Precious Baby

Hello Everyone!  Here we are - Day FIVE of the Power Poppy Creative and Curious Release!  Finally ALL the sets are available to purchase RIGHT NOW!!  Before you run off to buy your favourite - today the Bloomies have two new clear sets to showcase!!  I'm using this super cute and totally fab new BABY set called Precious Baby!  It comes with three smaller images and sentiments for the latest edition to the family!  I thought this was rather apt considering today is my son's birthday and I'm remembering that little bundle of boy that arrived 13yrs ago!

I've used a base of blue, topped with cream and white and more blue cut with A2 Filigree Delight.  Around this are pieces of white and blue ribbons.  I've stamped this cut pea pod image from Precious Baby in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics.  I've cut this with the oval die from A2 Filigree Delight, matted with green cut with Elegant Ovals and matted again with cream cut with Labels 25.  I've popped this panel up on X-press It Foam Tape.  The sentiment is also from Precious Baby, die cut with Large Circles and airbrushed with YG23 Copic and also popped up on foam tape.  To finish I've added a blue bow!

Stamps - Precious Baby (Power Poppy)
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Blue, Cream, White, Green

Cheerful Columbine

Hello Everyone!!  It's Day Four of the fabulous new Power Poppy Release!!  Today we have three new sets to sneak peek and I'm using a new clear set called Cheerful Columbine!  This big, bold image is a lot of fun to colour and of course you don't have to use the whole image - it's perfect for cropping too!

I've used an aqua base and topped it with brown spotty paper matted with dark purple card.  Around this I've added hessian ribbon and green satin ribbon.  The image and sentiment from Cheerful Columbine has been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with a whole range of Copics!  :)  I've cut this out with a stitched rectangle die and matted with more of the dark purple card and popped the whole thing up on X-press It Foam Tape.  To finish I've add a few drops of silver crystal drops.

Always Here

Hello Everyone!  It's sneak peek week at Power Poppy and there are an AMAZING ELEVEN brand new sets!!  Today I'm using Always Here and I've decided to take the large image and cut it up into three small squares to create a different look!

I've gone with a light and fresh feel using a base of white and layering with aqua card and topping with embossed white.  Next I've stamped the large image from Always Here in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and then cut three squares of it to showcase various parts.  I've coloured each of these with Copics and then die cut the trio square strip of white card and matted it with aqua card.  The sentiment is also from Always Here, stamped in black and then die cut with a stitched tag die and put under the long panel.  To finish I've added three rhinestones to the corner.

Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, White, Aqua

For the Coffee Lovers!

Hello Everyone!  Today the Bread Basket are playing with the latest release stamps and dies from Our Daily Bread Designs!  This month, I've been playing with all things COFFEE!!  There's a new fun Stamp and Die Duo Set called Hug in a Mug!  Full of super cute coffee themed sentiments and two awesome coffee cup images with MATCHING DIES all included!!  I'm loving the duo sets!

My first card has a cream base, a light brown layer, more cream and then a panel of dark paper from Latte Love paper pad.......yeppers, ODBD has coffee themed paper as well!!!  I've then added a patterned paper layer using Latte Love, a panel of dark brown and then another panel of the patterned paper.  The two rectangular panels have been cut using Double Stitched Rectangles Dies.  The sentiment and coffee cup from Hug in a Mug have been stamped in black, I've coloured the cup with Copics and cut the sentiment out with Double Stitched Circles Dies.  To finish I've added a couple of buttons.

Stamps - Hug in a Mug Stamp/Die Duo
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper - ODBD Latte Love Paper Pad, Cream, Brown
Accessories - ODBD Dies: Double Stitched Rectangles, Double Stitched Circles, Hug in a Mug Stamp/Die Duo, Copics, Hessian Ribbon, Buttons, X-press It Foam Tape

My second project is actually a Gift Bag without the handles!  I really wanted a box rather than bag and this was perfect!  I've used Card Caddy and Gift Bag Dies to cut panels of cream.  I've added a horizontal strip of burnt orange from Latte Love.  Next I've die cut the patterned paper with Double Stitched Rectangles and matted with dark brown.  Around this I've added some hessian (burlap) ribbon.  The sentiment and coffee cup from Hug in a Mug have been stamped in Rich Cocoa and I've used some Latte Love paper on the coffee cup instead of colouring it this time for a different look than the one above.  The sentiment has been cut out with Double Stitched Circles Die and then popped up on foam tape.

Stamps - Hug in a Mug Stamp/Die Duo (ODBD)
Ink - Rich Cocoa
Paper - ODBD Latte Love Paper Pad, Cream, Chocolate Chip

Tag Trio!

Hello Everyone! This month ODBD released a cute die set called Mini Cups and Mugs and it is so much fun!!  These tiny little dies are perfect for little accents or tags and have so many mix and match bits that I decided to make a set of tags with them!

For all three tags I've used the same die sets - Mini Cups and Mugs, Rounded Rectangles, Double Stitched Rounded Rectangles, Pierced Circles and Pennant Flags - and then used different paper for each one.  I've kept the circles blank so I can write the name on them when required!

The first one is a bit more masculine with a coffee theme, matching it up with Latte Love Paper Pad.

The second one, I've gone more girly/ teen with pinks and teals and created a thickshake/milkshake diecut accent.  You can't really see in this picture, but the top of the cup I've used the ice-cream/cream top and then cut the cup lid out of vellum to make the clear cup lid.  The paper on this tag is from Beautiful Blooms!

The last one, I've gone with a Teacup Theme with a more elegant feel.  I was thinking of my mother who gathers with her friends each week for morning tea and they get out their lovely china cups and saucers.  Mum has some beautiful cup, plate and saucer sets so I've used some pretty Shabby Rose paper to create the cup and saucer and silver paper for the spoon.

Stamps - NONE
Ink - NONE
Paper - Latte Love, Beautiful Blooms, Shabby Rose, Cream, Pink, Green, Brown, White
Accessories - Rounded Rectangles, Double Stitched Rounded Rectangles, Pierced Circles, Pennant Flags, Mini Cups and Mugs

That's all from me today, thanks for visiting and hope you are inspired to die cut!
