As part  of JustRite's October Release they are introducing QR codes to all their new packaging and their catalogs.

CL-02190 ShabbyChicLabelsFour-qrcode_330233 (2) QR codes are popping up everywhere and you may have wondered what they were. What is a QR (Quick Response Code)? QR codes are pixelated squares that you can scan with a smart phone app. Scannning the QR code with your phone will bring you directly to a website or landing page.  The JustRite QR Codes  on the packaging and in JustRites Catalog will link a stamp set to JustRite's Design Gallery for that set.  Now you can scan the code with your phone to see what your favorite designers have created with a set before you purchase the set in your favorite store.  You can use your smartphone to access the design gallery for your stamp set from your craft room when you are ready to use your set or from our mini flyers or catalogs when you are sitting in a car waiting to pick up your child from a sporting event!!
CL-02190 ShabbyChicLabelsFour-qrcode_330233 (2) Here is a smaller version of our Shabby Chic Labels Four QR code for you to play with if you have a smart phone!!  Very cool huh?
You may already have a QR code scanner already on your phone - if you don't you can upload any of these apps - for your iPhone - Red Laser (free),  NeoReader (free),  Optiscan ($1.99)  For your Android Phone - QR Droid.

Introducing Lace Borders

Hello Everyone!!!  Today the JustRite team are showcasing the new Lace Borders Cling Stamp set!!  This set is so versatile that it can be used with any of the JustRite stamps to create beautiful cards!!  Today I've used it to create a soft and subtle border - you know how sometimes your card just needs that little 'something' and you can't figure out what it is??  I've found this is awesome for adding that little something to make my card POP!  :)  For this card, I wanted a subtle frame to keep the soft, delicate feel and paired it up with the sentiment from one of my FAV sets, Butterfly Garden.

I've used a base of Kraft and layered with pink bazzill and more Kraft.  At the top and bottom of this Kraft layer, I've stamped the Lace Border in Memento Angel Pink.  Through the middle I've added more pink bazzill and topped it with Echo Park Victoria Gardens DP.  Over this is some Crochet Lace and pink satin ribbon.  The sentiment is from JustRite's Butterfly Garden and has been stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa, cut with Large Circle Nestabilities and framed with pink bazzill cut with Lacey Circle Nestabilities.  Next I've punched some butterflies and added them to the side, finishing by adding pink pearls to the bodies and along the border.

Stamps - Lace Borders, Butterfly Gardens (JustRite)
Paper - Very Vanilla, Kraft, Pink Bazzill, Echo Park Victoria Gardens DP
Ink - Memento Rich Cocoa, Memento Angel Pink
Accessories - Large Circle and Lacey Circle Nestabilities, MS Butterfly Punch, Crochet Lace, Pink Satin Ribbon, Pink Pearls, Foam Tape.

Autumn Labels 22 Release

Hello Everyone and welcome to the JustRite release of Autumn Labels Twenty Two!!  I was inspired to create this card by this month's Fan Club Inspiration Challenge.  If you are a Fan Club member you can find it HERE.

I've used a base of Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Kraft (pierced) and Basic Grey Pyrus DP.  The next panel is more Kraft and Pyrus and over the top I've added a piece of May Arts Mesh.  I've stamped the largest of the Autumn Labels 22 images in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copic Markers (YR12, YR16, YR18, E23, E25, E40, E41, E43, YG91, YG93, YG95, YG97, G99, B000).  As you can see it's a perfect match for Spellbinders Labels 22 and don't you just loooooove this shape!!!!???  I know I do!!  :)  I've cut it out with the second largest Spellbinder die and then popped it up on foam tape.  To finish I've scattered a few tiny buttons in the corners.

Also - a little enabling for you all - JR is also having a Square Sale!!!  All Square products are now $10 or Less!!  So if there is something you've had your eye on, now's the time to get it!!  :)

Sweet Strawberries

Hello Everyone!!!  Today I played along with the Featured Stamper challenge which is honouring Bensarmom.  I chose to case her Silhouette Flower card and changed the image and sentiment, keeping the overall design and colours.

I started with a base of Riding Hood Red and layered with black and two pieces of Cosmo Cricket Odds and Ends DP.  It's taken me a while to cut into this paper 'cause it's just soooooooo pretty!!!  :)  Over the join I've added a piece of red satin ribbon.  I've stamped the image from Flourishes' Strawberries set in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copic Markers (R02, R32, R35, R37, R39, RV99, YG00, G20, G21, G24, G28, C3, BG0000, BG000, 0).  I've cut it out with Labels 17 Nestabilities and handcut the black mat behind it with scissors.  Next I've stamped the sentiment from Flourishes' Tag Lines set and cut it out with Fancy Tags Shapeabilities, snipping off the extra pieces and matting it with red cut with the same die.  To finish I've accented with clear rhinestones on the sentiment panel and in the corners.

Stamps - Strawberries, Tag Lines (Flourishes)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Riding Hood Red, Black, Cosmo Cricket Odd and Ends DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, Labels 17 Nestabilities, Fancy Tags, Kaisercraft Silver Rhinestones, Foam Tape.

That's all from me today - pop back on Tuesday for the start of the JustRite Stampers release week!!!  :)

Inspired Daffodils

Hello Everyone!!!  Today's card is a quick one I whipped up for this week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast.  I saw this darling daffodil cupckake with blue icing and it became the one that inspired this card!!  :)

I've used a base of blue bazzill and layered with white (pierced) and some Thrift Shop DP (with sewing, can you believe it!).  Next more white punched with Lattice Arch Punch and layered with more Thrift Shop DP.  Across this I've added some seam binding and made a bow topped with a button.  The image is from Flourishes' A Year In Flowers 1 and has been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with Copics (Y21, Y35, Y38, YG11, YG13, YG17, BG0000).  It's been cut out with Large Circle Nestabilities and matted with blue cut with Lacey Circle Nestabilities and popped up on foam tape.

Ballet Goodbye

Hello Everyone!!  I was asked by a dear friend of mine if I could make a good bye card for her daughter's ballet teacher (who happens to have the same name as me.....but no, I'm not going anywhere!!  ;)  ).  I thought this sweet La La Land Ballet Marci would be perfect.  :)  My friend really wanted to put "Good Bye Miss Kathy" on it, so I pulled out my JustRite 15pt Times New Roman Font to create the custom sentiment!!

The base is made of pink bazzill in a long card (my friend wanted lots of room to write) and layered with white and some MME Quite Contrary DP.  Across this is some Old Olive punched with Fiskars Upper Crest border punch, layered with white and more MME DP.  Over this I've added some white satin ribbon.  I've stamped Marci in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (E000, E01, E11, RV10, RV21, RV13, G20, G21, V12, V15, E50, E51, E53, YR21).  I've cut her out with scissors and popped her up on foam tape over a layer of Old Olive cut with Beaded Ovals Nestabilites and white cut with Large Oval Nestabilities.  Next I've added some corner decorations and a rhinestone, the sentiment stamped and cut into a notched tag and secured to the ribbon with a bow.

Stamps - Ballet Marci (La La Land Crafts), 15pt Times New Roman Font (JustRite)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Pink Bazzill, White, Old Olive, MME Quite Contrary DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, Large Oval and Beaded Oval Nestabilities, Fiskars Upper Crest Border Punch, White Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Kaisercraft Silver Rhinestones, Cuttlebug Vintage Dies, Scissors, Foam Tape.

Today I've used Labels 11 Nestaboard for my feature panel and decided to leave it raw.  I seriously thought about painting it, covering it with paper, even glimmermisting it....but in the end decided that it looked fabulous on it's own.  Then I decided that it looked even better with the Black Nestabling around it!!!  LOL!!!  There's just something about black, white and pink!!  I really like how I could cut a piece of paper with the next size down of the Labels 11 and that the Nestabling fits perfectly around it.  *Happy Sigh*  I love a perfect fit!!!
I've used JustRite's Strength and Courage set from the August Release for my feature panel and coloured it with JustRite's Rose Quad Collection.  It was cut out with Spellbinder's Large Oval Nestabilities and popped up on foam tape.  Love the way the Nestaboard and Nestabling frame this image!!!  I can see I'll be wanting them in all the different shapes!!!  :)

Happy Birthday Fella!

Hello Everyone!  Today my Grandfather turns 93yrs old and this is the card I made for him!  To cut a long story short, due to a speech error during my childhood, I've always called him 'Fella'.  Fella has ALWAYS loved cricket, as a young man he played and still loves to watch it on TV.  So, when I saw this stamp by Papermania, I knew it would be perfect for his card this year.  :)

The base is made of green bazzill and layered with white and then a piece of dark green Basic Grey Marjolaine DP.  Next I added two panels of more Marjolaine (which of course when I added all the stuff over the top you can't really see that there are two panels, never mind!!).  I stamped the Cricket Player from Papermania's Nostalgia Pastimes in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (E000, E00, E01, E02, E11, E40, E41, G82, G85, C1) and cut it out with Labels 18 Nestabilities.  Next I stamped the sentiment from JustRite Stampers' Just Because set onto white and cut it out with the Happy Everything Mini Tag Kit die.  I adhered this to a piece of DP that has been cut with Ribbon Tags Trio Three and matted it with green bazzill cut with another of the Ribbon Tags Trio Three dies.  I've popped this up over a piece of white grosgrain ribbon.  (This card would also be perfect for this month's CopicOz challenge to make a sporty card using your Copic Markers!)

Stamps - Nostalgia Pastimes (Papermania), Just Because (JustRite Stampers)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Green Bazzill, White, Basic Grey Marjolaine DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, Label 18 Nestabilities, Ribbon Tags Trio Three Spellbinders, White Grosgrain Ribbon, Foam Tape.

That's all for now, thanks for visiting!!!  :)

I began with a base of blue bazzill and layered with white (pierced) and some Authentique Journey DP.  The next panel is more white punched with the MS Deco Fan punch and layered with Kaisercraft Miss Nelly DP.  Around this I've attached some White Crochet Lace and topped with Blue satin ribbon.  I've stamped the Bellflowers from Flourishes new FLIP set called With Gratitude in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with Copics (G82, G85, BG78, B00, B21, B02).  It was cut out with Small Oval Nestabilities.  I then cut out some light blue bazzill with Fancy Tags Two and cut it in the middle to frame the oval top and bottom and then matted with some blue bazzill cut with Labels 10 Nestabilities and popped it all up on foam tape.  The sentiment is also from With Gratitude and has been stamped straight onto the DP.  To finish I added a blue bow, a white flower and some Kaisercraft Snow Pearls.
