Hello Everyone!! Today I got to play in two challenges - Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge (don't you love this sketch.....might even make another one yet!! ;) ) and The Shabby Tea Room Challenge to either use green or be inspired by nature......obviously I chose the 'green' option!! :)
I started with a base of dark green bazzill and layered with white and some Memory Box Frond DP which I sewed around the edge. For the vertical panel I stamped Brocade Background in ODBD Olive ink on white and matted with more dark green punched with the Arch Lattice border punch. Over this I attached some white grosgrain ribbon. The circle was made by using the largest two circle nestabilities and then I accented with some white pearls. I then stamped the Brocade Borders and sentiment from Peace in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured the frame with Copics (G20, G21, G24) and matted with more dark green and popped it up on foam tape. I finished by adding a white bow made with my Bow Easy to the top corner.
Stamps - Peace, Brocade Borders, Brocade Background (ODBD)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Dark Green Bazzill, White, Memory Box Frond DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, ODBD Olive
Accessories - Copics, Large Circle Nestabilities, Martha Stewart Arch Lattice Punch, White Grosgrain Ribbon, Bow Easy, Sewing Machine, Kaisercraft Snow Pearls, X-press It Foam Tape.
That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!! :)

JustRite Christmas Blog Hop Wednesday 1!!
Hello Everyone and welcome to the JustRite Christmas Hop!! As you may know, over the last couple of months JustRite Stampers have released NINE new Christmas Sets and combined with last year's release, there are now 15 sets available in plenty of time for you to create those beautiful, handmade cards this Christmas!! Mark your calenders - each Wednesday until 24 November, there will be a Hop using all these sets and more to inspire you!!! To sweeten the deal for residents in the USA, there is FREE SHIPPING from September 8 - 10 (midnight PST), just enter the code CBHOP1 when you order!!!
Today I've decided to feature the new Christmas Ornaments and Christmas Nested Sentiments and Verse sets, using this week's Mojo Monday Sketch and as a bonus, it qualifies for this week's Shabby Tea Room challenge to use a Tag and JustRite Stampers Challenge JRC_034 to use Glitter!!! OK - it's only a tiny bit of sparkle.....but it is there!! :)
I stamped this beautiful Christmas Ornament in Memento Tuxedo Black on X-press It Blending Card and coloured it with Copics (G21, G24, G28, BG11, BG72, RV10, R85, E50, E51, Y21, Y35, 0) - all of which are available through the JustRite Store (US & Canada only). I cut it out and popped it up in the middle of the matching border that has also been coloured with Copics and cut out with Large Circle Nestabilities. I just love that these sets perfectly match all the Spellbinders Products!!! *Happy Sigh* I matted it with some Hazel Bazzill cut with the Label 9 Nestabilities. The sentiment is from the new Christmas Nested Sentiments and Verse which I've stamped also in Memento Tuxedo Black and cut out with the Ribbon Tags Trio die and trimmed to make it look like a Tag! Once again --- YAY that the sentiments fit several of the different Spellbinders tag dies!!!! :)
To add a bit of sparkle I added some Clear Spica to the snowflakes on the ornament, the holly berries and I also went over the sentiment with it --- it's just REALLY hard to photograph!!!
Stamps - Christmas Ornament, Christmas Nested Sentiment and Verse (JustRite)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Hazel Bazzill, White, Kaisercraft Christmas Carnival DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, Clear Spica Pen, Large Circle and Label 9 Nestabilities, Martha Stewart Deco Fan Border Punch, Lace, Pink Ribbon, Bow Easy, Kaisercraft Bliss Pearls, Scissors, Foam Tape.
Don't forget to stop by and see what beautiful projects the rest of the JR Team have made!!

Glitter Butterfly
Today I have a niece turning 6yrs old and like most little girls loves pink, butterflies and lots of sparkle!!! I decided to use this week's Just Us Girls Challege (sketch) for the layout and the Shabby Tea Room Challenge to use Glitter!
I started with pink bazzill and layered with white and three panels of My Mind's Eye DSP. I've stamped the sentiment in Memento Rich Cocoa and cut it out with Ribbon Tags Trio and attached it to the bottom of the card with some pink satin ribbon. I've stamped the butterfly in Orchid Versacolor and cut it out and popped it up on an embossed circle of white which is matted with some hazel bazzill and more pink bazzill cut with Blossom Nestabilities. To finish I added a pink satin bow to the ribbon, three pink rhinestones to the top corner and sentiment panel and lots of Kindyglitz (glitter glue) to the butterfly!
Stamps - Gem Stone Insects (Inkadinkado), Warmest Regards (SU)
Paper - Pink and Hazel Bazzill, White, MME DSP
Accessories - Small and Large Circle Nestabilities, Blossom Nestabilities, Ribbon Tags Trio Spellbinders, Swiss Dots EF, Pink Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Pink Rhinestones, Kindyglitz, Foam Tape, Scissors.
That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!! :)

Paper - Very Vanilla, Pink Bazzill, MME
Ink - Versacolour, Rose Red
Accessories - Lacy Days of Summer Border Punch, Pink Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Scissors, Foam Tape, Kindyglitz, Kaisercraft Clear Rhinestones.

Rising...
Hello Everyone!! Today I got to play in The Shabby Tea Room Challenge which was to use squares and be inspired by a vintage quilt. I was working away with these squares when I realised this would be perfect for the Our Creative Corner Sketch Challenge OCCSC11 this week as well!! I've also used the brand new set by JustRite Stampers called HOPE, a set of 4 encouraging centres and borders.
I started with a base of white and layered with some pink bazzill. Next I cut 8 of the smaller Fleur de Lis Pendant dies in white and laid them out like a quilt and then added a piece of pink satin ribbon to one side. I then took a piece of square white card and embossed it and popped it up in the centre. Next I stamped the centre and border from Hope and stamped it in Black and Old Olive Ink, adding touches of colour to the hearts and then matted with some green and pink bazzill and popped this panel on top of the embossed layer. Finally I added a pink satin bow to the ribbon and topped with a prima flower and added some Kaisercraft Rose Pearls to the other three corner squares.
Stamps - Hope (JustRite)
Paper - White, Pink Bazzill, Green Bazzill
Ink - Black, Old Olive, Pretty in Pink
Accessories - Fleur de Lis Pendant die, Square Nestabilities, Victoria EF, 1" Pink Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Prima Flower, Kaisercraft Rose Pearls, Foam Tape.
