A Daisy Bouquet

Welcome to the JustRite Garden Tour!!!  Today the team are showcasing four sets that will be available from the 7th February!!!  I have chosen to use the Beautiful Blossoms set - a set of four centres and borders in the large oval shape!!!  If you read my post when I used the large circle daisy from My Garden you would realise my love for daises!!!  In fact this beautiful bouquet somewhat resembles my wedding bouquet!!!  :)  Since we are talking about daisies, if you happen to be near Nambour (QLD) on February 6th, why not call ahead or pop into Daisy Chain Scrapbooks - I'm going to be there demonstrating this and other new JustRite sets!!!  :)

I started this card with a base of Baja Breeze and layered with yellow bazzill (pierced around the edge), Not Quite Navy and some Urban Garden DSP.  The vertical panel is more yellow bazzill punched on one side with the Martha Stewart Floral Lace Border Punch and layered with more Urban Garden DSP.  Over the top of that I added some 1" White Satin Ribbon and attached a large bow and yellow button (thanks to my friend Michelle).  To the side of this I added some Old Olive that has been cut using the Label 8 Nestabilities.  I stamped the centre and border from Beautiful Blossoms twice - once in Jet Black Stazon and once in Not Quite Navy.  I decided to handcut the oval because I wanted a very close trim and then sponged the centre with Summer Sun and popped it up on foam tape.  I coloured the daisies and cut them out and popped them up on foam squares.  To finish I added some Kaisercraft Snow Pearls to each corner of the Label 8.

Keep hopping and see what gorgeous projects the rest of the team have created!!!!!

What's YOUR Favourite Set??

Here we are, the sixth and last challege for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Anniversary Challenges.  Maki has challenged us to use your Favourite Set!!!  I'm sure it comes as absolutely no surprise that mine is Gerber Daisies!!!!!  :)  (Strangely enough, this could probably fit the Frame It Out Challenge, the Pink Challenge and the Cut and Pop Challenge as well!!!)  Want to play along???  Link your creation to the Mr Linky on the Flourishes Blog and if you upload to SCS use the keyword FTTC52F!!  Did I mention there are prizes as well!!!!!  :)

I started with a base of pink bazzill and layered with a lighter shade of pink bazzill and then a piece of white embossed with the Victoria EF.  The middle strip is some lighter pink punched on both sides with the Martha Stewart Arch Lattice Punch and pierced.  Next is a layer of white and then some Kaisercraft Christmas Carnival DSP (from the 6x6 paper pad).  For my feature panel, I've cut a piece of pink bazzill with the Label 1 Nestabilities and layered with a piece of white cut with the Lattice Pendant.  Next I stamped the Daisy Bouquet and both butterflies from the Gerber Daisies stamp set, coloured them with markers and cut them out and popped them up on the centre panel.  To finish I added a couple of Kaisercraft Rose Pearls to the top and bottom corner.

Flourishes Frame It!

The next challenge on the Flourishes agenda is to FRAME IT OUT!!!  There are so many possibilities for this challenge!!!  I decided to use the Spellbinders Classic Frame die to frame the image from Cottage Home.  :)  Want to play along??  Link your creation to the Mr Linky on the Flourishes Blog and if you upload to SCS use the keyword FTTC52E!!

I started with a base of Old Olive and layered with white and some So Saffron DSP.  Across the bottom I added more Old Olive embossed with Swiss Dots and punched with the Martha Stewart Arch Lattice Punch.  Across this panel I added some white white satin ribbon and a bow made with the Bow Easy.  I stamped the cottage image in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with markers and a blender pen and added the sentiment from the same set to the top corner.  I used the Spellbinders Classic Frame to cut out the image and also to cut out some light green bazzill for the outer frame.  I sponged the embossed parts in Close to Cocoa and popped it up to give a shadow box effect for the image.  To finish I added some Sweet Pea Flowersoft to the cottage 'garden'.

To add more fun to the hop, Kelley of ODBD is giving away THREE prizes of $15 vouchers for ODBD stamps!!!!  All you have to do is comment on each blog and collect the secret words in order to uncover the scripture verse!!!  Once you have the whole verse, pop back to the ODBD blog and send an email to the address provided saying you commented on each blog and what the verse is!!  (If you can't leave a comment on any blog for any reason, just note that in the email and you'll still be eligible.)  My secret words are...... THE BIRDS

On to my card ---- I started with a base of dark purple bazzill and layered with white which has been punched on one side with the Fleur de Lis Border Punch and some Basic Grey Wisteria DSP.  I stamped the sparrow from He Watches Me in Jet Black Stazon and coloured with markers and a blender pen and cut it out using the Mega Curved Rectangle Nestabilities.  Once it was cut out, I used the stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the verse across the bottom.  I attached some light purple ribbon between the image and sentiment and added a bow (made with my Bow Easy) to the side.  To the top corner I added a purple Prima flower and used the Martha Stewart Branch Punch to added some foliage to the sides.  To finish I added a couple of tiny Kaisercraft Snow Pearls to the top and bottom corner.

SSS39 All Creatures Great and Small

Hello everyone!!  Today I was surfing around the net and decided to play The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge - SSS39.  This week, not only do you follow the sketch, the twist is to only have a sentiment as the focal point!  (Even better - there's a prize up for grabs this week too!!!  )  I thought of the new ODBD set Noah's Ark and this adorable sentiment!  :)  This was a great, quick, fun sketch to play with!

I started with a base of Bravo Burgundy and layered with pale pink bazzill and SEI First Kiss PP (double sided).  I then took the middle piece of paper and matted it with more BB that had been punched with the Fiskars Lace Border Punch.  The sentiment is from ODBD's Noah's Ark stamp set and has been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and cut with Mega Long Rectangle Nestabilities and matted with some more BB.  Underneath the sentiment I knotted some pink/burgundy reversible ribbon and above the sentiment I punched two Martha Stewart Monarch Butterflies in pink and burgundy.  To finish I added a couple of Kaisercraft Rose Pearls to the top and bottom corners.

Stamps - Noah's Ark (ODBD)
Paper - Bravo Burgundy, Pale Pink Bazzill, White, SEI First Kiss PP

You Make Me Smile!

Welcome to the third day of sneak peeks!!  Today the JustRite girls are showcasing Seeds of Kindness!  This set is made up of 6 centres and borders in the 1 5/8th size.  Today however, I have only used the centre and paired it with the flowers from Plant a Little Love.  Both sets are available for pre-order from Monday 18th January and shipping on the 20th!  I was inspired by Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge (they are always fantastic to kick that mojo into gear!!) MTSC56!   I know the ribbon isn't in the right place, but it just wouldn't fit the other way!!!  :)

I started with a base of Riding Hood Red and layered with white (pierced), gold and some Bella Rose DSP.  The vertical panel is more white that's been punched with the Martha Stewart Arch Lattice border punch and layered with more Bella Rose.  Next I added a piece of Old Olive that's been embossed with Swiss Dots EF and across both panels attached a piece of 1/2" white satin ribbon.  The feature panel has been stamped using the flowers from the soon to be released Plant A Little Love in Memento Tuxedo Black (twice) and the sentiment from Seeds of Kindness in Old Olive next to one set of flowers.  I colours both sets of flowers with markers and a blender pen and then cut one with Label 4 Nestabilities and the flowers from the second set were popped up on top of the first.  To finish I added a line of gold around the edge of the Label 4 and popped the panel up on foam tape and added a bow to the top of the ribbon.

For more inspiration see the creations of Barb, Angela and the JustRite Blog!!

Stamps - Seeds of Kindness, Plant a Little Love (JustRite)
Paper - Riding Hood Red, White, Gold, Old Olive, Bella Rose DSP

Tangerine Birthday Wishes

Hello Everyone!  I hope you are enjoying your Christmas Break!  While you read this I am away visiting family and enjoying a break from routine!  You may remember that before I went away, I was working on a set of cards that I was giving my grandmother for Christmas.  This is one that I made for her - let's face it, you can never have too many Birthday Cards!!

I was inspired by a recent Mojo Sketch, although I made this after the week's cut off.  I started with a base of Tangerine Tango and layered with white and some Bloom and Grow DSP.  Across that I've added some striped Bloom and Grow that was matted with green bazzill punched both sides with the Martha Stewart Lattice Arch Border Punch.  The image is from SU's Bloomin' with Beauty (Bloomin' Beautiful in the US) and stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with Groovy Guava, Always Artichoke and Creamy Caramel.  I cut it out and popped it up on an embossed piece of white which is matted with Hazel Bazzill and more Tangerine Tango.  I finished off by adding the sentiment (Sincere Salutations - SU), Kaisercraft Blush Pearls to the top corner and also to many of the flower centres.

Stamps - Bloomin' with Beauty (Bloomin' Beautiful), Sincere Salutation (SU)
Paper - Tangerine Tango, Pear and Hazel Bazzill, White, Bloom and Grow DSP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Groovy Guava, Always Artichoke, Creamy Caramel
Accessories - Small, Large and Large Scalloped Circle Nestabilities, Martha Stewart Lattice Arch Border Punch, Swiss Dots EF, Kaisercraft Blush Pearls, Scissors and Foam Tape.

That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!!  :)

WSC109 Congrats EDNA!!!

Today I finally had the chance to play along with Beate's Weekend Sketch Challange!  Of course I HAD to play because the inspiration for this week's challenge came from my BFF Edna!!!!  WOOHOOO!!!!!!  :)  The card that inspired this week's challenge can be found HERE!

This was actually quite a quick card to make, starting with a base of white and layering with Pink Pirouette and more white.  I punched one end of the white with Martha Stewart's Doily Lace Punch and embossed the rest with the Victoria EF.  Across the bottom I added two pieces of this cool ric rak that I found at Bee Crafty in Maryborough - I have no idea what it is called, but it also comes in blue.  I then took the Lattice Pendant Die Set (Spellbinders) and cut out some pieces using the smaller square die and attached them en point across the top.  I thought it looked a bit bland, so I added some Martha Stewart Royal Butterflies (cut with white and sponged with Pretty in Pink) embellished with Kaisercraft Rose Pearls.  The flower has been made using the Poinsettia dies by Spellbinders, cut out in Pink Pirouette.  To add a bit of definition I sponged the centres with Pretty in Pink ink and then popped each flower up on foam tape.  I then added some Kaisercraft Snow Pearls to the centre of the flower.  The sentiment is from Warmest Regards and has been stamped in Pretty in Pink ink and then I cut the panel into a tag shape.

Stamps - Warmest Regards (SU)
Paper - Pink Pirouette, White
Ink - Pretty in Pink
Accessories - Nested Poinsettias (Spellbinders), Lattice Pendant die set (Spellbinders), Doily Lace Border Punch and Royal Butterfly Punch (Martha Stewart), Rose and Snow Pearls (Kaisercraft), Pink Ric Rak, Victoria EF, Foam Tape.

That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!!  :)

FS142 Christmas is Hope

Hello Everyone!!! Today I finally had the chance to play this week's Featured Stamper Challenge - who is none other than Rachel Hope!! Congratulations to Rachel!!! There were so many beautiful cards to choose from, but I finally decided on her Paula's Light card (which I only realised just now is also a FS card! Whoops!) because of it's simple elegance. I changed the image, omitted the sentiment, added a panel, moved the ribbon and added pearls. :)

I started with a base of red bazzill and layered with Very Vanilla and Basic Grey Wassail DSP. In the middle of the card is a panel of Very Vanilla cut with Label 8 Nestabilities and sponged (yes Linda I said sponged!) with Always Artichoke. Across that is more red bazzill with one side punched with the Martha Stewart Loop punch which is layered with more Wassail and some ivory satin ribbon. Then I stamped the cardinal and birdhouse from the Christmas Treasures Set by JustRite in Chocolate Chip and carefully coloured with markers and a blender pen. Even though this set is the large 3 1/4inch Circle set I decided to only use the centre and cut it out with the Large Classic Oval Nestabilities! I have to say I really like it in the oval! :) I matted it with some red bazzill cut with the Small Classic Oval Nestabilities and popped the oval panel up on foam tape. To finish I added an ivory satin bow made with my bow easy and some Kaisercraft Red Pearls to the corners.

Stamps - Christmas Treasures (JustRite)
Paper - Red Bazzill, Very Vanilla, Basic Grey Wassail DSP
Ink - Chocolate Chip, Always Artichoke
Accessories - Label 8, Large Classic Oval and Small Classic Oval Nestabilities, Martha Stewart Loop Punch, Markers, Blender Pen, Ivory Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Kaisercraft Red Pearls, Sponge.

That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!! :)

FS140 Cherish Friendship

Today's card is for my dear friend Chris who is this week's Featured Stamper at SCS!!!! Chris is such a sweet, fun, wonderful person with a huge heart and I was absolutely THRILLED to see her chosen this week, so finally after my chaotic week I have found a chance to make a card in her honour!!! I was inspired by her Happiness Blooms card and slightly changed the layout, changed the colours, punch and image, moved the pearls around and omitted the button.

I decided to go with soft, pretty colours and started with a base of Very Vanilla and layered with green bazzill, pink bling bazzill and DCWV Nana's Nursery Girl DSP. The horizontal strip is more pink bling bazzill with one edge punched with the Martha Stewart Lattice Arch border punch, layered with more DCWV DSP. Around this panel I added some 1" ivory satin ribbon. The main panel has been made using the Special Occasions Font and Center Set by JustRite. I stamped it in black and coloured it with markers and a blender pen. It was cut out using the Large Oval Nestabilities and matted with pink bling and Very Vanilla layers cut with the Label 4 Nestabilities and then popped up on foam tape. To finish I added some tiny Kaisercraft Rose Pearls to the image panel and larger ones to the corners and finally attached an ivory satin bow made with my Bow Easy.

After a good night's sleep I actually was able to get back into the swing of stamping!! Many thanks to those of you who were concerned - it's OK, I'm not sick just worn out!! :) Today's card is for the 2 Sketches 4 You challenge (I was originally going to make the feature panel a circle but I got distracted by the kids!!). This week the challenge is being sponsored by JustRite!!!! The card of the week will win a $100 gift certificate to JustRite - how cool is that??!!! What are you waiting for?? :)

I started with a white card base and layered with some pink bazzill and more white that had been embossed with the Moroccan Screen EF. The horizontal panel is more pink with both edges punches with the Martha Stewart Floral Lace border punch and topped with more embossed white. Next I stamped the shoes and border from the Baby Stamp Ensemble. (The Baby Stamp Ensemble is available right now in the JustRite store for only $9.95!!!!) The shoes were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and the border in Orchid Versacolor. I coloured the shoes with a pink marker and blender pen and the cut them and the border out and popped both pieces up on the the pink scalloped panel. I finished by adding a pink satin ribbon and bow and some Kaisercraft Snow Pearls.

Christmas Card Class

Yesterday I taught a card class at the Scrapbook City Retreat. It was the first time I'd actually taught a class and the ladies were just lovely! The class was using the new Merry Little Christmas Set by JustRite Stampers and the yummy Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly paper. We made four cards altogether and this class is being repeated at the store (Indooroopilly, Brisbane) on October 31st and November 9th - if you are interested in coming along I'd love to see you there, please contact Scrapbook City directly on 3378 7257. :)

The first card I used the soft aqua papers and cream puff bazzill, a bit of embossing, spellbinders dies and colouring with markers. Of course I had to add some ivory satin ribbon and some pearls!!!! LOL!!!

The second card is using the red based papers from the same paper pack to create a bold and fun card. This time I also used the Martha Stewart Zig Zag punch (now available at Scrapbook City along with many other Martha Stewart Border Punches) and some liquid applique for the fluffy effect!!

Stamps - Merry Little Christmas Set (JustRite Stampers)
Paper - Aqua, Dark Aqua, Red, Cream Bazzill, Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly DSP
Ink - Jet Black Stazon
Accessories - Markers, Blender Pen, Martha Stewart Zig Zag Punch, Label 3, Label 4, Large Circle and Scallop Circle Nestabilities, Small Circle Nestabilities, Snowflakes EF, Liquid Applique, 1" Ivory Satin Ribbon, Kaisercraft Pearls - Blush and Red, Foam Tape.

FTTC36 Pink Gerbera Daisies

Today's card is for the Flourishes FTTC36 Think Pink challenge to make a card for a woman in your life using pink. I LOVE these gerberas and decided to use them and not add a sentiment so it can be one of those 'just because' sort of cards. :)

I started with a white base, layered with pink bazzill (pierced) and another layer of white - the top half embossed with the Damask Frame EF. The horizontal strip is more pink bazzill punched with the Martha Stewart Arch Lattice border punch. I then wrapped some 1" white satin ribbon around it and added a white bow made with my bow easy. The frame around the Gerberas was made with a piece of pink bazzill cut with the large scallop oval nestabilities and then the middle cut out with the classic oval nestabilities so that the embossing shows through. The Gerbera Daisies were stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black and coloured with markers and a blender pen, cut out with scissors and a scalpel and popped up over the frame. I finished off with a corner from the Vintage die set and added a single Kaisercraft Snow Pearl to the centre.

Stamps - Gerbera Daisies (Flourishes)
Paper - White and Pink Bazzill
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Markers, Blender Pen, White Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Arch Lattice Border Punch, Vintage Die Set, Scallop and Classic Large Oval Nestabilties, Damask Frame set (provocraft), Paper Piercer, Mat Pack, Foam Tape.

That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!! :)

World Cardmaking Day Cards

Well over the week-end I was attending a card retreat run by Daisy Chain Scrapbooks of Nambour - no tv, no radio and the only access to internet was on my iphone out on the road pointing in a certain direction - but that's what I did to try and find out what the challenges were at SCS for World Cardmaking Day!!! :)

The first card was for the Crafty Secrets challenge to add Dimension! Anyone who follows this blog knows that I LOVE to pop things up, so how could I resist?? Started with a base of red bazzill, layered with white, Hunter Green and Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly DSP. The white panel was punched using the Fiskars Upper Crest Border punch (bit fiddly, but it worked in the end!!) and layered with more red bazzill embossed with Christmas Ornaments. Over the top of both these
panels is a 1" white satin ribbon. The next panel is Hunter Green cut with the Label 9 Nestabilities, layered with a white circle embossed with Swiss Dots. The wreath has been made using the Martha Stewart Branch Punch. The Poinsettia is my friend Edna's - I can't remember the name of the set only that it is from Paper Trey - I stamped it in Real Red and cut it out and popped it up. I finished off by adding a pearl to the centre of the poinsettia and small ones to the corners and a big bow made with my Bow Easy!

The second one was made for the Splitcoaststampers challenge to use the sketch, browns and make it a thank you card. I started with Chocolate Chip and layered with Very Vanilla (pierced), Close to Coca and Kaisercraft Cafe Culture DSP. The middle panel is more Close to Cocoa and Cafe Culture. The sentiment has been made using the 2" Font and Center Set by JustRite. I added some piercing around the bottom of the circle and added a Martha Stewart punched butterfly that had been inked with some Tim Holtz Distress Ink, sprayed with Old Lace Glimmermist and added some Chino pearls to the body. I finished off by adding some flowers (the cream one inked with Paper Trey Vintage Cream), pearl centre, die cuts using Doodle Parts Spellbinders and the corners using Provocraft's Vintage Die Set. Once again thanks to my BFF Edna for the use of the flower, Vintage Cream ink, Distress Ink and Glimmermist - what would I do without you!! {hugs}

***Edited to add - my Chocolate Thank You Card WON one of the SCS prizes!!! How stoked am I??!!***

Hope you had as much fun for World Cardmaking Day as I did!!! Thanks for visiting!!

WCMD Verve Challenge!

Happy World Cardmaking Day!!! Although it is now Sunday for those of us in Australia, we can still enjoy the cardmaking fun with our cardmaking sisters on SCS!!!

Today Verve is sponsoring a challenge hosted by none other than my friend Michelle!!! She has challenged us to make a card using the colours of a flag of the world. I chose IRELAND which is Green, White and Orange! I would love to see Ireland someday - I believe it is such a beautiful part of the world - it's just SO FAR from me!! One of my dearest friends is an Amercian who is currently living in Ireland so this is a little in honour of her. I'd also like to mention Jessie who regularly visits and comments on my blog who is a native of Ireland. :)

Not only have I used the Green, White and Orange of the Irish flag, I have also incorporated the flag as the BG! I started with a base of Old Olive and layered with White and more Old Olive. Then I took a piece of green Bali Breeze DSP, White card embossed using the new Damask Frame Combo set by Provocraft and a Orange piece of Bali Breeze DSP to create my flag background. My centerpiece has been stamped using the 2 3/8" JustRite Center and Font Set and the Times New Roman Upper Case Font (needed an extra D and A) to create the sentiment (I don't know - you just can't find a stamp that says Happy World Cardmaking Day!!!) and stamped it in Tuxedo Memento Black and cut it out with Small Circle Nestabilities. I matted it with some Old Olive cut with Large Circle Nestabilities and mounted on Pumpkin Pie cut with Large Scallop Circle Nestabilities. The flower is from SU's Pretty Amazing Stamp Set, stamped twice in Orange and once in Marigold and triple layered it with pop dots. I then added some Martha Stewart Branch punches to each side of the flower and attached some 1" White Satin Ribbon underneath the panel. I finished off by adding a large Kaisercraft Snow Pearl to the centre of the flower and a couple to the top and bottom corner of the card.

Stamps - 2 3/8" Center and Font Set (JustRite), Pretty Amazing (SU)

MTSC41 Cottage Friends

I'm back!!! Actually we got back a couple of days ago, but I've been so busy settling back in (and doing mounds of washing) that I didn't get a chance to get inky until last night! The exciting thing is that my brand new Flourishes stamps were waiting for me when I got home - so of course I had to use them straight away!!! So I made this last night and then called my dear friend Chris who is celebrating her birthday (and giving away Blog Candy)!!!

I was inspired by this week's Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge and I know I was supposed to make this a long card - but it just wanted to be a square card!!! LOL!! I started with a base of Old Olive and layered with white and more Old Olive (embossed with Swiss Dots EF). Next I added a piece of Windsor Knot DSP and added a horizontal strip of white that I'd punched one side of with my Arch Lattice border punch. I added some more Old Olive over the top and finished with some 1" white satin ribbon and bow made with my Bow Easy! (SIGH - I love my bow easy!!! :) ) The main panel was stamped using the brand new release from Flourishes called Cottage Home - isn't it gorgeous!! I stamped it using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white and then coloured it using markers and a blender pen and then lightly sponged the sky. I cut it out using Mega Curved Rectangle Nestabilities and then popped it up on foam tape.

Stamps - Cottage Home (Flourishes)
Paper - Old Olive, White, Windsor Knot DSP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Martha Stewart Arch Lattice Punch, Swiss Dots EF, Blender Pen, Markers, Mega Curved Rectangle Nestabilties, 1" White Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Foam Tape.

That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!! :)

C4C3 Butterflies for You

Today's card has been made for this week's Crazy 4 Challenges sketch challenge. I also kind of qualifies for Danni's Flutterby Wednesday challenge to use a butterfly or fairy and some sparkle. Now I know it doesn't look like it in the photo, but there is sparkle on that butterfly! :) This was actually a nice, quick card to make (after I took a little detour! *rolls eyes*).

I started with a base of Really Rust and layered with black and some yummy Graphic45 DSP - Baby 2 Bride Collection. Then the vertical strip is more black layered with more Graphic45, this time from the Botanicabella collection. I then stamped a different image, coloured it in and then realised that it was WAY too big for the panel I wanted to use and then started all over again! LOL! Then I stamped this flower image from SU's Friends 24-7 set and coloured it with markers (pumpkin pie and old olive). I cut it out using the Mega Curved Rectangles die set and then lightly sponged the edges while still in the die in So Saffron. The sentiment is from SU's Best Yet set and stamped in Jet Black Stazon. I then added a pumpkin pie Royal Butterfly punch that has been well sprayed with Wheatfields Glimmermist and finished off by adding some Kaisercraft Black Pearls to the body and under the sentiment and popped the entire white panel up on foam tape.

Stamps - Friends 24-7, Best Yet (both SU)
Paper - Really Rust, Black, Graphic45, White
Ink - Jet Black Stazon
Accessories - Martha Stewart Royal Butterfly Punch, Kaisercraft Black Pearls, Mega Curved Rectangle Nestabilities, foam tape.

That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!! :)

MTSC39 Thank You Mrs K!!!

Today's card has been made for my son's teacher who is leaving to go on Maternity Leave. (It is the end of 3rd Term for us in Australia and he will have a substitute teacher for the final term.) Normally I make thank you cards at the end of the school year - this one is just a little early. She is expecting her baby boy in 6wks time and we wish her all the best and our prayers will be with her! (Oh - and yes, I did spell her name correctly!! :) ) I was inspired by Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge this week - what a fab sketch!!!

I started with a white base, layered with Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red and some Bella Rose DSP. The vertical panel is more RHR with both sides punched with the Martha Stewart Arch Lattice Punch and layered with more Bella Rose. The main panel has been stamped using JustRite Stampers 2" Center and Font Set - using the flower centre and creating a personal good-bye message for my son's teacher. It was all stamped in Jet Black Stazon, coloured with markers and cut out with Circle Nestabilities and mounted on RHR cut with Blossom Nestabilties. I finished off by adding some Kaisercraft Snow pearls to both the vertical panel and each side of the sentiment panel and using a 1" White Satin Ribbon across the bottom, creating the bow using my Bow Easy (I LOVE this tool!!! :) ).

Stamps - JustRite 2" Centre and Font Set

Paper - White, Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red, Bella Rose DSP
Ink - Jet Black Stazon
Accessories - Markers, Blender Pen, Large Circle Nestabilities, Blossom Nestabilities, Martha Stewart Arch Lattice Border Punch, Kaisercraft Snow Pearls, 1" White Satin Ribbon, Foam Tape.

That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!! :)
