To The World....

Hello Everyone!  As you know Mother's Day is fast approaching so it's time to get cracking on those cards!  Today I've been playing with a new set by ODBD called The Greatest Gift which is full of sentiments perfect for mothers!  It also has these sweet decorative butterfly stamps and matching dies (included in the set) in three sizes (the ones I used are the smallest.  :)

I really love this sentiment because it is SO TRUE!!  When you are a small child, of course your mother really is your world (sigh, I remember when my kids used to look at me like that!),  then you grow up and realise that the world is a big place, but the older you get the more you realise how much your Mum (or Mom) really is your world forever.  Can you tell I really love my Mum?!  :)

I've matched The Greatest Gift Stamp/Die Duo with some cream and dusty pink card and two pieces of this lovely paper called Romantic Roses Paper Pad, some pinkish ink and sparkle in the form of Glitter Deco Tape and some rhinestones!  The sentiment is diecut with Double Stitched Squares also from ODBD!

Stamps - The Greatest Gift (ODBD)
Paper - ODBD Romantic Roses Paper Pad, Cream, Sweet Sugarplum
Ink - Purple Wine
Accessories - ODBD Dies: Double Stitched Squares, The Greatest Gift Dies (Butterflies), X-press It Glitter Deco Tape (mermaid tones), Rhinestones, X-press It Foam Tape

That's all from me today, thanks for popping by and hope you are inspired to stamp!  :)

Beachy Tote and Pocketbook

Hello Everyone!  If you've been following my blog you'll know that ODBD have released some gabby new dies this month - Timeless Tote, Timeless Tote Layers and Petite Pocketbook.  Well I'd been playing around in my craft room and even though it's *supposed* to be Autumn here in Australia, we had such a hot week that it felt like Summer, which made me think that I could make the Timeless Tote into a Beach Bag!  I went digging into my paper and found ODBD's By The Shore Collection and used the surfboard paper with it's bold, bright colours and cut that with the Timeless Tote Layers.  The sentiment is from Aloha stamp set and for those of us not familiar with Hawaiian language, this means Happy Birthday - how fun is that!  To accent and add even more POP, I created a flower with Hibiscus Die and Tropical Leaves Die.

Due to the size of the surfboards on the paper, I couldn't really make a matching Petite Pocketbook without chopping them into tiny pieces.  I've used the 'sand' paper that was at the bottom of the surfboard paper and matched it with this super cute palm tree paper from By The Shore Collection.  I've finished it with a decorative brad.

Both the Tote and the Pocketbook have been created from Kraft Cardstock to give a nice natural/beachy feel.  :)

Stamps - Aloha (ODBD)
Ink - Versafine Black
Paper - ODBD By The Shore, Kraft, So Saffron, Wild Wasabi
Accessories - ODBD Dies: Timeless Tote, Tote Layers, Petite Pocketbook, Hibiscus, Tropical Leaves; Decorative Brad, X-press It High Tack Tape, X-press It Clear Gel Glue

That's all from me today, thanks for visiting and hope you are inspired to stamp!  :)

Rosy Tote!

Hello Everyone!  Today I'm playing with the new Timeless Tote and Timeless Tote Layers Dies from Our Daily Bread Designs!  I seriously love these dies and I love the finished results!

I decided to go with a pretty rose theme using ODBD's Shabby Rose Collection and matched it up with cream card and a bit of Blushing Bride. I've used the cream card to cut the base pieces and some silver card for the buckle pieces using Timeless Tote.  I've used the Timeless Tote Layers Dies to cut all the Shabby Rose pieces and the Blushing Bride pieces for the handles.

For those who've asked the measurements are 5 inches across and 6 inches high to the top of the handles so it's such a great size and I'm sure I'll have another one of these made very soon!!

You can check out more inspiration at the ODBD BlogFacebook and Instagram!

Happy 10th Birthday!

Hello Everyone! My daughter had a birthday party recently and imagine my shock when I realised I had NO BOY CARDS in my stash!  Seriously, how did I let that happen?  Anyway, thank goodness for these Large Number Dies by ODBD because they make it really easy to make a super quick card. They also make it sooooo easy to create the dreaded Man Card!!  :)

I've used a white base and layered with Marina Mist and topped with some fabby Maja Designs Denim and Friends paper.  I've added a piece of grosgrain ribbon down the middle.  I've added another strip of Marina Mist across the top and then cut a piece of River Rock with a stitched flag die and popped it up on X-press It Foam Tape.  I've then used some Star Spellbinders dies to create the white and yellow stars.  Finally I've used Large Number Dies to cut the '10' and airbrushed it with some B95 Copic while still in the die.

Black and White Wedding

Hello Everyone!  A friend of mine recently asked if I could make her a card for a wedding she was attending using a black and white theme.  This is the finished result using a mixture of products from different companies.  I'm really happy with the final result and she loved it too!  I have another one to make for her soon with a completely different style, so I might have another one for you in a couple of weeks.  :)

The base is white and I've layered with a piece of black cut with Romantic Rectangles.  I've layered this with silver (it's actually quite shiny but didn't photograph well) and some Wedding Wishes paper.  Around these layers I've added some white ribbon topped with ruffled silver ribbon and some silver cord.  I've stamped the peony and leaves from Peony Muse in Grey Flannel ink onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copies - N0, N1, N3, N5 - and then die cut with the matching Peony Muse Co-ordinating Dies.  I've popped these up on X-press It Foam Tape.  To finish I've cut some black card with Leaves and Branches Die and Mr and Mrs Die.

Stamps - Peony Muse (Power Poppy)
Ink - Gray Flannel
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Black, White, Our Daily Bread Designs Wedding Wishes DP
