Copics and pencils and die cut with Vintage Labels Dies. I've sponged Antique Linen ink around the image while it was still in the die.  I've framed this with red card cut with Vintage Borders.  The card base is created using A2 Portrait Card Base in red, Matting Rectangle in River Rock and then Lattice Background in Cream.  Around these layers I've added some Hessian (Burlap) Ribbon and Red Ribbon.  I've stamped the sentiment from Raspberries in Warm Sepia, die cut with Circles, sponged Antique Linen while still in the die. I've added some cream die cut with Leaves and Branches for just a little accent and popped it up on foam tape.

Stamps - Raspberries (Divinity Designs)
Ink - Gray Flannel, Antique Linen, Warm Sepia
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Red, River Rock, Cream
Accessories - Divinity Designs Dies: A2 Portrait Card Base, Matting Rectangle, Lattice Background, Vintage Labels, Vintage Borders, Circles, Leaves and Branches; Hessian Ribbon, Red Ribbon, X-press It Foam Tape

I've made my last card a Sympathy card and therefore wanted to keep it very subtle and understated.  I've used the Slimline Card Base to cut the blue base and the Slimline Rectangles to cut a cream layer.  I kept it in the die and airbrushed some B21 Copic.  I've then taken the Roses Stencil and some Antique Linen Ink to sponged the pattern background which turned it into this lovely tone on tone effect.  I've topped this with blue cut with Slimline Flower Petal Background.  Around this I've attached some ribbons and die cut the 'Sympathy' from With Sympathy Stamp/Die Duo twice in cream and blue.  To finish I've added some tiny cream pearls.

Stamps - None
Ink - Antique Linen
Stencils - Roses
Accessories - Divinity Designs Dies: Slimline Card Base, Slimline Rectangles, Slimline Flower Petal Background, With Sympathy Stamp/Die Duo; B21 Copic, Ivory Ribbon, Blue Ribbon, Bow Easy, Cream Pearls

July Release!

Hello Everyone!!  This month Divinity Designs has gone Slimline!!!  These long and tall cards are the hottest trend in the market right now and Divinity Designs has a MASSIVE range of goodies including papers and dies to choose from!!

I really wanted to make one card using larger roses since I had so much more space to play with, so  I've created the roses out of pink card using Rose Dies.  For the extra leaves and flourishes, I've cut some green and cream card using Rose Leaves and Leaves and Branches Dies to create the floral explosion.  I've constructed the card base and layers using all the new toys.....I mean....products......

I've used Slimline Card Base Die (you will need a diecut machine with a larger die cut area), for the cream base, Slimline Rectangles for the pink layer,  Slimline Layering Rectangles for the Beautiful Blooms Slimline Paper, Slimline Flower Petal Background for the cream decorative layer (swoooon....love this die!).  For the middle, I've added cream card die cut with Vintage Labels and lightly sponged with cream ink (although to be honest, I think there was a tiny bit of green still on my blender brush so it has a slight green hue) and also die cut a Double Stitched Pennant Flags.  To finish I've added cream card die cut with Happy Birthday Caps and airbrushed with RV32 Copic.

Now this card is not one you would realistically be able to post in the mail, but rather a special hand delivered one.  If you wanted to post it, I would make the roses flat instead of shaped.  But why go flat if you don't have to right!!  :)

Ink - None
Paper - Divinity Designs Beautiful Blooms Slimline Paper, Pink, Green, Cream
Accessories - Divinity Designs Dies: Slimline Card Base, Slimline Rectangles, Slimline Layering Rectangles, Rose, Rose Leaves, Leaves and Branches, Vintage Labels, Double Stitech Pennant Flags, Happy Birthday Caps; X-press It Clear Gel Glue

I have a second slimline card today, this time using a brand new stamp set called Raspberries!  Such a cute stamp set filled with sweet sentiments!

I've used the Slimline Card Base Die to cut the red base, and the Slimline Rectangles for the kraft layer.  I've used the image from Raspberries and versamark ink to stamp around the edges of the kraft layer.  Next I've used Slimline Rectangles and Slimline Layering Rectangles to cut the red and cream layers and wrapped some hessian (burlap) ribbon around it.  Next I've stamped the image from Raspberries in gray ink onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics and pencils.  I've die cut this with Double Stitched Circles and brushed Antique Linen ink around it while still in the die.  I've matted it with red card cut with Scalloped Circles for a delicate edge and popped it up on X-press It Foam Tape.  Finally I've stamped the sentiment from Raspberries in brown ink, die cut with Pennant Flags and matted with red cut with Double Stitched Pennant Flags.

Baby Girl

Hello Everyone!  Today I have a Twist and Pop Up Card for a baby girl!  I know I seem to be addicted to twist and pop cards, but they are just so fun to make and I just can't help myself!!  It's also really cool to see the reactions on the faces of the recipients when they open them.  :)

I've used the A2 Portrait Card Base and Layer Dies to cut the Blushing Bride card base and patterned paper layer.  Matting Rectangle Die has been used to cut the white layer.  All the papers come from the Baby Girl Paper Pad and I've used Pierced Frames and Pennant Row Dies for the frame and bunting.  I've used the Bless This Baby Stamp/Die Duo for the sentiment and 'Baby' diecut.  I've actually diecut 'Baby' 3 times in white and once in the solid colour from the paper pad and glued them all together - this adds some dimension and gives a lot of strength.

Inside, I've used the layer die from A2 Portrait Card Base and Layer Dies to cut the white panels and added strips of patterned paper.  I've cut the (unseen) mechanism panel out of white using Twist and Pop with Layers Dies, and the accordion panel out of Blushing Bride to match the card base.  The layering has been done with matching papers.  To finish I've used the Letters G, I, R, L to die cut the solid paper from the Baby Girl Paper Pad.

Ink - Versafine Warm Sepia
Paper - Divinity Designs Baby Girl Paper Pad, Blushing Bride, White

Mothers

Hello Everyone!  Mothers are amazing aren't they?  I suppose like most people, I think my Mum is the bestest in the whole world, my friend, my confidant, my support, my backstop.....  It doesn't seem to matter how old you get, your Mum is still the one you go to and at the moment it's hard with the Covid19 virus out there for many to see and hug their mothers, so I think a card would be perfect to show a little love.  This sentiment really speaks to me and perfect for all the Mums or Moms out there.

I've used an aqua base and Shabby Rose Paper layer cut with A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer Dies and the white layer cut with Matting Rectangle.  I've cut more white card with Scalloped Chain Die which fits perfectly over the Shabby Rose layer.  Around this I've added some white and aqua ribbons.  Next I've stamped the rose image and sentiment from My World Stamp/Die Duo onto X-press It Blending Card, coloured with Copics and diecut with Pierced Ovals.  I've stamped the three rose image, coloured it with Copics and die cut with the matching die and popped it up on X-press It Foam Tape.  I've matted this with aqua diecut with Layered Lacey Ovals and finished with a big bow.

Going Western

Hello Everyone!!  Today I have another Shirt Card for you!!  This time I've gone with a western style theme.  I've used the Couture Collection Dies for the base card - cut out of brown card - and then the Everyday Shirt Dies to decorate the front.  I've used the Cool and Casual paper collection for the pattern and accented with brown card for the trim, buttons and pocket.

These are so quick and easy to make and such a fun card to give to any male in your life.  Let's face it, masculine cards are often known as "The Dreaded MAN Card" to most of us, so anything that makes it easier has got to be a bonus!

It's Your Day!

Hello Everyone!  After a rough year, I have finally got out my markers and pencils and coloured this big, beautiful bloom from Power Poppy!  It is so commanding of center stage that I really didn't have to do much else to make this shine!

I have a white base and cream layer.  The next layer started as a piece of white card which I then used a blender brush and some Bundled Sage, Brushed Corduroy and a touch of Peacock Feathers.  I've stamped the sentiment from Strong and Beautiful in Vintage Sepia ink in the corner.  Next I've die cut the 'bricks' using white card and Texture 4 Die by Paper Rose.  I've stamped the flower and leaves from Abundant Petals (FYI, this flower also comes in Digital - Big Flouncy Peony) in black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics and some pencil, fussy cut (because I masked this instead of using the matching die!  D'OH!) and then popped up on foam tape.  To finish I've added a few cream sequins.

Stamps - Abundant Petals, Strong and Beautiful (Power Poppy)
Ink - Memento Black, Versafine Vintage Sepia, Distress Inks: Bundled Sage, Brushed Corduroy, Peacock Feathers
Paper - X-press It Blending card, White, Cream

Footsteps and a Suit!

Hello Everyone!!  Today I'm playing with the latest release by Divinity Designs!  For my first project I've made a milk carton using the Milk Carton with Layers Dies to cut the cream base and By The Shore paper layers.  I've used Curvy Slopes to cut another piece of By The Shore paper and attached to the bottom of the carton.  Next I stamped the footprints from Footsteps Stamp/Die Duo in Tea Dye ink and die cut with the matching die.  Next I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Vintage Sepia and die cut with Scalloped Ovals (brushing some Antique Linen ink on while still in the die) and pop up on X-press It Foam Tape.

For my tropical themed card, I've used the A2 Portrait Card Base and Layer to cut the cream base, then added a panel of By The Shore paper, stamping the sentiment from Footsteps directly onto the patterned paper in Vintage Sepia.  I've stamped and die cut the footprints using Footsteps Stamp/Die Duo and also added some cream sequins.  Next I've die cut some Cool and Casual paper using Pierced Frames and then popped the frame up on X-press It Foam Tape.

Once again I've usde Couture Collection Dies  for the base (I've used cream) and then another to cut the Menswear Material to create the shirt.  Next I've used the Suit Jacket Die set to cut the Jacket, Buttons, Pocket Squares and Bow Tie out of Kraft and Red. I've darkened the jacket buttons by spraying the card with E74 Copic and then die cutting them.  Whether you are inspired by any of the Doctor Who's, Agent 007 or even Willy Wonka's purple suit, you are bound to have a fab time creating these suit cards!

Happy 13th Ally!

Hello Everyone!  Today is my daughter Ally's 13th Birthday!!  My youngest child, my baby, is a teenager.  Where did that time go?  I've decided that a special birthday requires a special card and created a Twist and Pop card for her in pretty pinks and creams.

I've used the A2 Portrait Card Base and Layer die for the cream base.  I've used Beautiful Blooms paper and die cut with Pierced Frames dies for the front.  Now I admit, I was doing this late at night and had a chocolate layer underneath and meant to cut the middle piece again with the frames dies to have a small edge showing, but I glued the panel straight down.....sigh!  Across the card I've used Pennant Flags and Treat Tag Dies to cut the notched tags and glued into place.  I've created the circle panel using Fancy Circles, Circles and Pierced Circles.  I've die cut the numbers using Large Numbers and airbrushing with Copic RV95 while still in the die and then popped up on X-press It Foam Tape.  To finish I've added some clear rhinestones to the corners.

Next I made the fun inside!  I've used Matting Rectangle and the A2 Portrait Card Base and Layer die to cut the pink and cream layers.  I've die cut some more Beautiful Blooms paper using the edge of the Scalloped Rectangles Die to create the top and bottom panels.  I've used the Twist and Pop with Layers Dies to create the mechanism (under the pop out panel) and the accordion fold panel and layers.  I've die cut some cream card using Letter A, Letter L and Letter Y and airbrushed with Copic RV95 while still in the die and then glued as shown.  To finish I've added a few cream sequins.

Beachy 17!

Hello Everyone!!  Can you tell that it's birthday season in my family right now??  So many of our young people have birthdays from late April to early June and this one is heading to my nephew who lives near the beach, loves fishing and being active outdoors.

I'm addicted to these twist and pop up cards and have another one for you today!  The Twist and Pop with Layers Die set is available to order from Divinity Designs and should be shipping on 30th May.  :)

I've created this card with the A2 Portrait Base and Layer dies to make the base of blue, the kraft layer is cut with Matting Rectangle and then I've cut some By The Shore paper with the Layer die.  At the bottom I've created the little scene using Curvy Slopes and By The Shore paper for the sand dues, the Grass Lawn Die for the green grass, the Fence Die to make the white fence.  I've die cut the surfboard paper using Rectangles die, matted with blue card and framed with kraft cut with Pierced Rectangles.  I've used Large Number Dies to cut kraft card and airbrushed some E87 Copic while it was still in the die and finally die cut some flags (swim between the red and yellow flags people! Aussies will understand that!) using Pennant Flags.

For the inside, I've used the layer die again to cut the kraft panels and added strips of By The Shore paper.   I've then cut the twist and pop panel in white (behind the accordion panel) using the Twist and Pop with Layers Dies and glued it into place following the instructions on the pack.  I've cut the longer panel out of blue and the layers of By The Shore paper all using the same Twist and Pop with Layers Dies.  I've used Letter H, Letter B, Letter U and Large Number Dies to decorate the panels.

Twist and Pop 15th!

Hello Everyone!  Today I have another Twist and Pop Up Card, this time for my son who is 15yrs today!  No longer my little Benasaurus, he towers a good foot over me these days, but I love him to bits still.  Happy Birthday Ben!

I decided to make him something a little extra special, especially considering we are still enduring the effects of the pandemic and celebrating a birthday is somewhat subdued.  I made him a Twist and Pop Up card - now he's grown up with handmade cards all his life and he nodded his approval at the closed card when it came out of the envelope, but his expression when it popped out was awesome!!

I've used the A2 Portrait Card Base and Layer die to cut the red base and patterned paper layer (using America the Beautiful Paper Pad).  I've used the Matting Rectangle for the white card layer.  I've added a piece of black mesh ribbon across the card.  Next I created the focal panel of blue, die cut with Large Banner Die, black cut with Pierced Circles, red cut with Sparkling Stars and silver paper cut with Large Numbers to create the 15.  I've popped this whole panel up on foam tape.  I've then used Curvy Slopes Die to cut a piece of black card for the bottom and accented with a silver star and some silver pearls.

For the inside, I've used the A2 Portrait Card Base and Layer to cut the white card layer and then added a strip of America the Beautiful Paper on each side.  I've used the Twist and Pop with Layers dies to create the pop up mechanism and panel, accenting with America the Beautiful Paper and then added silver and black stars using Sparkling Stars and created his name using Letter B, Letter E and Letter N dies.

Sweet 16!

Hello Everyone!  Today I have a card inspired by this week's Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper Challenge and is also a card for my niece's birthday.  I was inspired by the Blue Daisies card in the Featured Stamper Gallery, keeping the colour palette, layout and floral inspiration.

I've used the A2 Portrait Card base and Layer die for the base, Matting Rectangle to cut the Romantic Roses paper layer and Scalloped Chain for the next white layer.  Next I've added another strip of Romantic Roses paper and topped it with white card cut with Flower Lattice Die.  I've cut a piece of white using Double Pierced Vintage Labels and airbrushed it with Copic BG72 white still in the die.  I've stamped the flowers from My World in Gray Flannel in and coloured with Copics and pencil and die cutting with the matching die.  I've added greenery using the Pretty Posies and Leaves and Branches Dies.  To finish I've die cut the 16 using Large Numbers Dies, also airbrushing with BG72 while still in the die and popped them up on foam tape.

Mother's Day

Hello Everyone! Today I have a Twist and Pop Card that I made for my Mum for Mother's Day.  I've used a range of new products by Divinity Designs including the Twist and Pop Dies used to create this awesome pop out inside!  My Mum has had a rough year; three months ago we found out her cancer has returned and she's been undergoing treatment since then.  I wanted to make sure that this Mother's Day Card was something with extra pizazz and hopefully brings a smile to her face!

I've used the A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer to cut the purple base (her favourite colour!), layered with white (cut with Matting Rectangle) and topped with Watercolor Paper cut with the matting layer in the A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer set.  Next I've used Lavish Layers and Delicate Doily to cut white card and Pierced Circles to cut a piece of gold.  I've stamped the sentiment from My World SDD onto white card and cut with Circles Die.  I've then stamped the roses from My World onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics and cut with the matching die.  I've accented with leaves cut with Pretty Posies and Leaves and Branches Dies.

To decorate the inside of this card, I've used the A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer to cut the Watercolor Paper layered.  I've then cut gold card using Delicate Doily and cut it in half to decorate the middle so that it frames the twist and pop section.  I've then used the Trellis Strip die to cut a piece of white card, trimmed to size and sliced in half to decorate the top and bottom.  Next I've cut the Twist and Pop mechanism panel out of white and the accordion panel in purple using the new Twist and Pop with Layers Dies and followed the instructions to glue it all together.  I've taken a piece of white card and brushed on some Sugared Lavender ink using the Roses Mixed Media Stencil and then die cut with the layer die from Twist and Pop with Layers Dies.  I've then decorated the panels using Layering Hearts, Long and Lean Letters, My World (rose stamp and die), Pretty Posies, Leaves and Branches.
